I have tried him with Jazz and he has the strenght in playing yet don't have enough stamina. Pargo is good in assits, yet I am still working on how to make him some points... thanks for the feedback.

Cavs' streak continues with a home victory against the Jazz

The Cleveland Cavaliers continued their impressive performance at the beginning of the season as they beat Utah Jazz in their second encounter with a score of 112-98. The Jazz started with a 10 point lead at the 1st Quarter but then the Cavs gets back at the 2nd after an 8-0 run that let them end the 1st half with 32-34. 3rd Quarter just turned out to be a disaster as both team missed each shots they made. Fourth quarter, the cavs finally took the lead with some help from Miller and RJ, with assists from Pargo.

Mike Miller once again did an amazing show as he contributed 36 points in the game in which 8 of it are outside from the field while both RJ and Antawn Jamison took care the inside and made a combined 13 Rebounds. Jannero Pargo also made a fantastic debut in Ohio with 6 points and 7 assists and let once again prove that the Cavs' bench is pretty strong. Utah Jazz also did much effort especially Raja Bell as he made 20 points and 6 Rebounds.

A great performance by Raja Bell, did he just slammed the board?

A good 4-game stretch there, other than the loss at Milwaukee. Mike Miller is becoming the LeBron James of your team. You really excel at 3 pointers, Mike Miller going 8/13? That's amazing. If I play Live 10, I can only make 8 threes as a team effort.

BTW, that Mo Williams pic is slick! That's a nice contest by D-Will, and Mo still made it? (Y)

.PorkyJoker. - thank you for showing some interest....

Axel13 - I don't know, I am just getting into Mike Miller's 3 points. It is much easier for me to let him do the three's rather than Mo Will. I thought this is going to be RJ's team, but it turns out to be Miller's.... and Jamison's when it is sim'd due to his high rating :D

I'll play against Pacers and Celtics today and try to post it later...

Richard Jefferson scores 39 points in a tough defeat against Pacers

Cavs runs short and loses to Pacers

The Cleveland Cavaliers had another tough loss (103-105) when they visited Indianapolis to face Danny Granger, TJ Ford and the rest of the Pacers. It was a bad start for the Cavs after several missed shots were made by Mike and Mo off court while RJ does his job as a swingman and struggles inside the paint against the defense of Danny Granger and Troy Murphy. Second quarter was another upset play by the Cavs as they continue to rally up from behind. The Second half then just turned out to be great for the Cavs as they made a 14-4 run against the Pacers that let them get close against the home team and reached to a tie. The final seconds of the game was crucial for both teams as they exchange shots in opposite courts. At the remaining 7 seconds of the game, RJ failed to get his jump shot straight to the ring that let the Pacers win the match.

It should be Richard Jefferson's night as he just added 39 points, 3 Rebs and 3 Blocks in his stats while Mike Miller contributed 19 points, 4 assits and did 3/8 3 point FG. Kwame Brown also made some impressions tonight with 8 Rebounds and 3 blocks.

Player of the Game:
TJ Ford
26 points, 8 assists, 13/26 FG

Troy Murphy
21 points, 17 rebounds,
Leaders:

Points - Richard Jefferson - 39 points, TJ Ford - 26 points
Rebounds - Kwame Brown - 8 Rebounds, Troy Murphy - 17 Rebounds
Assists - Maurice Williams - 5 Assits, TJ Ford - 8 Assits

Beware of Varejao!

Play-Off Rematch turns out to be classic

The Cavaliers prepared their game after losing to Indiana as they face the Celtics. The game turned out to be another classic encounter between two formidable teams but at the end, it turns out to be a deja-vu for the Cavs as they came up short again and lost to Boston (101-102) on their home turf. Rondo played well earning himself 41 points and let Garnett rest for more minutes. "We had two consecutive tough losses but we are just starting, and we're still look strong after our defeat", Mike Miller said.

Player of the Game:
Rajon Rondo
41 points, 3 Rebounds, 7 assits

Leaders:
Points - Mike Miller - 30 points., Rajon Rondo - 41 points.
Rebounds - Antawn Jamison - 9 rebounds, Paul Pierce/ Jermaine O'Neal - 5 rebounds
Assists - Mike Miller - 5 ast., Rajon Rondo - 7 ast.

Two really disappointing losses there, especially the Pacers one. A missed game-winner is something that can haunt you for the rest of your life. Good performances by RJ and Mike, but if Rondo ever scores 41 points in real life, that'll be when LeBron returns to Cleveland.

Blake Griffin goes to Ohio!

