BIEDRINS IS A BEAST AS THE SUNS INKS A 3 WIN STREAK

Image

In the first game, the Suns received the strong Utah Jazz in Hawaii and with a 24-8 fourth quarter the Suns escaped with a 99-93 victory. The Latvian was unstappable. He scored a career high 35 points, he also had 9 rebounds. Steve Nash scored just 7 points, but dished out 19 assists in the game.
Deron Williams was a beast, scoring 28 in the game but he had only 2 in the 4th due to the pressure defense by Jared Dudley who run with him the entire final quarter.

Image

Biedrins destroyed the rim again as the Suns beat Denver 100-95. The Latvian Train scored 32 points and was almost unstappable in the paint. He also had 5 rebounds and 7 assists in the night.

Image

This time the Suns showed (finally) some defense allowing the Grizzlies to just 28 first half points as they handle an easy victory in Hawaii, 102-81. Biedrins led the game points for third consecutive time with 32 points and 9 rebounds. The Suns allowed Memphis to shoot just 38%. For the first time this season they held an opponent behind 40% from the field.

The curiously note here is that the Chinese point guard Yun Sue played a solid game. He had 15 points and 5 assists well outplaying Mike Conley. The Suns are trying to develope the 2.06m Point Guard so he can be a create a great mismatch of the bench, as happened last night

Oh my, facepalm at those trades.

(You declared war on me, so I'm not holding back  ).

You can't trade Hill. that's a rule. :cheeky:

Turkoglu for Biedrins is funny because if the Warriors were game for that Beans would be Raptor now.
And Miller and Chilldress can't be traded until december I think.

Oh, and chemnistry sucks.

That being said, good luck though. ;) Got a nice streak going there. (Y)

Your box scores show very low rebound numbers btw. I figured maybe high percentages but on the other hand, you held Grizz to 40 so plenty of rebs to grab there I suppose.

Superb wins. With Richardson, Nash, Miller around, you really have to run the offense with Biedrins? Great job, if that's the plan.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

• I know that the Hill trade was ugly, but I want to develope Morrison, Sun Yue and Dudley, so I needed some minutes for them
• The Childress trade you're right I think, he can't be traded hehe, but I think I got a upgrade. Miller is doing a good job.
• The chemistry is getting better, I'm trying to keep everybody happy and it's a bit difficult when you have a very, very deep bench
• The rebounding numbers are low, you're right, I'm just playing 8 minute quarters. Every CPU team is shooting me 50% from the field so I'm not getting so much rebounds. But in the last 2 games I'm finding how to defend better, specially against PG (I'm putting Jason Richardson against the best CPU player and then Jared Dudley). I'm trying to give Nash the worst because he's always beaten in 1 on 1.

Thanks :D

I'm doing an inside-out like play. I use Nash to get a head against the other guard and when the help arrives somebody is open. But with Biedrins I do a lot of pick and roll. That's why Nash is so important in my system, and that's why he's averaging almost 17 assist per game.
Richardson is more a shooter. When he attacks the basket he is stopped by one big man, so he passes to Biedrins or Lopez, they shoot or they find another guy who is open. In the latest games I'm playing a bit better, and scoring more.

And yes, I want Biedrins in the All Star game! He's a beast in defense.. If i can develope him into a decent offensive player he's going to be the White Version of Dwight Howard  And he's also 24, very young, he can develope a lot.

Saludos :D

STEVE NASH 31 AND 22 DISMANTLE CLIPPERS DEFENSE

Image

Steve Nash was struggling this year, averaging just 13 points a game, but last night he scored 18 first quarter points as the Suns took an early lead that never relinquished as they beat the Clippers 113-84. The 2 time MVP scored a season high 31 points along with 22 assists. He was a monster, and he couldn't be stopped by any Clipper. He shot 12-16 from the filed and 6-7 from deep. But he wasn't the best scorer of the game, Andris Biedrins had a game high 34 points with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

Baron Davis had a ugly night in defense, but he had a solid one in the offensive end, with 17 points and 18 assists, Kaman and Eric Gordon scored 15 points apiece.

