whoa crap - that's indy's Danny Granger and Wiz Caron Butler! not sure why i didn't catch that first time i read; i def need more sleep

nice trades 'rulez; but thought you were looking to draft for more size? maybe try for a legit big man like NY's Curry, NO's Chandler or Philly's Dalambert? i know neither Grang/Butler would match up well w/say Tim Duncan or Amare w/o getting posterized

Well Granger plays power foward in NBA live and is pretty big. But I'm starting him at small foward so I have Andrea Bargnani, Harrington and Granger up front with Richardson and Davis. I haveButler coming off the bench. Goal is to have Butler win 6th man award. Butwhen Iorginally made both trades, I was going retrade both players, but we'll have to see how it works out. Right now we have AMAZING chemistry so yea.

Week 1
l 0-0 @ home l 2-0 road l 2-0 record l
------------------------------------------

The Warriors routed the Rockets 119-71, but I accidentally didn't intervene so I don't have any stats or facts from the game. In Game 2 vs. the Jazz the Warriors blew open the game during the 4th quarter winning the wuarter by 11. Baron Davis led the Warriors with 32 points and in new acquistions Danny Granger and Caron Butler both contribured. Granger had 20 points, 8 reobunds and 5 assists and Butler had 13 points off the bench. All in all a solid beginning week for the Warriors who are notorioius for starting off poorly (well in my franchises they have).

------------------------------------

The Warriors started off the week strong winning a close thriller against Amaré Stoudamire and his Sonics. Baron Davis led the way with an incredible 40 points against their former Pacific Division rivals. Caron Butler came off the bench to score 15 points, but only on 3-11 shooting. In an odd scheduling move, the Warriors faced the Phoenix Suns twice, both in Phoenix. The first game between them the Suns won easily going up by as many as 23 led by Shawn Marion who had 21 points and 14 rebounds. In the 2nd game between the teams Baron Davis led the Warriors to the victory with 32 points and 10 assists. Although the Warriors dropped their first game of the year, they got their revenge by handing Phoenix their first loss as well. Both teams are now 4-1 at the weeks end.

Baron Davis on playing the fist 8 games of the season on the road:
"Yeah, wow, when we got the schedule we were shocked to see that our first 8 were on the road. But, ya know it is a real team building experience. We have to rely on each other for support, since we won't get any from the crowds. We have really become much more of a family and our team chemistry is the best that we've ever had. I've never seen guys get along so great. We are definitely excited to play back in Oakland though, only one more week!"

nice comeback for the split against PHO; BD 32,10 and 6 stls - wow!

hey it's a little tough to see the boxscores (even when you click on them to make it bigger) because of the white lettering on grey/bg; maybe try messing with the tv's brightness/contrast? just for the boxscores though; the pix come out fine

other than that, keep the defending champs rollin'!

I think I'll just go back to the black boxscores, those are easier to photograph for some reason, a blakc bar appears most of the time with the white box scores, althoguh those look nicer... w/e

Question should I do the week by week results/ month by month results or do my espn.com game by game results?
also should I trade Granger or Butler or neither?

hey 'rulez - guess it depends on how much time you got/how quick you get through the season(s) and which you like doing the most; personally i liked your game-to-game recaps but that's just me; but you seem to get through games pretty quickly so game-to-game might be too often for you so week-to-week probably works better; just do whatever works best for you, ya know?

also, you just got granger/butler! why trade them? lol

I like 3-point shooters and i thought butler was a much better shooter than what he is:
63 fg 60 3pt
although my team chemistry is amazing.. its basically full right now... hmm.. thnx bd for your suggestions..

hmm 3pt-shooters... what about Peja from the Hornets? he's money; or at least was until he got injured last season; not sure if that's reflected in the game; he'd probably fit perfect for you team's style; wouldn't be as good a defender as Butler though

or maybe even... Dirk? you know what they say, "If you can't beat them..." ;)

haahah dirk
I actually was thinking about Peja, not sure if i I would have enough to get him though, I dunno Butler is somehow a 77 overall but like he's not great at dunking, shooting, or layups, I'm not sure how he is a 77. Although in real life he is really good.
One way to get Peja would be to trade Butler/Granger and Baron for Peja and Paul, but I don't want to trade Baron at all
One weird thing though about the game, the computer makes all these spectacular layups and I can't make a single layup.... so thats why I need a dunker like Baron

------------------------------------

In their 6th game of the season, the Warriors trailed the Hawks by 10 entering the 4th quarter. But Baron Davis led a furious rally and his 41 points helped the Warriors to win the game by 9. Andrea Bargnani had 16 points and 11 rebounds and Caron Butler chipped in 15 off bench, including some clutch free throw shooting to put the Hawks away. Bitter Wednesdays continued as the Warriors were blown out by the Bobcats. The game was very frustrating to the Warriors as they were not able to put together a serious run. Baron Davis had 25 points, but only 3 assists. Caron Butler added 14 points and Romeo Esposito chipped in 13. PLayer of the Game Raymund Felton led all scorers with 36 points! However, the Warriors were able to rebound nicely, routing the Magic in Orlando. The Warriors were up by 19 entering the 4th, so Coach Nelson was able to rest all the starters and Butler and give minutes to Esposito, Pietrus, Kapono, Shavlik Randolph and Matt Barners. Esposito made the most of his oppurtunity scoring 16 points (probably a career high) and dishing out 4 assists. Jason Kapono also played pretty well scoring 12 points, easily his high as a Warrior, as well as playing 7 minutes. The Warriors wrapped up their road trip going 6-2, not quite as good as they thought they would do, since they were blown out twice, but considering they played 8 straight games on the road, defintiely not too shabby.

like I sed I don't wnat to do that, He's definitely the MVP of the Warriors, and the heart and soul.
I don't know what the Hornets are actually interested in yet, so I'll have to see.
Maybe its best to just try and train Butler and Granger and make them better shooters, because our chemistry is so good, It'd be risky to mess it up...
