Re: The Pain Blazers | FREE AGENCY | D-Will, Gordon and Drag

I have no choice. I'm tempted to sign Nash, but I'm on my long term plans, and by the look of it, he'll retire when the season's end. And yes I'm now on a win-now mode and I hope we can make it to the Playoffs again. Retaining Batum is the main priority of this off-season.

Yes, yes. We'll see here the "what ifs" of some real life moves.

Sorry for the real slow updates, school is killing me.

    BLAZERS FORWARD STEVE NOVAK

The Portland Trail Blazers have sign free-agent forward Steve Novak to a multi-year deal.

Novak will receive a contract worth $ 3 million for two years.

Novak, 29, will join his 6th team of his entire career and played a significant role for the New York Knicks last season. Novak averaged
3.0 points a game shooting 46 percent and 47 percent beyond the three point line.

    Blazers roster now stands 13.

BLAZERS RETAIN NICOLAS BATUM AFTER MATCHING OFFER

    Nicolas Batum ain't going nowhere.

The Portland Trail Blazers matched Minnesota's three-year offer sheet worth $ 43.40 million deal for the restricted free agent, keeping
the 23-year old swingman in Portland just like GM Neil Olshey said they would all along.

Batum, who is entering his fifth season and averaged 11.4 points and 6.4 rebounds last year, and the Blazers also hit a road block in January,
when Portland declined to extend a long-term contract. The Blazers told Batum all along that they wanted to bring him back, but also wanted
the cap flexibility to make other moves.

I might have gone after Nash, since his salary would be coming off the books, allowing you to get a sensible replacement in free agency next year or promote Lillard. Solid moves nonetheless. Even with a 46 rating in 2K10, Novak kicked ass in that game, so hopefully he does the same for you now.

Too late for now, let's see how Felton will do. I don't have Lillard man, I've got the unibrow :P

It's a shame you didn't get that Nets' pick. You might've achieved your win-now ambitions sooner.

Hey everyone, I'm back. Got my internet connection back. I can find time to resume this. But I need your opinion, use the rosters here (Davis is on my team, not Lillard) or the real life ones? Thanks :)

Seems like I need to restart. My 2k12 is gone, I have 2k13 though. But it would be a pain in the ass to do the roster moves here in 2k13. So, I'm creating a new thread in the next few days. I had high hopes with this one :( Still thinking if I'll still go with Trailblazers or other team, since Lamrock just started his own and some other guys planning to use it.