FREE THROWS

• The Suns outscored LA 28-10 in the second quarter
• This 29 point rout was the biggest of the season
• The Suns has a 4 game winning streak
• Mike Miller went scoreless in 15 minutes. He didn't even take a single shot
• Adam Morrison scored 14 points from the bench, 6-12 from the field.

BALANCED ATTACK AND SOLID DEFENSE AS THE SUNS BEAT INDIANA

Image

A well balanced offense displayed by The Suns and a stingy defense in the fourth quarter was just enough to get the win 85-81 at Indiana. Jason Richardson led the team with 17 points as the Suns had 6 players scoring in double figures. Andris Biedrins had a tough matchup against Troy Murphy, scoring "just" 16 points but hauling 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Steve Nash, after exploding for 31 points had a rough nigth wit 6 points in 1-10 from the field, bu he dished 16 assists in the game.

From Indiana, Danny Granger led the game with 25 points while Roy Hibbert had 14 points and 11 rebounds.

FREE THROWS

• It wasn't the best day for Nash, shooting 1-10 from the field, but that only field goal was a jumper with 3 minutes left to put the Suns ahead by 4
• Biedrins had a double double
• The Suns are showing defense!!

THE WIZARD DISAPPEARED! SUNS OFFENSE POWER DISMANTLE WASHINGTON

Image

After playing last night in Indiana, the Suns showed that they have a great stamina as they showed tonight. Run Run Run... The Suns outscored the Wizards 114-97

Andris Biedrins led the game with 28 points and had 7 rebounds and 5 assists. He's having a carrer year by far. Nash rebounded from a ugly shooting night with 18 points and 23 assists (damn!). Robin Lopez contributed with 19 points and Hakim Warrick scored 13, most of them in fashion.

The Wizards were led by Arena's 25 and 10 assists, but he shot 0-7 from deep. Tracy McGrady scored 19 and Josh Howard had 23. But they fell well short to the Suns firepower.

FREE THROWS

• The Suns outscored the Wizards 33-21 in the final quarter, sealing the game
• The Suns had 45 assists in the night
• Phoenix shot just 8 three pointers, making 4. Nash was 3-5

Really I don't know, I'm using a low general setting (detail talkin) because using medium or better the jersey name disappears and is replaced by a curve line that goes from the neck to the low back. Pretty rare, but using this detail setting makes the numbers big., but I like them :D

Im trying to improve in every post. Now I have pictures, maybe I can do more in next posts

THE MATRIX IS BACK
SHAWN MARION RETURNS HOME IN 3 PLAYER TRADE

The Suns are glad to announce that Shawn Marion is back. The Suns got F Shawn Marion from Dallas in exchange of GF Mike Miller and F Jared Dudley.

The Hawaii Suns were searching for a defensive player to help with current struggles to stop opposite playmakers and they decided with Team Captain Steve Nash that a familiar face could be the answer. So the Suns pulled the trigger to get the athletic forward who they drafted back in 1999.

Both Miller and Dudley were unhappy in Phoenix. Miller due to being in the bench at the beginning of the season but he was having solid numbers. He was averaging 50% from deep and 52% from the field, but he was scoring just 7 points per game. Dudley, the defensive stopper of Phoenix, had good moments in defense, but he wasn't the same shooter as he was last season. He was shooting 43% from the field and a ugly 27% from deep.

Marion arrives to Hawaii after being the sixth man in Dallas, He was averaging 8 points and 6 rebounds per game. He will start the next game against Detroit

• NOTE: #31 was already being used by Rookie Gani Lawal, but he decided to change to #30. So The Matrix will wear again his #31

THE MARION EFFECT
SUNS HOLD THE SPURS TO JUST 61 IN HAWAII

Image

The Hawaii Suns used a 28-11 1st quarter and a 49-25 lead at the half to surprise the NBA Land by holding thier public enemy San Antonio Spurs to just 61 points in the game. The game finished 83-61.

