reneker wrote:Excuse the double post, but 14th pick in the draft, Ray Cer of the Sacramento Kings, has been sent to the D-League! The other NLSCers aren't setting the world on fire however a full update will be up at a later date.

Other NLSC rookie with the Kings, DaVonte Hughes, is still on the active roster.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
- December 31st, 2012

The '2012' phenomena passed with nothing special happening, and the NBA season certainly was not stalled! The Oklahoma City Thunder kicked off their title defense and the twenty-nine other teams aspired of the glory. New season, new players, same old excitement - nothing better than when the NBA season is in full swing.

All teams vied to impress at the start of the season, none more than the Miami Heat, who were disappointingly swept by eventual Eastern Conference champions the Boston Celtics. The Heat have made a solid start to the season, however the Chicago Bulls lead the East; ahead of Miami by just a half of a game. However, things are still the same - Kobe doesn't pass, LeBron isn't clutch and the Bobcats are terrible (lol NBA Memes facebook. The Cats are actually good!). Perhaps the biggest story of the season so far is of 2012 second overall pick Andrea Balistrieri. Currently averaging 20ppg, 4.2rpg and 3.7apg; Balistrieri has shown up his Italian counterpart Angelo Catinella who was picked at number one. If Andrea continues his amazing play, he is a lock for Rookie of the Year.

Also, Lamar Odom signed with the Mavericks and is rumoured to be traded. lol.

Western Conference:

    1) Denver Nuggets (7-2)
    2) Sacramento Kings (7-3)
    3) San Antonio Spurs (8-4)
    4) Dallas Mavericks (7-4)
    5) Los Angeles Lakers (4-3)

    10) Golden State Warriors (4-4)
    11) Minnesota Timberwolves (4-8)
    12) Phoenix Suns (3-7)
    13) Houston Rockets (5-11)
    14) New Orleans Hornets (2-8)
    15) Memphis Grizzlies (2-9)

Eastern Conference:

    1) Chicago Bulls (8-3)
    2) Miami Heat (8-4)
    3) Orlando Magic (7-4)
    4) Charlotte Bobcats (8-5)
    5) Philadelphia (8-5)

Thanks for all the comments guys, I'm not going to do a NLSCer recap thing because everyone sucks. The highest ppg by a NLSCer is 1.7 by JNett.

JNett, yeah the Grizz are horrendous. They should be great though, Rudy Gay is playing stellar ball, as with Mayo and Conley.

Dmastawwe, I'll get some pics up at the all-star break for you. You got brought back up to the big leagues after one game in the D-League when you scored like 12 points or something?

BallerSkillz, cheers buddy, thanks for the feedback.

I'll do the all-star break recap soon.
