I'm probably doing Chandler's blog throughout the season, cause he actually has a blog on NBA.com

That's nice. Btw, can I use your recap style in my dynasty ? Making mine takes like 2 hours and takes fun out of the game too, okay ?

    J.J AT THE BUZZER

Man, the Orlando game. The guy has such a will-power. He plays like 8 minutes for
Orlando, but has such confidence. Like in his Duke days. First he earned a trip to line
and then burned us at the buzzer with a triple. CP3 had a great game in the defeat.
He found me a couple of times in the final frame. Had like 14 assists in that game.
He does his scoring throughout the start of the game. Also Peja had some nice plays
down the stretch. Our bench was way less productive then Orlando's. But the bench
wasn't our biggest problem, Lewis was. He's been great in Orlando. Averaging
like 25-9-9 this season. He killed us also, despite we kept him to just 2 points in
the final frame. I was proud to keep Dwight from another double-double. We still
lead the west right now. We're pretty confident about out situation and roster
    stability.

    BACK ON THE WINNING ROAD

It was a sucky kind of special game for us. The Seattle game. We failed to make even
one three-pointer on 6 attempts. But we had 45 free throws attempts compared
to 18 by the Sonics. We kept Durant to just 7 points on seven shots, so that was
nice. CP3 was once again the guy for us. He had some key steals late. And had
like 10 foul shots also. He's had an awesome season. I only have one problem
with the team. I feel like I'm not contributing. I average 5 shots a game. I have
some troubles also with my shooting percentages. Shooting under .500 is bad for
    a big guy like me.

    CP3 EARLY MVP RUNNER-UP

We're 11-2 right now, and the main cause of this is CP3. It kinda' rimes with MVP..
You know, CPThre-eee and MV-Peeee. The end is confusing. He's in the top 10 this
year in scoring, assists and steals. He's the league leader in 4th quarter assists.
That's when all the action happens. I guess you can say, about our team, our motto
is "Where CP3 Happens." He has a tough competitor in Tim Duncan, whose Spurs are
also having a good start. They are also in double-digits in the win column. I think CP3
deserves it more. We just have to keep our wins coming.

Damn that sucks that you lost to JJ and the Magic at the buzzer. JJ is such a scrub in real life (well in the NBA). Also Loving the blog, very unique way of recapping! (Y)

Fri Apr 18, 2008 5:20 pm

Best idea so far in dynasty mode with the blog (Y)

Fri Apr 18, 2008 8:12 pm

very unique (Y) looks like you are a regular guest on NBA.com. There too is Chandler's blog, you've must been taking inspiration from there, good job. It always sucks to lose at the end of regulation, specially in final seconds...though luck, you'll get them next time.

Sat Apr 19, 2008 12:48 am

JJ isn't a scrub. He just never gets minutes.

Absolutely loving the blog idea. Its great to see creativity in this section; especially when done as well as this.

Props. (Y) (Y)

I really loved JJ when he was with Duke, too bad the MAgic never really gives him playing time (in real life)..

Nice win against the Sonics although it was an ugly game! (fg shooting was horrible for both teams)

The infinite battle between CP3 and Deron.

    PAUL'S 20-20

I doubt Utah regrets picking Deron at 3, but CP3 won the battle between them a
couple days ago. Chris carried us the entire game. We had to play catch-up,
behind by 6 with the final 12 minutes ahead. But CP3 prove, why he's an early
MVP candidate. He had 10 times at half-time and didn't stop there. He had like 7
assists in the final frame, playing with our bench. Wells came in good. The rest
was just not there and coach put us back in. West had a massive "poster" on Carlos,
that got us going. We got some defensive stops at the end and finished it off with
free throws. Deron still had a pleasant performance with 36 points. Him finishing
with 3 assists was quite extraordinary. Chris's 20-20 is another chapter on his
MVP campaign. If he and we as a team keep this up, he will hoist the MVP award.

    ARMSTRONG'S SEASON DEBUT

The Clippers game came down to stops, which worked out great for us. We kept
them with only 2 fled goals in the final frame, mostly thanks to our deep bench,
where another youngster on our team, Hilton, saw his first good minutes this season.
It was just 7 minutes, but still. He contributed well with 6 points and 7 boards.
Thanks to him we won the boards by eleven. I think we should give him more
playing time. Andersen's return is taking much of his playing time, but i think we
    can still use him more.

RACE FOR TOP OF THE LEAGUE

We are 13-2 now, the Suns are right behind us with 12-2 and the Hawks are 11-3.
The Hawks are a big surprise in the Eastern Conference, just like we are in the west.
We play them next week, where we have a little more off days. Only 2 games. We
also have a game with Minnesota at home. We already have beaten them once on
their home floor. However, we face the Hawks in Philips Arena, where they haven't
gain a defeat yet. We need to be prepared.

Nice couple wins. Incredible matchup between Deron and CP3! Although I think you meant to say his 3 assists were quite ordinary not extraordinary.. Unless you were saying it was surprising he got so little.. Small detail...

CP3 with 24 and 20! Incredible. Your stats are pretty realistic which is awesome. Keep it up! (Y)

Mon Apr 21, 2008 4:57 am

Well, it's not every night Deron has just 3 assists. So i guess it's extraordinary. At least that what it means in my dictionary.

Mon Apr 21, 2008 11:28 am

Oh just noticed this, You have the Seattle Box score instead of the Clippers one, just letting you know so you can fix this.

