San Antonio wins behind Duncan's triple double performance. It was his first triple-double of the season and he is climbing up in the top 5 MVP candidates. Duncan was just being the same old Duncan. He rebounded the ball really, really well, way above his average, and the points, above his average. Deron Williams, the rookie, the point-guard, the next Jason Kidd?, had game and carrer high 37 points. He was hitting his shots. Thats what kept the Jazz in the game for most of the time. He got help from AK47 who was scoring, rebounding, blocking, etc., but it wasnt enough to beat the high flying Admirals. Spurs have 9 days untill they play their next game, aganist the Clippers. They will fly back to San Antonio tonight and they will have their practice scheduled for tomorrow.

BREAKING NEWS !!!

At practice today in San Antonio, Jackson and Ginobili got into a fight. Jackson said that he should start over Manu and that he is a better player. Ginobili didnt say anything but other players heard it. They told the coaching staff as soon as possible. When Peter Holt heard it, he traded Jackson to the Clippers along with Horry and Udrih, but in return he got Corey Maggette and 1st round pick.. He thinks that the trade will help both teams especially the Spurs. Maggette is happy to be on a new team and is looking forward coming off the bench, doesnt hurt his minutes, and playing with Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, and his former teammate Chris Wilcox.

i love the breaking news

C.M. Press Conference

Last night, Corey Maggette of the Los Angeles Clippers got traded to the San Antonio Spurs. The trade happend because of some incident that happend ay Spurs' practice yesterday, involving Stephen Jackson and Manu Ginobili. Jackson said that he is a better player than Ginobili and that he should start over him, obviously their teammates disagreed and told the coacking staff immediately. Chris Wilcox, who was a member of the Los Angeles Clippers back when season started called Maggette on his cellphone and asked him if he was interested of playing with San Antonio, Wilcox already knew that Jackson's comments will get him traded. Peter Holt, Spurs president asked Popovich who has he been thinking of trading. Pop talked to his players and Wilcox told him what he had in mind. Pop talked to Holt and they decided to trade Jackson, Horry, and a filler Udrih to get Maggette. We did a Q & A with Maggette to see what was going on with him after the big trade:

Q: What was your reaction when you heard the news that you are going to be traded to the NBA Champions?

A: Everything happend so fast. Me and my teammates in L.A. were getting ready for San Antonio the other day because they were our next opponents. Then I got a call and I was told that I'm going to be traded. I'm looking to start all-over again with the NBA Champions and help them be the Champions again this year.

Q: Did you ever want or imagine playing for the Spurs?

A: Ever since I was a little kid and when I was in high school, college I used to watch The Admiral play, he was my favorite player. When I started playing I chose his number, 50.

Q: What did they change your number to 23 when you got traded to San Antonio?

A: I chose to change it, there was only one Admiral #50 in San Antonio and there is never going to be another one wearing the same number.

Q: We look forward of seeing you play on your new team and your next game is aganist your former team?

A: We are just going and have to see what'll happen.

Q: Thank you for spending this time off and chatting with us.

A: Thank You, and anytime.

Spurs win 14th straight by beating the Clippers 109-101. Both teams played good. Duncan and Brand were going at each other the whole game allowing each other to score 30+ each. The game was tied at the end of first. Spurs closed out the 2nd quarter leading by 50-45, and heading into 3rd. Then the Clippers went on a 11-2 run at the end of thried quarter to lead the game by 6 points, 78-72. Spurs got their act together and went on a 14-0 run in the fourth. They scored 37 points in the fourt quarter, including 8 from Duncan, and 10 from Parker. Spurs played great defense in the 4th and thats what gave them the titles and the games they won for the past 7 years. Corey Maggette scored 10 points in his debut with the Spurs, while on the other side the former Spurs' players had 9 points all together. 7 points from Horry and 2 points from Jackson. The crowd booed Maggette everytime he touched the ball. Maggette has yet to prove what he has and what he's bringing to this team, tonight wasnt his night, says Pop. Thats how he's gonna play for at least the next 2-3 games so he can fit into this style of play. Spurs will take on Bibby and the Kings next week for their final game of the month of January.

Skam, I was perfectly polite in my original request. But it was ignored and mocked. Repeatedly. So of course at some point I have to stop being thoughtful and elegant. I apologize if you think I'm having an ego about this- believe me, I'm not.

SABaller, one more (final) time.... please stop with the double posting. ;)

Wow, the Suns with Joe Johnson, I had almost forgotten that he was a part of the Phoenix team last year.... in the real NBA, they got a good deal with Diaw, but in the game- PHX is probably alot tougher with Johnson on board. Good luck. (Y)

That was definitly his last warning.

I've deleted all of the double/triple posts, if you keep doing it and your little friend Skam continues to get involved I'll delete the entire thread.

Edit:

skam wrote:omg, (i believe) jae is a complete idiot.

for the last time, i'm not anybody's little friend. if you have an issue with me- deal with me directly.

this is a nice set of forums, unfortunate that most of the moderators are clueless goons with no sense of subtlety.

that's it, i've said my piece, i'm not speaking about anything else on this subject again, so block me, delete me, lock my boards- i honestly don't care, but if you do it'll only show just how childish you are.

I was going to just delete the post but I figured I'd quote it at least for humour purposes.

I don't mind being seen as childish either, so goodbye. Lock your own boards... whatever that means.

Thank you for deleting those double posts through-out the Topic and I promise that I wont make double-triple posts again, but I have a question:

If ppl are commenting on your dynasty story....this is an example:

EX. 1 WOW Man , really nice story

EX. 2 Nice stuff.

EX. 3 Really good trade......

and now I want to reply to these post, how can I do it on one posts, all I can do is triple post, that sall I know.........

and after this question can we please get back to the dynasty story instead of talking about the double-triple posts.
