How to Use Your NLSCer Points

Since this franchise began, you guys have earned points for participating in contests, and you can continue to do so. I probably should have done this a long time ago, but now you can use your points to upgrade your player. Listed below are the fields the game uses to determine your ratings, and how many points it takes to upgrade your player at that skill:
Code: Select all
Field Goals: (2 points)
3 Pointers: (2 points)
Free Throws: (1 point)
Dunk: (2 points)
Inside Scoring: (2 points)
Offensive Rebounding: (1 point)
Jumping: (1 point)
Strength: (1 point)
Quickness: (1 point)
Speed: (1 point)
Passing: (1 point)
Dribbling: (1 point)
Offensive Awareness: (1 point)
Defensive Rebounding: (2 points)
Steals: (1 point)
Blocks: (2 points)
Defensive Awareness: (1 point)
Endurance: (1 point)
Hardiness (a.k.a. Injuries): (1 point)
Primacy (a.k.a. How often the CPU goes to you on offense in game play only): 1 point

So when you want to use your points, please PM me and tell me how many points you have and tell me what combination of rating you want me to boost and how much.

OPENING NIGHT:

NC Domination did not play on opening night, but four teams did: The Golden State Warriors, the New York Knicks, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Denver Nuggets. The New York Knicks, searching for their first playoff berth in at least a decade, have been struck another critical blow:

Knicks #1 Pick Tristan King Struggles in NBA Debut and Breaks Foot

Not the kind of headline Knicks fans were looking for. They were looking for "King Scores 35, Buries Warriors Single-handedly" or "King Already Searching For A Ring". Instead when they woke up the next morning, their team's future seemed suspended.

Tristan King looked flustered from the start, and didn't seem to know what to do on the court and tried to do everything too quickly. He used his athleticism well, but it didn't help his shooting. With just three minutes remaining in the game, King had played 39 minutes, but had scored an underwhelming 10 points on 4-22 shooting, grabbed 5 boards, and had 7 turnovers. King pulled down his sixth rebound, but landed awkwardly on Stephen Curry's foot. He had broken his foot and will undergo surgery in the next couple days. The Knicks' 6'5 forward-guard could miss two to three months.

The Warriors routed the Knicks 97-69.

Blake Griffin Makes Nuggets Debut, Gets 34 and 20

The Mavericks may have beaten the Nuggets immensely, (116-92) but the Blake-Carmelo duo seems to be dominating. Griffin scored 34 points and 20 rebounds, while Carmelo scored another 33. Nowitzki and Ellis led the Mavs with 27 points apiece.

Re: NCD '12-13: [0-0] - Player Goals

Players' Goals

This season, each Dominator has statistical goals they would like to accomplish. Some might be more incredible feats than others, but some have higher standards than others, simply because they are better players.

TYSON CHANDLER has never scored 30 points in an NBA game and makes it a goal this season. "If I can pull down 30 boards with it, that'd be pretty nice too, but I won't get ahead of myself just yet," Chandler said with a laugh. "But really, my main goals are to lead the Domination to the Finals and repeat as an All-Star."

CHRISTOPHER HENDERSON, a highly versatile player, cited a five-by-five or a triple-double as goals in the season. This would be a great way to show off his defensive skills along with his rare passing abilities for a power forward. "Before anything else, I have to establish myself as the best rookie in the NBA through all-around play." Best rookie? Even with Tristan King out of the way for a while, he's got some serious competition.

JARED DUDLEY has been known to go off fairly often for 40-point games, and has a career-high of 48. "I've always dreamed of becoming an NBA All-Star who scores 50 points in a game every once in a while." He's fulfilled half that goal, now he wants to find a way to score 50 in a game. "But never at the expense of my team mates. If I just hog the ball and take like 50 shots to get there, we're not going to win and winning is all I'm here for."

ALEXANDER HENDERSON is a rookie thrust into a starting role right away. Like his brother, he's a versatile player with a solid jump shot, but he's had some problems playing at the NBA level. This worsened with a pre-season shoulder injury. He's ready to play, he's been bothered with it and it's affected his play. "I could say I want to score 30, but all I really want is to play well at the NBA level and do whatever my team asks me to do. That's my job."

