yep, I hate those stupid NBA player pics for prospects too....it can't be that hard to just have actual dna face on it....I'd actually prefer blank pic than copy of player....

anyways, congrats on finally getting a win, reminds me of my old Bobcats Live '05 days....nice pics & presentation also....also very nice & realistic trade (Y)

I actually do like the trade of Stephen Jackson to the Clippers, re-uniting him with Baron Davis....the LA Warriors are coming together nicely....shame they couldn't sign Kelenna Azuibuike (N) Looking back at previous week's "Around the League", Clippers weren't even mentioned in mix to go after Stephen Jackson, so they came out of nowhere....lots of CPU trades though, I'm wondering if it's got to do with the trade logic of dumping players in the last year of their deals (Gordon, Jackson, etc) earlier in season than near trade deadline....

(top) Curry and Milicic had different jerseys but played a huge part of there new teams. (Bottom) Warrick is making an immediate impact as the "GO TO" scorer for the Knicks bench.

Knicks defeat Grizzlies and secure two game winning streak
Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008

The "New Look" Knicks seem to be singing a different tune lately especially after a trade that sent big man Curry to Memphis. The Grizzlies sent two young talents to New York. The main players involved played Sunday and had an impact on the game. Marbury grabbed Player of the Game honors. Marbury stated " I felt very comfortable out there." The question is, can Marbs do this day and day out? That is still left to be seen. This game was a game of runs. The Knicks lead the majority of the game, but the fiesty Grizzlies took an early lead in the fourth. But after some key misses from Gay, the Knicks took over and stretched the lead. Key free throws from Marbury put the game away and gave the Knicks win number 2 in as many games. The Knicks will travel to our nation's Capital to play the Wizards.

Yeah man, Marbury is fun to control in this game because he can score on most other PG in the league. He's now the NY version of Steve Nash. I think the Curry trade has made a huge difference because now I have a legit bench that can hold there own. And I have a Center who is mobile.

Jing wrote:Man so many new faces on the Knicks

Just 2 new faces! LOL

nba_baller wrote:19 assists?!

Did anyone ever question Marbury's talent? Just his heart and when his heart is right, he's a solid player. I've read that 2K's assist logic is a little messed up, therefore the high assists stats for both teams.

I agree, solid player for what I need from him. his offensive game has been impressive. Even surprised me.

Man, Eddy Curry sure has a big body but a tiny head...
The screens are just sexy! Too bad I cant run 2k9 on my PC... Anyways great job so far, and I love that you are not benching Starbury unlike irl... He is just misunderstood I think.. :D

And you're a month into the season. By the time next season rolls around you'll probably have less than half of the original players on the roster

Appreciate it man, good luck with your dynasty as well. Too bad you can't do a 2k chise.

besides looking to take Marbury, I'm going to stick with this team. I actually took Marbury off the trading block because i like my team now. not to say, if the right trade came a long...I'd think about it.

Yeah dude screen shots are looking really good, what graphics card are you running?

Darko makes me want to vomit!! Nah hes not that bad I just think hes an idiot, he could have stayed with the Magic and played beside the best big man in the League but he demanded a stupidly high salary paying him 10x his worth so good riddance IMO, I would ruch rather over pay Rashard Lewis than Darko.

Anyway I like the Mag cover for SI, its those little things that you add that really make your dynasties stand out (Y)

Nice recap. Warrick is a beast. You shouldnt trade Marbury since his contract is coming off the books anyway. He can still help you this season (at least in the game he can, otherwise this guy is a sucker).

Keep it up !