Blake Griffin goes to Ohio

The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced their blockbuster trade before the month ends, they have finalized a trade between LA Clippers and they got the 2009 1st Draft Pick Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan in exchange of Jamario Moon, Kwame Brown and Leon Powe. Blake Griffin failed to play last season with the Clips because of a serious injury and now is trying to return back in the scene with a new team. Griffin had a total 78 points, 63 Rebounds and 32/70 Field Goals in his first 14 games with the Clippers. "I am very happy with the trade that let Griffin and Jordan land here in Ohio! We added some young guys in the team that could really contribute their talents", Cleveland's General Manager, Chris Grant said in their press conference. "This is a great opportunity to showcase my talent and prove to you all that I am now in a pretty good shape." Blake Griffin answered when the media asked him how he feel being with Cleveland. Now questions are starting to revolve around the Cavs, who will start between Griffin and Jamison and who will back up Richard Jefferson after losing Jamario Moon. Rumors, also start to go around the NBA that Cleveland General Manager is still have some talks with New Orleans for a possible Okafor - Jamison trade.

if the Cavs had somehow acquired Griffin pre-"Decision" maybe LBJ would've stayed; alas, the world will never know...

anyhoo, like the idea of a Jefferson/Griffin combo; should be good fun (Y)

Solid acquisition. Blake might have to live under Jamison's shadow, but you're getting rid of a bust in Kwame Brown. DeAndre Jordan's not bad either, although he shot under 40% from the FT line this season. (N)

Glad you liked the acquisition guys, I badly want Okafor in the team but the Hornets think it is to early for them to give him up for Jamison. Oh well, I got plan B :D. For now, my starting line up will be Griffin/Varejao, Jamison/Griffin, RJ, Miller and Mo. Will play against Detroit later.

Detroit fell from the hands of the Cavaliers

The alley-oop coming from RJ to Grifin is one of the big higlights of the game

Cavs blew the house down at Detroit

Tonight was the Cavalier's first game with their new acquisition, Blake Griffin as they visit Detroit Pistons with a great victory (111-95). Both Richard Jefferson and Antawn Jamison just blew the house down with their big plays that let the Pistons surrender at the end. Antawn Jamison did a double-double while RJ made 22 points. While the two made some impressions, Blake Griffin failed to do so after several missed lay ups at the first half and bounces back at second as he was like finally back in his breathing. "There are no disappointments in Griffin's performance tonight, I know he is still tired after travelling from LA to Ohio and then to Detroit, but he still has the heart to play the game and played a good game", Byron Scott praised the rookie after the game. Griffin did 16 points,7/11 FG, and 6 rebounds which is still a good stat coming from a man with a "jet-lag". Mo Williams also have a good game, contributing 16 points, with 4/5 3pt FG, and 8 assits. On the other side, both Rip Hamilton (25 pts., 6 ast.) and Rodney Stuckey (15 pts., 7 ast.) showed a well effort performance.

Players of the Game:
Image
Antawn Jamison - 20 Points, 10 Rebounds

Image
Richard Jefferson - 22 Points, 6 Rebounds, 6 Assits

Leaders:

Points: Richard Jefferson - 22 pts., Richard Hamilton - 25 points
Rebounds: Antawn Jamison - 10 rebs., Ben Wallace - 11 rebs.
Assists: Mo Williams - 8 ast., Rodney Stuckey - 7 ast.

Mo just denied one of Rip's big fast breaks

Impressive win. Griffin's numbers weren't too shabby at all. Should have changed him back to his college number 23, just for that added LeBron spite. ;)

Good stats for Blake on his first game. I always seem to have trouble winning at Detroit, I think it's their arena, the mix of red and blue isn't good for my eyes. That Mo block is impressive, especially since he denied Rip.

Axel13- I am fine with their arena, I really hate is the old sixers arena, glad they changed their logo and their arena.

Lebron James speaks out with what's currently happening in Miami

Lebron James told the media in a special press conference held in Miami that their team is still on the "Adjustment Period" that let them trail below the standings. "We are still on to knowing the role of each other, besides a month only passed, we can go back on the top in no time." James boasts in front of the press with Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade beside him. Lebron James also express how happy he was when asked about the current status of his former team in the season standing. "They did a pretty good job, ranking themelves on the top. Looks like they are a strong team even without me." The King continues to praise his former team but then he turned silent when someone asked him about Richard Jefferson's current role in the team, as his replacement. "Well, he didn't showed much in the team. You can't compare him with me. With all do respect, RJ is a great athlete but there is a big difference between me and him."

Blake Griffin's new goal: Become the best rookie

The Cavalier, Blake Griffin is on a quest of earning himself the title, "Rookie of the Year" after getting himself back inside the ring after failing to do it last season. Now, Griffin wants to continue doing some impressions just like he did in his college years that is why he is the 1st Draft Pick of 2009. This month, the young guy averaged 6.3 points a game. Can he reach John Wall's stats and beat him next month at the Eastern Rookie of the Month race.

Wow 37 PPG for Timmy D? That's incredible. And him averaging less than a block per game is also unbelievable. Good job on being second place in the East. You've done an excellent job with this team.
