MIAMI, FL - After two straight blowout losses, Dwyane Wade decided he had seen enough and decided to take matters into his own hands.
Wade scored 15 points on 6-of-6 shooting in the first half and finished with 27 points on 12-of-14 from the field and dished out 7 assists to lead the Heat to an 87-71 rout against the Portland Trailblazers. This came after he score only 10 points in a humiliating defeat their last game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
This was also the first game after a very questionable trade that had Heat fans scratching their heads. Chris Quinn, Dorrell Wright and James Jones were traded for the very much maligned Jerome James from Chicago.
Jermaine O'Neal added added 16 points and 7 rebounds and Chris Tiu played extended minutes and put up 13 and 5 assists. Starting guard Mario Chalmers has been limited by an ankle injury.
Miami established a lead as high as 22 points in the first half and never trailed after that. They cooled off a little in the second half as Portland went on a run that cut it to 10 points twice. However, timely hits from different Heat players extended the lead every time. The Heat bench scored 33 points compared to Portland's 20.
Tayshaun Prince, whom Portland acquired earlier in the season in a trade with Detroit, led the Blazers in scoring with 13 points. Brandon Roy was limited to 12 points on 5-of-14 shooting, and Steve Blake scored 11 on 5-of-18. As a team Portland shot 41% while Miami shot 55%.
Jerome James made his debut, playing 2 minutes and grabbing 2 boards.

HEAT ACQUIRE MBAH A MOUTE![]()
MIAMI, FL - The Heat have announced that they have acquired Luc Richard Mbah a Moute from the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for center Joel Anthony.
Anthony averaged 2.4 points, 2.2 rebounds and shot 62.5% from the field in 5 games. Mbah a Moute, the 2nd year pro out of UCLA, has appeared in all 5 Milwaukee games, averaging 6.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks.
MBah a Moute will likely backup Udonis Haslem, adding more depth to the power forward position, but can also play the small forward spot, indicating that Michael Beasley and Quentin Richardson might be on short leashes due to their erratic play.
Mbah a Moute will be joining the team as it goes on the road to take on the Detroit Pistons.

DETROIT, MI - Dwyane Wade score 28 points and shot 9-of-11 from the field and as a team Miami shot 54% but still found a way to lose to the Detroit Pistons, 93-87.
The Heat scored 52 points at halftime, but were only held to 35 in the second half. A cold third quarter turned a 52-51 halftime lead into a 79-67 deficit heading into the third quarter. Miami played solid defense in the fourth and cut the lead to 88-82 with under a minute remaining.
Miami forced a stop but Michael Beasley's pass to far ahead from Wade to handle and gave Detroit the ball back. A jumper by Richard Hamilton sealed Detroit's win.
Ben Gordon led Detroit in scoring with 19 points and Hamilton scored 18. Both players shot a combined 11-of-33. Chris Wilcox scored 16 points.
Jermaine O'Neal scored 12 points but only grabbed 3 rebounds. Udonis Haslem also got only 3 rebounds while scoring 11. Luc Mbah a Moute made his debut and scored 8 points, pulled down 2 boards and dished out 3 assists.
Beasley struggled, scoring only 2 points on 1-of-5 shooting. Not much incentive for the Heat to offer a new contract to the free agent at season's end.
"We were making shots all game, just not when it counted," Wade said after the game. "Some calls were suspect."
Detroit attempted 33 free throws, making 29, while Miami shot 17-of-18. Wade sat out most of the first half with foul trouble.
HEAT COME TO TERMS WITH SUN YUE
MIAMI, FL - The Miami Heat have come to terms on a 10-day contract with guard Sun Yue. This move is in anticipation of the D-League stint of guard Chris Tiu after their game against the Boston Celtics on November 28. The Heat's D-League team's first game is on December 1st.
Tiu's D-League stint is part of his contract clause which he agreed to in order to develop his skills more.
Sun played with the Los Angeles Lakers last year, appearing in only 10 games, averaging 0.6 points in under 3 minutes of action.
Before coming to the NBA last season, Sun played for the Beijing Olympians from 2003-2008. In his final year with the club he averaged 13.5 points per game, 6 rebounds per game, 10.5 assists per game, 1.9 steals per game, and 2 blocks per game.

Signing Yue seems like a good try but he has never proven himself. I dont think hell find his way into your rotation.
