Yes the graphical part. If ur using Fraps and saving them in iView, then they look horrible(graphically). Try and paste them in Photoshop, they come out much better!

Late mistakes seal Boston’s win in Madison!

Another loss in front of its own crowd for the Knicks…This time the team that grabbed the victory is division rival Boston Celtics. They took advantage of the poor offensive flow in the last seconds of the game and won 100 – 98.
“I don’t know what happened in the last offensive play. We practiced totally different plays with 5 seconds to go. My players lost concentration and we paid for that!” said Head Coach Larry Brown.
The entire game was evenly although Boston tried to make runs in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. With only 2 minutes to go from the game Boston had a 6 point advantage and had the attack but Steve Francis made a great play by stealing the ball from guard Dan Dickau and then by making an incredible 3 point play. Again a missed shot by Wally and a basket scored by Francis cut the lead to 1 with only 5 seconds to go. Al Jefferson scored only 1 of his 2 free throws and Boston led by 2. But then something happened…Francis grabbed the ball, passed it to K-Mart who was block by Jefferson and Curry couldn’t make the mid-range jumper.
“I saw Kenyon trying to make room to score near the basket and I passed it to him. The rest is history!” said Steve Francis.
Paul Pierce was the Player of the Game averaging 27 points; 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Also Raef LaFrentz had a great night with 11 points (5 from 6 from the field!) 12 boards and 4 blocks.

Yeah tough. I still can't concentrate enough in the last minutes or so and win damn but with more games I'll improve and eventually win. i don't trust my bench though that's the main reason i'm losing. Regarding the simming you see the same problem...the starting 5 is doing a great job but the bench doesn't help enough. I surely have to think at some trades and improve my bench

Mon May 01, 2006 2:29 am

Ok I thought at some trades and I tried to see if they are possible. So I've come out with 3 possible trades (2 of them will prolly be done around the trade deadline). They're not big but they are somthing  I can't get rid of players like Jalen Rose or Maurice Taylor cause they have huge salaries  . The trade I want to do after week 7 is this:

1. Nate Robinson for Gerald Green

Well it's not much but Nate has a disastrous FG % i mean under .300  . Gerald Green on the other hand is an athletic player and in my opinion he's the next Tracy McGrady :D . He doesn't play much for Boston under 8-9 minutes per game maybe and he can become the 6th Man in my team or even starter he has a lot of potential. The trade is realistic too. But there is a 2nd option:

2. Nate Robinson for J.R. Smith

You know JR he's athletic he can dunk (high-flyer of course) he can score that mid-range jumper and even that 3-pointer. He has a lot potential of course. Personally I would go for the 1st option Nate for Green (i want to make Green a superstar  ). What do you think?

Mon May 01, 2006 3:08 am

Go with Gerald, I like that trade idea. ;)

Mon May 01, 2006 4:37 am

hm.. i say keep nate. lol
but if yuo wanna trade, i would go for green.

Mon May 01, 2006 4:41 am

If Green doesn't get hurt like Robinson has, why not trade for him.

Well as I said before Nate has a disastrous FG%. Furthermore I have to many potential PGs in my team - Andre Miller; Steve Francis; Jamal Crawford

I was thinking the exactly same way :D

“Where is the defense??” – Loss against the Hawks

New York suffered another tough loss away from home in Atlanta against the local team Hawks. The question “Where is the defense?” was asked by Head Coach of the Knicks Larry Brown in the middle of a nervous breakdown late in the 3rd quarter. “We gave the other team too many offensive rebounds and too many 2nd chances. That’s where we lost the game!” said Larry Brown at the press conference after the game.
The entire game was a close one both team making runs and trying to make a comfortable lead. Again the poor shooting was a factor: New York had a FG% of less than .400. The players with the worst FG% of the Knicks were guards Andre Miller (3-15) and Jamal Crawford (1-12). “I had a bad game I must admit!” said Jamal after the game.
On the other side Atlanta was helped in taking this victory by rookies Marvin Williams (15 points and 9 boards) and Salim Stoudamire (6-6 from the FT line).
The Player of the Game was forward Al Harrington who scored 16 points and rebounded the basketball 17 times.

ImageImage
1st: Jalen Rose scored only 4 points in 11 minutes; 2nd: Salim Stoudamire was hurt in the 1st quarter but he was able to comeback in the 4th quarter

ImageImage
1st: Joe Johnson didn't have the best of nights scoring only 10 points; 2nd: Francis was the leader in scoring with 19 points

Rookie Move – Nate leaves Big Apple!

After the blockbuster trade in late October that involved sending rookie Channing Frye away in Denver Florian Gheorghe made his second trade since he was named GM in the Big Apple. This time the trade is involving another rookie: guard Nate Robinson. The rookie heads to Boston and in return the Celtics send 19-year-old Gerald Green.

“I’m sad to leave New York but that’s the life of a professional basketball player. I picked Boston because there I’ll have a big chance to become a starter of the team!” said guard Nate Robinson.

“I welcome the opportunity of leaving Boston and coming here in New York. In Boston I haven’t been playing as much as I wanted to. GM double_g and coach Larry Brown assured me that I will have more chances and if I’m doing well I could even become a starter!” said Gerald Green.

“A good trade for both teams! Boston has now a good point guard and we acquired a great shooting guard. I believe Gerald could be the next Tracy McGrady. He has tremendous talent for his age!” said GM double_g. Asked if the next trade will involve David Lee double_g replied “I don’t have anything with the rookies picked by the former GM. It’s just a coincidence that both Frye and Robinson left New York. We had too many potential point guards.” He also added “We decided to change this so called – trade trend – and stop bring players with huge salaries not wanted by the other teams. From now on we’ll bring young players with potential in this team!"