COREY HARRINGTON is a big-time player, who can score in bunches some nights, but just turn off on offense other nights. He's always there on defense, but he cites "all-around consistency in my level of play" and "grab more rebounds" as his main goals. "I wouldn't mind being an All-Star again; I just want to avoid a sophomore slump."

-- Bench --

SHANNON BROWN lost his starting spot after only one season. "I think I'm better suited to the bench role on a playoff team. I want things to be the way they were in my first season here. You know, regularly having big games from off the bench; I just want that back."

ANTHONY MORROW was the NBA's leader in three-point attempts, makes, and percentage last season, and he shot over 50%. He's been nothing more than a jump shooter, but he has some ambitious goals: "I want to break some three-point record. I think I've got it in me. I think, given the chance, I could make 13 threes in a game, or just over the course of the season, just keep shooting and making loads of threes." That would give the Domination a boost.

PAUL MILLSAP seems to be nothing more than a solid rebounder and an inconsistent scorer from what we've seen so far of him. "I want to be the 'me' from a couple years ago. As a bench player, I don't see myself racking up any 40 point games, but I think I could still score 25 or 30 some time. My main goal, though, is to establish myself as an elite rebounder in this league."

WALTER HERRMANN had some problems adjusting to playing from the bench last season. This pre-season, he was an absolute stud, averaging 17 points and 9 rebounds in the five pre-season games he played. "I can envision myself making some kind of resurgence. Being 33 years old won't stop me from putting up a couple 30-point games. I won't let my age get in the way."

ACIE LAW has always been inconsistent. One night, he could play half the game and not score; the next night, he could play limited minutes and score 20. "Anything's possible, but I want to average double-figures this season. I've averaged 9 points and 7 points in my last two seasons here. Now it's my time to break that barrier."

ANTOINE WRIGHT spent most of the last two seasons trying to re-re-re-re-re-invent his game. "I've changed my game so many times. I was a jump-shooter for awhile, I was a board crasher, a big point-guard defender, heck, I've even played as an undersized power forward. I just want to find something that works, and I think I've got potential as a scorer... and a rebounder... and..."

DESAGANA DIOP is an improved player over the last couple years. After being known as one of the worst offensive players in the game just three years ago, he worked extremely hard to improve his sickeningly low point totals. His career-high stands at 16 points, and Diop said, "I have made it my goal to score 20 this season. Whatever it takes, I want to be a capable offensive player."

--Injured Reserves--

MARIO WEST is a gifted defender. "You know, sometimes I try too hard on offense. I'm a limited offensive player. People know to surround me with scorers, so my lack of scoring doesn't hurt. I make my living on the defensive end. I steal, I block , and I limit the opposing teams point totals. That's what I do, and I hope I can be known as a defensive stud, not just an offensive liability. I honestly don't give a damn about stats. I just want to win."

ERIC RIVERS is a gifted point guard: he can pass well, he has the court vision, and he's probably one of the best dribblers in the NBA already. His problems: he is a maddeningly streaky shooter, and he's only 5'6. "I'm not a scorer, I'm a distributor and a ball-handler. A guy like me can't worry about stats at this point. I have to make sure I do my job and stay in the NBA and not get stuck in the D-League or something."

DEXTER PITTMAN is the exact opposite of Eric Rivers. At 6'11 and over 300, he could be a dominating figure, but he lacks on offense, and is detrimental to teams not desperate for size. He's been stuck in the D-League, despite signing five NBA contracts over the last two years. "I've said it for a while. I'm almost always on a team's roster, I just never see the NBA court. I'm just signed and sent down. My main goal is just to play."

Domination Beat By Rockets In Season Opener

HOU: 38 | 59 | 89 | 122 | Jared Dudley: 26 points (9-18 FG%, 6-12 3P%, 2-2 FT%), 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 1 turnover, 5 fouls
NCD: 30 | 54 | 88 | 114 | Aaron Brooks: 34 points (9-12 FG%, 1-2 3P%, 15-16 FT%), 1 rebound, 7 assists, 1 steal, 0 blocks, 5 turnovers, 4 fouls

North Carolina played well throughout their season opener, but the Rockets played harder- namely Aaron Brooks and Kevin Martin. But a healthy Yao Ming made all the difference in the world. Yao has been slowed down greatly by recent injuries and nearly retired last season. Instead, he came back and scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds- his first double-double in two years. He made up for Bryce Fletcher's 0-8 game, and he made up for the lack of other big players. Taj Gibson did not play due to a sprained ankle, while Steve Novak broke his arm in a pre-season game and could miss anywhere from a couple months to the entire season. This left the team very small, and smaller guys stepped up. Aaron Brooks, despite all sorts of trade rumors, scored 34 points in the first game of the season, and K-Mart scored 27.

