Oh haha, thanks for the translation Andrew :P

Anywho, I might have another article up tomorrow. Question for the readers, what do you prefer more?

Detroit Express Magazine or Pistons.com articles?

I like both....something similar to Pistons.com is pretty normal. it's also easy to read and easy to create/edit

i say use that for the majority of your news

as far as the Detroit Express Magazine, i really like it because its different than most i've seen. very refreshing, but its also a little to complex/artsy for basic news
...maybe save that for special occasions?
like interview with Pistons that went to the all-star game
story about Pistons giving back to the community
story about Rodman getting into trouble
etc....other things like

....but that's mu suggestion

I second that idea. For smaller/daily updates go with Pistons.com, for in-depth features go with the magazine.

Sounds good.

_____

So it's established, Pistons.com will be for news, however Detroit Express will be for player articles and interviews. :)

Thank you for responding haha.

Yeah I thought it was a nice pickup, Kwame was an ok roleplayer as the backup-center, but now even though I don't have a back up "center" I have two high level bench players in Chris Anderson and Chris Wilcox to play center, rotating with Wallace.

I was never a Kwame fan, so yeah :P

Wilcox and Birdman are both PF's and I'm not changing that haha. I'm not moving either of them to C, I'm primarily playing them at PF but in games when Wallace needs a rest I'm going to have them rotating at C. :)

(Y) like the trade...Birdman played great during his contract year (2 years ago or so)...but has just been ok recently

either way...i love his game. hustle and high energy. i was also a wilcox fan when we was drafted by the Clippers

as a rookie we used to call him "Once-A-Game" because every game he played...there was always one play that just made everyone go WOW

i think u should still look for a 3rd string C though...a tall one...ukno, just in case?

birdman, wilcox, and even wallace are pretty small for C. trouble when u face guys like Shaq, Yao, Kaman, or any other 7 footer

I definitely like the move too. I bet the real Pistons would've loved to have made a move like that in real life, as it stands they're rid of Kwame anyway.

I've always loved defense more than offense. I've found that a block or a steal feels way more rewarding that a jump shot :P
So I like to have a balance of good offense and defense.

I've always thought that Anderson would have been an epic fit with the 1990 Bad Boy Pistons. He has that gritty, "get that shit out of here" attitude about him which suits them. It's what I'm trying to bring back to the team :D

That makes two of us then. :) A jump shot is easy, but blocking and stealing boosts your confidence offensively and defensively. (Y)

First Quarter
The quarter began with the home team, Detroit coming out running and gunning. Ben Gordon had a big quarter, scoring a third of the quarters points and four three pointers. Rudy Gay was fantastic throughout the quarter, scoring 10 points and he played phenomenal defense on Tayshaun Prince around the basket and the perimeter. Tayshaun had an amazing quarter (and game) through his passing. Tayshaun was the ball-carrier throughout the quarter as Rodney Stuckey had a somewhat off-game. The score at the quarter was 36-25, Pistons way.

Ben Gordon was on fire from deep in the first quarter

Second Quarter
The Grizzlies put up a good fight this quarter however they could not match to the combined inside presence of Charlie Villanueva and Ben Wallace whom together scored 20 of the teams total 28 points in the quarter. Villanueva was victim to a harsh foul by Marc Gasol whom too had a great quarter with 10 points. This foul caused a circus shot by Villanueva to go in the basket. After the foul, Villanueva pushed Gasol whom retaliated by pushing him back. Ben Wallace was seen about to come and join the altercation between Gasol and Villanueva however Pistons captain, Richard Hamilton held him back. Neither team was called for a technical. After a half the score was 64-46, once again in favour of the Pistons.

Third Quarter
The third quarter was one of Ben Wallace's finest defensive moments. Big Ben recorded 4 blocks and had 13 rebounds in the quarter. He constantly boxed out both Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph to pull down the boards. Coach Kuester told reporters that the reason for this was that he was fired up and wanted revenge on Gasol after the altercation with Villanueva. Zach Randolph however did have a great quarter, hitting all 5 of his free throws and scoring 12 points for the quarter. Tayshaun Prince was the ball-carrier throughout the game due to poor play by Rodney Stuckey and he shined with his passes. At the end of the quarter Prince had 9 assists to go with his 11 points. The score going into the final quarter of play was 87-66, in favour of the Pistons.

Fourth Quarter
The final quarter was the rising of the Birdman. Coach Kuester after playing Chris Anderson in spurts throughout the game decided to allow him to play the entire fourth quarter. Anderson, whom was recently acquired in a trade for Kwame Brown wanted his new coach to be proud of his and responded with a stat line of 14 Points on 7 for 8 shooting to go along with 2 blocks and a rebound. Ben Wallace added to his stat line by punching in a few more hammering dunks over a useless and out of faith Grizzlies team. The Pistons won the blowout game, 111 to 87.
