3 out of 8 picks have been made

EDIT: 4 out of 8. Dropping a small hint from here: 1 PF, 1 C, 1 SF, 1 SG. These teams might be pretty balling.
Cruzerr wrote:There aint no rules tbh. You can choose any player, past or present. The ONLY thing that I actually RECOMMEND, not tell you, is that you choose really wisely: Most of you are undersized, so going with an SG might hurt you, when you go against somebody who picked a SF-PF. Your own choice.

"Come In!" screamed DeVos to Cruzerr.
"Hey boss, could I have a brief chat with you?"
"Certainly, what seems to be the problem?"
"Well, I want to talk to you about trading Hedo Turkoglu and Jameer Nelson. Jameer came in last night, drunk and covered in pizza or something, and screamed to me about a female prostitute, who he said was the sweetest ass he had ever seen. Hedo on the other hand came in with a pizza, telling me that he wont be practising and he is the greatest. I am sorry, but I can not work with these kind of men."
"Alright, so you want to trade them for whom?"
"Well, I was looking at the Bobcats, and their two pieces, Corey Maggette and Kemba Walker. Those two guys can provide a lot of scoring next to Dwight. Also, considering that they want Daniel Orton to their team, we could actually rob Tyrus Thomas and give em like..Jason Richardson or somebody."
"Hmmm...Not a bad idea. Let me get back to you."
"Alright, see what you can do."
*Later that day, Josh was watching TV, while drinking vodka*
Local news have confirmed that Hedo Turkoglu, Jameer Nelson, Daniel Orton and Jason Richardson are heading out of Orlando, as they have been replaced for Tyrus Thomas, Corey Maggette and Kemba Walker. Adding to that, sources have confirmed that the reason of this trade was that Orlandos GM, Josh Cruzerr, had been involved in an argument with Nelson and Turkoglu. All of these players will be debuting in their next games.
"How the fuck? How did he do that??" Suddenly, his phone rings. Like he expected, it was DeVos.
"Kid, dont ever think that I can not run shit. Now make this team a championship team. Got that?"
"Got it, Boss!"
[0-0] Orlando Magic (75) @ New Orleans Hornets (65) [0-0]
It might aswell be the start of the season, but Orlando was ready to make an impact.Hornets have always been a tough team, and with CP3 and West feeling better, Magic had 3 new faces in the starting lineup: Kemba Walker, Tyrus Thomas and Corey Maggette.
The teams got off to a really intense game, as both of them were pretty equal. Magic took a small lead from the start, and with the play of Dwight and Kemba, they held it really long. Ariza on the otherhand was the player, who was leading the charge at the Hornets front, seeming that Paul could not compete with anything. Magic were on full throttle and they never let go, extending the lead more and more and more.
Suddenly, things changed in a huge matter, as New Orleans got back in the forth quarter, tieing the game atleast 2-3 times. You could have seen that they wanted this game so bad, that winning it would have been a huge start. But with Dwight and Thomas doing some great rebounding and defensive work, Magic still held it. At the final minutes, Orlando still had the lead, and the Hornets had no choice of sending Maggette to the line, who ofcourse, hit his shots and sealed the game, starting off the season with a good win.

With the second game away, Orlando was ready to face the team that they traded with just earlier this week: Charlotte Bobcats. It was pretty clear to the eye who would be the winner, as a rebuilding team goes up against two-years ago been in the Finals team.
But, you would only think that. In actuality, Bobcats really held their own. The game was still lead by Magic the whole 3 quaters, but Bobcats were right on their heels. Players like Jason Richardson and DJ Augustin came up with some big plays. And before you know it, they actually tied in the forth.
Reality check was still in order, as Dwight had a his second double-double game this season, dominating badly. Dwights defense did close the game for them, but if Hedo would have not missed that last-second three, the game would have gone to OT. Still, Magic went away with a 69-66 lead, going back home to face the champs.

With the Magic feeling good, they proposed a "retro night" for the fans. So for that game, you could see Dwight and Dirk playing in old but great uniforms. The game was intense, till the very end.
Both teams had a huge amount of lead changes, as they were scoring from everywhere. Dwight had an off night on his rebounding stat, but he made it all back with scoring. But the deadly shooters of Dallas were too dangerous.
Both Stevenson and Terry had a fair amount of threes, with Dirk hitting fadeaways from every stand point. But the time they reached the forth, Arenas took off, and by himself, got the game back for Orlando.
5 seconds left on the clock however, Terry burned the defence and went for a three-hitting it perfectly, with 2.3 seconds left. Maggette was able to hit it, but the time they reviewed it, it was still a two, not a three. Magic sent Butler to the line one last time, and the defending champions came out with a 79-76 victory.

[2-1] Los Angeles Lakers (81) @ Orlando Magic (84) [2-1]
The big boys rolled into town, as Los Angeles Lakers took on the Magic. Kobe was stoked from the start of the game, but it did not show out that much, as Magic was still firing on full-throttle. As always, Dwight was leading the team.
But Lakers got the game closer quickly, Kobe was a killer and LA managed to actually take a lead at somepoint. But then, all hell broke loose. Howard went for a put-back dunk, that caused Gasol to sprain his ankle.
With missing a key player, Lakers were hurt inside. There was nothing to do, just take the game back. And so Magic did, as they came away with a 84-81 victory, showing their domination.

An all-around great team, the Portland Trail Blazers were the next to face the Magic. Portland however, came to play.
Yes, Magic did hold a lead until the forth quarter, when Roy exploded and took matters in to his own hands. With 5.3 seconds on the clock, Wallace was played for an open three, which he nailed, and took the game into their hands. Still, Magic
stroke back, as with 2.2 seconds left, Kemba Walker hit a fade-away three, to send the game to Over-Time.
In over-time, it was still pretty tense, neither teams let the other one get infront. But, deja vu happened again. This time, with less time. Roy played himself for a layup, to take the lead with two. But the next attack, Gilbert Arenas was left open for a three, which he nailed at the buzzer! Two buzzer-beaters in one game, as the Magic took the win 86-85.

After that tightly won battle against Portland, the 76ers rolled into town, and the crowd was packing for this one. Some great talent was to be seen, but it was a totally one-sided affair.
Yes, Orlando side. With Dwight failing to rebound, he did what he always does - scores like a beast. It did not help that Arenas, Maggette and Walker were behind him, and that Thomas was still grabbing rebounds in a high rate. Iguodala and
Holiday tried to stop it, but it was no use. It was just a dominating win, for sure.
In the forth, 76ers did post more points than the Magic, but there was no way for a comeback, as Orlando took their third straight at home, winning it 80-67.

MVP gets traded, Bulls get two great young-ones
You would think that the Chicago Bulls would never let go of D-Rose. Well, today in morning, Chicago signed on a deal, swapping Derrick Rose for Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins. As for the Kings side, they got a pretty great deal from this. They are still in rebuild mode, and with this trade, they might build the team around Derrick. However, looking on the Chicago side, they finally fixed their Shooting Guard problem, while losing a great Point Guard. Adding that, they got two great Centers now, and one of them is going to have to sit out some games.
In short:
Bulls get: Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins
Kings get: Derrick Rose and John Lucas
Starting Lineups:
Bulls: Watson/Evans/Deng/Boozer/Noah(Cousins)
Kings: Rose/Thornton/Salmons/Hickson/Dalembert