Shawn Marioin was the MVP of the game with 20 points (15 of them in the first quarter), 6 assists and 3 steals. He guarded Spurs PG Raymond Felton (who they adquired in exchange of Manu Ginobili) and that dismantled the entire balance of the Spurs. Andris Biedrins had 20 points too, and also had 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. He dominated Tim Duncan the entire game. Steve Nash had 18 points and "only" 9 assists due to the pressure put by the Spurs.

Jefferson led the Spurs with 17 points while Tim Duncan was held to just 10 points in 4-11 from the field.

FREE THROWS

• The Suns held the Spurs to 61 points. Just amazing
• Also they held the Spurs to 25 first half points, while the Suns scored 28 in the 1st quarter alone
• Tony Parker didn't play the game due to an ankle injury
• The Suns had 30 assists in the game, and 11 blocks

NEW NET NEEDED
THE SUNS TORCHES NEW JERSEY

Image

"The one who punches first, punches twice". That seems to be the in the head of the Hawaii Suns as they rally to a 32-16 1st quarter and 72-31 half time lead as they raped the New Jerst Nets 130-81

Shawn Marion is showing is worth in the fastbreak. He had a game high 33 points, along with 9 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks. He had most of that points on fastbreaks who where commanded by Steve Nash, who had 16 assists in the game. PF Andris Biedrins is having a career year, he had 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists... He also sank a 3 pointer... We need to say anymore?

For the Nets, Jason Terry, adquired this season, had 19 points on 7-22 from the field while Devin Harris had 10 points and 9 assists. He was 4-13 from the field. He was guarded by Marion by most of the game.

The note here is that Hedo Turkoglu played again against the Suns, he was traded to New Jersey in exchange of Courtney Lee just 3 days ago. He was placed in the trading block by the Warriors because "He was an awful locker room presence". He had 9 points on 4-14 shooting

FREE THROWS

• 130 points scored in Hawaii are a season high for the Suns
• Nash had only 2 points
• Biedrins hit a 3 pointer
• Marion is playing awesome... Why I didn't trade for him before

What's the point of moving the team to Hawaii in the story if you're clearly still playing in Phoenix (and haven't changed the jersey or courts)?

JOSH CHILDRESS ARRESTED IN AMERICAN AIRLINES CENTER FIRE

Miami, Florida. NBA basketball player Josh Childress was arrested this morning in Miami after a judge found concrete evidence to connect the player with the fire ocurred last October at the American Airlines Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Police found a videotape were Childress was found smoking in the Suns locker room (which is against the NBA rules) and then he left the building while throwing the cigar to a curtain. He then left the building. The fire was recognised about 15 minutes later.

The rumour around the NBA is that Childress asked the Suns to trade him after the incident for "personal reasons" that he never specified. Right now he's playing for the Miami HEAT.
Comissioner Stern has yet to announce if the NBA is going to take actions against the player.

Childress, 27, is averaging 8 points per game this season for the Miami HEAT. He was adquired in exchange of Mike Miller before the season started. He can face up to 10 years in prison.

Commisioner David Stern announced today that current Miami HEAT player Josh Childress will be suspended indefinitely for being acussed for the fire ocurred last October in the American Airlines Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

The NBA family is sad for the news we heard today. But we must be fair with all the parts and we decided to suspend Josh Childress until all this case is solved. This is a very tough situation, but we are looking forward to find the truth

A videotape was found by the Police and it seems that he was taped smoking in the Suns locker room minutes before the fire. He left the building minutes after the fire was recognised but it seems that he threw the cigar to a courtain. He's now acussed for starting the fire. It's not known if it was intentional or accidental.

Childress, 27, was adquired by the Suns in and sign and trade deak with Atlanta for a 2nd round pick. He signed a 5 year, 34 million contract but after the incident he was surprinsingly traded to Miami for Mike Miller. The Suns announced tha trade but they don't explained exactly why. Childress didn't talked to the press since arriving in Miami.

The Suns were forced to move to Hawaii until the AAC is repaired from the damage.