Caron Butler and Andre Miller made their marks in the game, Butler scoring 19, and Miller getting 12 points and 12 rebounds coming off the bench. Rookie combo forward Ron Kidd scored four points, grabbed two rebounds, and recorded an outstanding block on Shannon Brown in the fourth quarter.

The Domination needed help from the beginning. Aaron Brooks drew two fouls on Corey Harrington in the first 32 seconds of the game. Harrington would play a measly six minutes in the game before fouling out in the third quarter. Acie Law stepped up tremendously, scoring 17. Jared Dudley recorded his usual 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals, but he nearly fouled out as well. He picked up his fifth foul in the third quarter, but played the entire fourth quarter and evaded fouls. Tyson Chandler's scoring rebounding helped a lot, as he put up 14 points and 16 rebounds, but it didn't help enough.

The rookies, Alex and Chris Henderson played very well in their debuts. Chris scored 16 and had six boards and five assists in his NBA debut, while his little brother scored 13 and two blocks. Two other players made their NCD debuts: Paul Millsap had four points and two blocks and Antoine Wright recorded an assist and a steal, each playing six minutes.

Utah Jazz Trade Sophomore Badu Thomas to the Domination for Desagana Diop, Sparking 2 Other Trades

The Domination made three trades today. Utah, which had been trading Badu Thomas, was in desperate need of a starting center, and could use some extra defense, so they took Desagana Diop. They sent away a good rebounder, and a solid shooter- their 6'6 power forward.

In a quick attempt to size up, the Domination were able to snag an unhappy Nene from Denver for Paul Millsap, and also traded Antoine Wright to Dallas for an aging Antawn Jamison.

Badu Thomas was thrilled to leave Utah. "Nothing against Utah, but we sucked without Deron. I'm glad to be part of a team I can contribute to, that can win games."

Nene was also unhappy in Denver. "I thought me, Blake, and Carmelo were gonna dominate. I was amazed when coach Karl started that Italian center over me. I knew I'd fallen out of favor in Denver and I needed a change of scenery. When we got torched by Dallas, and coach Karl kept me on the bench, I knew my time in Denver was over. I know I'll be coming off the bench in NC too, but I know I'll get the time and attention I deserve on a team that can compete."

Antawn Jamison, however, was less than thrilled to leave Dallas. "I know I should be happy that I'm back home in Charlotte again, but seriously, I've been trying to get a ring in Dallas. I might be calling it quits in a couple years, and I want that championship. If I don't win a ring this year, I'm moving on to another team. Also, if Dallas wins this year, I'm going to fucking kill someone," he added with a laugh.

Chris Henderson Goes Clutch In Second NBA Game, NCD Sinks WAS

WAS: 29 | 53 | 75 | 99 | Tony Allen: 26 points (11-14 FG%, 0-1 3P%, 4-6 FT%), 6 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal, 0 blocks, 2 turnovers, 5 fouls
NCD: 22 | 46 | 77 | 101 | Christopher Henderson: 16 points (6-10 FG%, 2-4 3P%, 2-4 FT%), 2 assists, 8 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, 2 turnovers, 2 fouls. Scored last 5 points of the game, including game tying & winning shots.

With just 35 seconds left in the game, Tony Allen drove to the hoop for a layup, drew the foul, and completed a three-point play and the Wizards led by three! Just five seconds later, Acie Law threw a quick pass to Chris Henderson who completed a layup to cut the lead back to one. The Wizards set up, but Al Thornton's pass went astray with 18 seconds left. Walter Herrmann inbounded perfectly to Chris Henderson. Henderson shot a three. Zee Otoo facepalmed when the 23% outside shooter in college took his 4th three of the night at such a crucial time. Zee Otoo wasn't even watching when the ball swished through the net, and only picked his head up in relief after the players had completely vacated their bench. Otoo couldn't believe it and neither could the rest of the team, particularly Chris Henderson and Jared Dudley, who were still trying to figure out why Henderson couldn't have passed to a wide-open Dudley. Either way they were thrilled. Washington rookie center Houston shot with nine seconds left, but airballed the 10-foot jumper. Acie Law hurtled out of nowhere to grab the rebound and avoided getting fouled. The game was won and they established that Chris Henderson could be a clutch player!

