Simming has absolutely nothing to do with how they'll perform for me. Thanks though :P I think I've made my decision. Will post, maybe tomorrow but most likely monday.

Go Salim (Y)

Sat Jun 03, 2006 7:56 pm

I've got Person in my Bulls Dynasty, he has his moments and he's a big guard though I probably overspent on him. Fortunately he comes off the books at the end of the year. If he's cheap though he's not bad to have since he can play both guard spots and is also big enough to see some time at small forward if need be...the others are interesting options but if you can preserve some cap space or avoid signing someone to a two year contract, that would be for the best.

I´d go for Salim, he is quite good, fast and can spot up and shoot !

Cool dynasty btw ;)

Cavaliers vs Celtics

Game recap:
((Quarterly recaps will return on my next game posting, I just don't have the time right now.))
The Celtics dominated the first quarter (Celtics 25- Cavs 16), but then gave in in the second, and the Cavs dominated that period (Cavs 27, Celtics 17). The same thing happened in the third (Celtics 27- Cavs 20) and fourth quarters (Cavs 38, Celtics 26). This strange inconsistency truly bothers Cavs head coach Mike Brown, as it seems to happen every game.

"Obviously I'm not too upset, because we're 4-1 now with this victory (101-95 final), but it's kind of troubling that we can't play consistent basketball on either end of the floor."

Sorry for the brief recap, I'm pretty busy this weekend. Next recap I'll be back to normal form (posting more pics and quarterly reports, etc.).

Thanks for the input on the free agent guard situation, I'll consider all of your advice.

great game by LeBron !!

keep it on and maybe LeBron win the MVP !!

Mon Jun 05, 2006 3:50 pm

Nice win.

About the FA situation, don't sign anyone, especially from those suckers, save your money for something bigger, like next year's signings.

edit. OMG Lebron 14 to's  a little help ehm? No wonder he scores 40 a game, I smell a ballhog...

14 TO's for Lebron

Mon Jun 05, 2006 9:16 pm

Yeah but he also had 40 pts and 7 steals so 14 to's is unoticeable lol.
Good job on the recap loved it, and nice dynasty so far...but about gameplay,
is all kool when Lebrons Scoring 30+ points but look at the rest of the players....
When I had my Cavs dynasty in game 6 he got injured and I just quit LOL!. g/l.

LeBron continues to tear it up, the 14 turnovers aside. That consistency problems comes up for me too, but Mike Brown should rest easy in the knowledge that it's only the comeback code. ;) Keep up the good work. (Y)

Hehe, thanks for the comments guys. The 14 turnovers were mostly from attempted steals when I was behind. I tend to just ignore the turnover stats as a whole- it's just screwed up.

Oh... and something pretty interesting that I'm considering..... I just typed up my exact idea but I think I'll keep it a secret instead. Let me just say that it is something that, to my knowledge, has NEVER been done in a dynasty before. NEVER. ;) Not saying it's going to be the "greatest thing ever", but I think it'll be pretty bloody awesome and I'm really looking forward to it.

im sure its going to be something really great, cant wait for it :D

Wed Jun 07, 2006 1:14 am

Meh. I'm having trouble figuring out how exactly to mix this in with my dynasty. It probably won't be as neat as I thought it would be, but I'll still be doing it.

((It has been a few days since I've been able to post, and during those couple of days I did alot of formatting and moving stuff around on my computer- I accidentally lost the folder with my next game recap in it. I lost 91-88 to the Pistons. And I did sign Daniel Ewing as several of you suggested- he did great.))

Two days after a loss to the Detroit Pistons in which Cleveland lost hold of a fourteen point lead in the fourth quarter, management has gone public and taken back their statement that no further changes would be made to the team.

They first attempted a trade to acquire Trevor Ariza and Deshawn Stevenson from the Orlando Magic in exchange for Eric Snow, Aleksandar Pavlovic, and rookie Angelo Craft. The trade was rejected by Orlando.

Cleveland reworked their offer to include Anderson Varejao ((sorry Jugs)), who has been having a hard time producing on either end of the court this year, and Orlando accepted, but decided to include Darko Milicic instead of Trevor Ariza. It wasn't exactly what the Cavs were after, but they came away from the trade very pleased.

Pretty good trade and you dumped eric snow (Y)
Darko should develop good for you and hopefully Stevenson does good

Fri Jun 09, 2006 8:17 am

Nice trade but I like Varejao.
He has a promising future but you got Milicic back which was good.
Ill be watching this.

Fri Jun 09, 2006 11:58 pm

Varejao brings it to every game, disapointing trade on that part. But Darko and Deshawn are good quality. :P

Nice double double with LeBron, 14tos

Mon Jun 12, 2006 8:20 am

YAYAYAYAYAYAY He traded the stupid poodle who grabs people, specifically named Rasheed Wallace, and throws them down for no reason.

Darko :headbang:

Mon Jun 12, 2006 8:37 am

Oh my god, you traded for DeShawn Stevenson. I want to have your babies.

Just so you all know, I'm not quitting this, I've just been busy. ;)

Thu Jun 15, 2006 3:29 pm

why not do a 2-1 or 3-1 trade for a cheap/quality c/f. Hopefully you'll retain enough cap space to sign more fre agents. bottomline is, I think you need an upgrade on your front court.

Very funny that you say that, because that's exactly what I did about a week ago. Just haven't had time to post anything :) I will eventually. Started a new job, adjusting to the schedule.
