Spurs win Game 2, behind Timmee

It was a really good and nice night for the fans and the children at the At&t Center, because the Spurs were up the whole game, 'till some point in the 3rd qtr, when the Mavs were up by 1 pt, that was everything. Spurs got off to a quick start and outscoring the Mavs 30-22 in the 1st. The game was mostly 5-10 points, Spurs up. The reigning NBA Champions are up two games to zero, and are looking to take on the Mavs Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center.

This is a very important game for the Mavericks, they will need to win Game 3 to still have a chance winning, if they lose, they will have to win 4 in a row to advance, but they have to get through the Champs in order to do so.

Sweep the Mavs here, for beating Spurs in real life

I dont know about that, beating the Spurs in real life, its too soon for saying that, we are down 3-1 and we need to win 3 in a row, just like the Suns did.

Spurs bench comes up big, in a win 3-0

Spurs took total control of the series by beating the Mavs in Game 3. Now that the Spurs are up 3-0, Mavs are going to try and do the unthinkable, win 4 games in a row or 3 to send it to Game 7, but I highly doubt it. That will never happen. Mavs might win game 4 their last game in Dallas this season, but if they win this and the next game they have hope. The Champs have played like the Champs and will look to close out the series, the next game.

Spurs lose, Mavs keep their hopes alive

The Dallas Mavericks were desperate for a win in this series, and they got one. They beat the Spurs by 12 points to keep the series going. They were firing on all sides, especially Devin Harris who scored 17 of 24 points in the 4th quarter. Ginobili had the game high 29 points. Spurs will try to bounce back at home when they take on the Mavericks in Game 5.

FINAL SCORE:

After the game, we did a Q&A with Gregg Popovich to see what is his reaction and confidence heading into Game 5 Monday night:

Q: Everybody thought that the Spurs will close out the series tonight and what happend?

A: The Mavs wanted it more and they were a better team tonight. Duncan got into foul trouble early in the game and he had to sit out, Mavs took control of that and won it.

Q: Your former point-guard is the coach of the Mavericks, do you think he can read the plays that you tell your player to do?

A: Ummm...he probably can, but Spurs are on a mission and even if he can and he probably knows some things that the Spurs will do to win, and he will probably use it more times to send this series deep.

Q: Ginobili, 29 points he had a nice game out there, would you say?

A: We needed Ginobili, he was attacking the basket, making three-point plays and all that stuff to keep us in the game, but it wasnt enough to beat them.

Q: You and your team is heading into Game 5 with a 3-1 lead, what are your predictions for that game?

A: We worked very hard to get this far, take the 3-1 lead and I dont have any predictions, the game will turn out to be the game and hopefully we want to take Game 5 and win the series and look ahead.

Q: Good Luck in game 5.

A: Thanks.