Philadelphia Barely Escapes North Carolina

PHI: 31 | 51 | 86 | 112 | Predrag Morinoskovic: 27 points (10-16 FG%, 1-4 3P%, 6-6 FT%), 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 0 blocks, 2 turnovers, 3 fouls
NCD: 24 | 46 | 76 | 108 | Jared Dudley: 21 points (8-13 FG%, 3-7 3P%, 2-3 FT%), 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 1 block, 4 turnovers, 6 fouls

The Domination had a huge fourth quarter spark. With five minutes left in the fourth, they trailed the 76ers by fifteen. Jared Dudley scored eleven straight points (with two made free-throws from Jannero Pargo mixed in), Walter Herrmann subsequently sank three free throws to complete a 14-2 run. But that was as close as the Domination got. Demar Derozan scored twelve of the 76ers' last nineteen points. The two Hendersons totalled thirteen after the big run, but it wasn't enough. The Domination were buried, but didn't go down without a fight. Corey Harrington, Chris Henderson, Acie Law, and Jared Dudley all fouled out in the final three minutes. In fact, Shannon Brown ended up playing a couple minutes at the 1. Predrag Morinoskovic stuck the final dagger in - a layup with eight seconds left that put the 76ers up by seven. Alexander Henderson hit a three at the buzzer, but it was almost for nothing: North Carolina still lost by four.

I just checked on a couple guys.

Cruzerr- you've scored 5.5ppg over 2 games in Cleveland (both wins)
Thierry- has yet to score in 3 games (7mpg) for Dallas, but has a total of 7 rebounds and 4 steals
Axel- scored just 8 points over the course of four games for the Cats, but hasn't got many minutes (just 11mpg) behind Raymond Felton, who is currently averaging 24ppg.
puttin- 6 points, 4 assists, 1 steal in one game, then got injured- should be back in a month.
Cream- the last reserve for the Heat, has yet to play.
osaki (Cluster Jackson)- started two games (11ppg, 11rpg), then OKC traded for Joakim Noah (lol), and you're coming off the bench now- I'll find the exact trade and post it.

Also, give me a little while, I'm trying to upload pics of the games as I type this. I should have them up shortly. EDIT: They're up. :D

Great games from AB, Yao, and K-Mart. Remember their domination in my first story? Good times.

Lol at Chris Henderson taking that three. He must have had balls to take that three being such a low percentage shooter in college. Also nice acquisition in Nene. Adding a good backup to Chandler so you still have the rebounding and shotblocking, but also a decent mid-range shooter off the bench.

No, OKC traded someone else for Noah, you're still in OKC.

Jamison To Miss Another Month With Dislocated Shoulder

Antawn Jamison's last sixth months have been a total disaster. His team lost in the final moments of an intense triple-OT game 7 of the NBA Finals, and just three days later, he tore a tendon in his wrist while working out and underwent surgery. Just two months later, in his second practice back with the Mavs, he sprained his ankle and sat out two more weeks, before undergoing surgery on that. Just days after he was cleared to play, the Mavericks traded him to the young Domination, despite Jamison's wishes to stay with a title contender. Jamison practiced twice with the team and had yet to play a game for the Domination before dislocating his shoulder.

"I'm really bummed about the whole, um, everything, um, the whole situation right now. I wanted to stay in Dallas. I felt like they were ditching me or something. Now I think about it, I think it's pretty good to have a run in my hometown of Charlotte. I went to high school here. In fact, I was really anticipating my debut here, and then, you know, I got hurt. Again."

Jamison isn't ready to quit. "I'm 36, I'm kind of breaking down. My body's telling me it's time to shut it down, but my mind is telling me to keep going as long as it takes to win a championship. It's what I'm here to do, even if I'm stuck as only a jump shooter, no more, no less. All I want's a championship and I want a role in it. I'll give everything I've got left in me for this team when I get back."

Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to have much left. He's actually a very good 3-point shooter in this game (rating of 83), can't do much else though. :(

But hitting shots is all I need from him.

Anyway, big 7-game recap coming up. Warning: it'll be a long read, and a lot happens. Sorry.

Seven Game Recap: Domination Go 5-2

Domination Stumped By Lowly Spurs

SAS: 36 | 66 | 90 | 120 | Maxwell Martin: 28 points (12-20 FG%, 0-6 3P%, 4-5 FT%), 3 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals, 2 blocks, 1 turnover, 1 foul
NCD: 22 | 46 | 75 | 107 | Tyson Chandler: 23 points (9-13 FG%, 0-1 3P%, 5-7 FT%), 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 1 turnover, 4 fouls

One must ask, "Are the Spurs bad anymore?" They've started 2-2 after securing a top-3 pick due to their awful record from last season. Not only did San Antonio draft a 6'11 small forward stud named Dan Janson, they were able to pry another lottery pick from another lowly team, Sacramento. Guard Maxwell Martin has scored 24, 27, 17, and 28 in his four games with San Antonio. It came at the price of most of the their front line, which, after the trade, consisted of second-year center Valdis Iesalnieks, third-year center Timofey Mozgov, who missed half of last season with a hamstring injury, a near-retirement Tim Duncan, and a 6'11, but soft, small forward in Dan Janson. Unfortunately, the Spurs lost Iesalnieks to a severely sprained knee in the season opener, and he may not return until January. Stuck playing James Harden and Bobby Simmons as power forwards at times, you would think the Spurs would have been mauled by the Domination.

Well, they weren't.

The little Spurs (Martin, Parker, Williams) walked all over the Domination in the first half. Martin scored 14 in the opening quarter, and scored another eight in the second, while Elliot Williams scored all fourteen points in the second quarter. The Domination weren't expecting it. They rested defensive rock Mario West and let 5'6 guard Eric Rivers play his first NBA game. "I thought I played great. I didn't think I could even make it on a team, or score three treys in the NBA in my career, or grab three steals and four assists, like I did in my first ever game. It's a shame it happened in a game like this, but hopefully I'll have another performance like this, during a much better game."

The game was, according to Jared Dudley, "a total fucking fiasco that should never have fucking taken place." Dudley, of course, was upset because of his saddening 5-25 shooting, and his 0-9 shooting from outside. "We were cold all night and I couldn't find the net worth shit- most of the team couldn't. The only way we could score was by attempting a bunch of shots and reeling in offensive rebounds for second chance points. That shit shouldn't have to happen. Ever. We'll shake it off an play like usual. Don't worry about it." The usually mild-mannered Jared Dudley had kicked and damaged a chair on his way off the court in frustration after the third quarter, resulting in a technical foul and a fine. He was also fined for his vulgar post-game interview.

Team Effort Powers Domination over Pistons In Fourth Quarter

DET: 20 | 50 | 77 | 105 | Jose Calderon: 27 points (7-10 FG%, 6-9 3P%, 7-7 FT%), 0 rebounds, 7 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 4 turnovers, 2 fouls
NCD: 20 | 51 | 76 | 110 | Jared Dudley: 25 points (11-18 FG%, 1-6 3P%, 2-2 FT%), 3 rebounds, 0 assists, 3 steals, 0 blocks, 1 turnover, 3 fouls

The entire game was neck and neck until a fourth quarter 12-2 surge. Jared Dudley had just eleven points coming into the quarter. He scored 14 in the closing period. He was aided by solid shooting from Acie Law and excellent defense from Tyson Chandler. Corey Harrington however, was unable to keep Jose Calderon in check. Calderon scored all but two of his points at either the charity stripe or the three-point line and was extremely efficient, scoring 27 points on 10 FG attempts. Pistons center Nenad Krstic played all but the final minute of the game and had a solid all-around game.

The Pistons were missing starting point guard Kirk Hinrich due to a knee injury that will cost him the next two games. Rookie Gary Tyler was a healthy scratch.