Facing the first losing streak of the season.

    JEFFERSON'S 21 ASSISTS.. WHAT?

Our last meeting with the T-Wolves, i held Al to just 12 points. This time i did even
a better job. He had just 8 points. But how the hell he had 21 dimes, I can't get
over that. You expect Chris or guys like Nash and Deron to get 21 assists, but a
post-guy like Jefferson? Well, i remember to see a box score, when Wilt had 21
assists. We did often double-team Al and I guess they had some jumpers wide open.
But it still doesn't make sense to me. To top it off, we lost. For just the third time
this season. By a point. Our last play couldn't go much worse. We lost the ball passing
it and we didn't have the time to commit a foul. The correct play would've been just
let Paul isolate. But a immediate double came and he had to give it up. The rest
    is history.

LACK OF TEAM EFFORT AT ATLANTA

With four days rest before the Hawks game, who were 13-3, just like us, we watched
hours of video material from the Minnesota game. Trying to avoid stupid mistakes.
But it didn't help. In fact, we were worse then in Minnesota. There's no bright side
to this ugly, ugly defeat. We are now a game behind them. Well, i guess them being
in the East is a little relief. We scored 10 points in the final frame - that's not getting
it done. We weren't able to make defensive stops or execute offensively. We failed
to knock down open shots. Peja had a good night. He was probably the only one,
to fight to the end. If you see, that Chris Paul has 6 assists, then there's obviously
something wrong. It was by far our worst game this season.

    STRUGGLING FROM THE FLOOR

I have been assigned a new personal coach, to work on my post-play. I shot 27%
from the filed these two games. That's unacceptable. For me, my coach and most
importantly - my team. But i think i can change. As soon as i keep getting touches
offensively, I think I'll be fine.

We'll that's it for today. Gotta go to practice and work on my game. Thanks for reading.

Wow damn, Al Jefferson 21 assists?!? EA.... Anyways, tough losses, but Atlanta is 14-3 now?? Damn... although I don't think anyone ever feels fortunate to be playing in the West to only avoid Atlanta (since they are good in this alternate story), I mean c'mon the West is still much much tougher. Keep this up! (Y) (Y)

Wed Apr 30, 2008 10:46 am

21 ASSISTS?! DAAAYYYYYUUUUUMMMMM!
Stupid EA. Hehe. Anyway, you fought back good but it wasn't enough.
Nice read, you got this next team though. ;)

Wed Apr 30, 2008 3:37 pm

Reading from Chandlers blog makes this dinasty really nice (Y)
Anyway tough losses, especially the one with the t-wolves by one point :?
Hope this 2 in a row wont make your team lose their confidence!

    OUR CURRENT SITUATION

We're comfortable now with 35-14. But, we've had some struggles. We went
7-7 in January, mostly cause Chris was out with a leg injury. Now just the other
night, Wells got hurt. We don't have further information on his circumstance
right now. But we are doing better to start February. We've won 5 straight and sit
on the top of the latest power rankings. We're two games behind San Antonio
for the top seed of the Western conference. We have two games till the All-Star
break, so we might catch them. We'll sure try. I had a 22-15 game, which I'm really
proud of. West exploded for 54, when Paul was out. Paul had 32 points, 8 boards
and 15 Assists against the Spurs - a game we won.

    ALL-STAR BREAK

We just heard from the coach, who will have his hands full in the All-Star Weekend.
To all our surprise, Chris Paul wont play in the All-Star game. I mean, c'mon!
He plays so great. I posted his statline against te Spurs above - not an All-Star,
eh? But i guess the coaches didn't think the same way. At least Peja and Julian
will participate in front of the home crowd in the 3PT Shootout and Slam Dunk
contest respectively. Julian, Thaddeus wont be in the Rookie-Challenge either.
It's weird, cause Josh Boone got in. I don't have anything against him, but he
averages under three points a game. Both our guys average more. I will fly to
vacation to the Bahamas. Me and my wife need to take some rest.

    BYE CARNEY AND BOWEN!

In January, we had to say goodbye to two great players - Ryan Bowen and Rodney
Carney. Coach Scott told us, why Carney was traded. That wasn't even the weird
part. Philly wanted him back! They sent our GM a mail and him and Scott discussed
it. Ever since, Julian is playing more and better. In return we got Philly's 1st Round
draft option. They are 24th in the league. We'll hopefully get a good guy from the
draft. Ryan was a great energy guy. He hustled for open balls and shared his wisdom
with us in the locker room. We got Casey Jacobsen, a shooting specialist. It's hard
to see guys back up and fly away. I hope to see Ryan, when Memphis comes
to town. He was injured the last time and didn't fly here with the team.

    AROUND THE LEAGUE

Our trades were minor to compare what other teams did. My good friend, Bobby
Jackson, who we traded to Houston, had to move again. This time next to Ryan
Bowen - to the Grizzlies. Yesterday, Nene was dealt to the Jazz for Mehmet.
Lebron got another shooter next to him, Troy Murphy, who was dealt for Zydrunas
Ilgauskas. But the Cavs gave up one shooter in "Boobie" Gibson, who was traded
to the Wolves for a draft option. The Wolves are dead last in the league, so the
trade may come in handy for the Cavaliers. Anthony Parker was dealt, also Nick
Collison will be forced to move. I don't like it. The whole trading business. Sure,
I was traded, but these guys like C.J Miles and others who were dealt, don't
get much playing time and are just forced to move. With their families and kids.