Dudley Scores 32, Harrington Scores Career-High 42, Smash League-Best Chicago

CHI: 24 | 45 | 69 | 93 | Luol Deng: 20 points (8-16 FG%, 4-8 3P%, 0-0 FT%), 12 rebounds, 0 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 turnover, 1 foul
NCD: 26 | 55 | 89 | 117 | Corey Harrington: 42 points (18-28 FG%, 2-4 3P%, 4-7 FT%), 0 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 3 blocks, 4 turnovers, 5 fouls

Corey Harrington once again shocked fans all over the NBA, scoring a career-high of 42 points on 18-of-28 shooting, only attempting four threes. These points included electrifying dunks, awesome layups, and a series of mid-range jump shots. More importantly, he did it while playing some of the best defense of his life. Maybe even more importantly, he did it against one of the best players he is often compared to: Derrick Rose. Rose struggled uder Corey Harrington's defensive chokehold and only managed to score on four of his seventeen shots, and was inefficient when dishing the rock. He finished with a season-low nine points, nine assists, and five rebounds, with a season-high eight turnovers.

Harrington, Chandler and Dudley did it all. Corey scored 42 and put up great defensive numbers, Jared Dudley put up a 32/7/7/3/3 statline with zero fouls (a feat only completed once in NBA history by LeBron James), while Tyson Chandler had a double-double and great defensive stats. It was evident the team had great chemistry on the court, and Corey Harrington was the man linking it all together.

Domination Roll Past Kings, Complete Three-Game Win Streak

SAC: 22 | 47 | 75 | 104 | Devin Andrews: 19 points (8-13 FG%, 0-1 3P%, 3-3 FT%), 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, 1 block, 2 turnovers, 1 foul
NCD: 35 | 53 | 75 | 107 | Corey Harrington: 24 points (11-14 FG%, 2-3 3P%, 0-0 FT%), 4 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, 3 blocks, 4 turnovers, 2 fouls

The Kings are a team with an amazing amount of young talent. They got rid of Maxwell Martin, their first-rounder this year, but replaced him with a much better young player in Eric Gordon. Put him alongside sophomore star Devin Andrews, fourth-year point guard Tyreke Evans, third-year center Demarcus Cousins, and a flourishing veteran in Tyrus Thomas, and you have yourself a solid and young basketball team. On the bench are aging veteran David West and rising guard Dominique Jones. These seven players scored all but nine of their points, with Gordon, Andrews, and Thomas leading the way. Thomas had a 15/15 night, while Gordon scored 33 and Andrews flirted with a triple-double. The Kings played like a team, but the Domination just outplayed them on both ends of the floor.

In a recent poll, the NC Domination were rated the third-best defensive team behind the Charlotte Bobcats and the Miami Heat. Corey Harrington and Tyson Chandler definitely played a huge role in that, and they showcased their defense tremendously against the Kings. Chandler and Harrington combined seven steals and eight blocks. They worked hard on the offensive end also, combining for 40. The bench chipped in; despite Chandler, Dudley, and Harrington being the only double-digit scorers, every active NCD player scored a field goal. In the end, it was Jared Dudley's mid-range jumper that stuck the final dagger into the hopeful Kings squad. Eric Gordon attempted a pair of threes after this, but both missed, and the Kings were unable to foul before the clock expired, giving North Carolina another win.

Battered and Crippled Thunder Fall To Domination

OKC: 37 | 68 | 92 | 112 | Kevin Durant: 43 points (15-30 FG%, 5-9 3P%, 8-8 FT%), 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 0 blocks, 2 turnovers, 2 fouls
NCD: 27 | 60 | 83 | 114 | Jared Dudley: 32 points (12-21 FG%, 6-13 3P%, 2-2 FT%), 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, 0 blocks, 3 turnovers, 5 fouls

The Thunder only player seven players. Lucky for them, they were all extremely talented players. Five of their regular seven bench players sat with various injuries: Cluster "Osaki" Jackson sat with a sprained ankle, Brandon Bass and Jason Thompson didn't play due to knee soreness, while Louis Williams missed the game with a elbow sprain. Daequan Cook wasn't able to play due to a wrist strain, but he dressed anyway, because the Thunder were forced to dress 8 players. The Thunder did not recall any of their three inactive/D-League players.

The seven players that played, however, could potentially all find themselves on All-Star Games at some point in their careers: Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, Joakim Noah, Russell Westbrook, Evan Turner, Andre Iguodala, and Serge Ibaka. The Domination barely stood a chance against this stellar squad in the first three quarters. The tired Thunder were only able to make it through three quarters, though. Their production took a nose-dive, and so did their lead. They were so tired, they found themselves two points down with eleven seconds left, and Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Andre Iguodala were unable take and covert on the final big shot.

Still, you've got to credit the Domination. They wore the Thunder down to the bone. The Domination purposely played an extremely uptempo game for most of the game, scoring quickly on possessions and forcing Westbrook and Durant to take shots prematurely. The two amassed 26 missed shots between them. Iguodala added eight more. The Domination were efficient and productive at all aspects of the game. Rookie Alex Henderson had a very balanced game, including a surprising strong defensive outing, but his brother struggled on offense, but did a solid job on Jeff Green and Serge Ibaka defensively. Ultimately, the bench (or lack thereof in the Thunder's case) was the X-Factor. The Thunder, totally worn out by the end, were throughly outplayed in the fourth by the well-rested Domination starting five.

A Familiar Face Has A Strong Game For Golden State

GSW: 24 | 52 | 81 | 114 | Adam Morrison: 22 points (8-10 FG%, 1-1 3P%, 5-6 FT%), 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 0 blocks, 0 steals, 3 turnovers, 1 foul
NCD: 25 | 45 | 85 | 113 | Tyson Chandler: 12 points (6-7 FG%, 0-0 3P%, 0-1 FT%), 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks, 1 steal, 1 turnover, 3 fouls

Zee Otoo admitted, for the first time, that he truly enjoyed watching an opponent have a strong night. Adam Morrison scored 22 points on 10 shots and grabbed six rebounds in one of the best performances of his fairly miserable NBA career. "He was an original Dominator. I can't help but cheer for him sometimes. But it can't come at the expense of losing a game." That was Stephen Curry's job. He efficiently scored 35 points and 10 assists and stuck the game-winning shot in Jared Dudley's face.

The two teams' styles of play were interestingly similar and different at the same time. Both teams played mediocre defense, but showcased great offensive talent. The Warriors' offense was run by no more than three players, while the entire Domination team was involved in the offense. The Domination scored 113 points, and had six players in double-digits, but Chris Henderson led NC in scoring with just 14. Jared Dudley, limited with a strained abdominal muscle, had only 13 points and seemed more inclined to dish the rock rather than go to the rim with it and led the team with five assists. His defense on Shane Battier was mediocre and said after the game that he was glad the team had a two-week break, because it would give him time to heal, and that the injury was bothering him throughout the game.

Jared Dudley Breaks A Lot Of Records In Memphis Blowout

MEM: 22 | 56 | 69 | 88 | Dan Messina: 28 points (9-19 FG%, 3-11 3P%, 7-8 FT%), 5 assists, 0 rebounds, 0 blocks, 1 steal, 6 turnovers, 4 fouls
NCD: 29 | 65 | 107 | 133 | Jared Dudley: 70 points (29-40 FG%, 11-16 3P%, 1-3 FT%), 4 assists, 5 rebounds, 0 blocks, 1 steal, 5 turnovers, 4 fouls

Jared Dudley's 70 points against the supposedly defensive-minded Memphis Grizzlies will get him into the record books. He scored 29 field goals on 40 attempts, and he scored eleven threes, only missing five more. In fact, he and Corey Harrington together outscored the entire Memhpis team in the Domination's 45 point blowout of the Grizz. "I am honestly not even sure how I did this against AK-47," Jared Dudley said after the game, still slightly in shock after looking at the box scores. "I didn't even think about my point total much. I knew I was having a big game, but it still came as a surprise when I saw I had 21 in the first quarter, and then at half-time, Zee Otoo told me I had 37- I was just stunned. So I kept on going. Me and Corey were in it together; he had 9 assists at half-time. Zee told us that they just couldn't stop us from doing our thing. So we played a two-man game almost the whole time on offense, and it worked out."

At the end of his interview, Jared Dudley added, "Oh, yeah, next time I face LeBron, I'll make sure he knows I have something on him- and Jordan too, for that matter. They each have career-highs of 69. I have 70."

LeBron scored 69 points on a quadruple-double in an All-Star Game two years ago.
