Kobe smashes Dalembert in the head en route to this layup

PHILADELPHIA November 11 (Ticker) -- The Sixers were pumped coming home after beating Dallas big without Dirk playing. They would be host to the 0-5 Lakers, however a change was made. John Salmons replaced Kyle Korver in the starting lineup because Mo Cheeks wants more defense, and can use Korver when they need that momentum-changing 3. The Sixers were up by 4 to end the 1st quarter.
In the 2nd, the Sixers maintained their lead, being up 57-53 at the half. Iverson had 13 points in the quarter, but Andre Iguodala, who had 11 in the first quarter, got hurt. However, he was cleared to play the rest of the game. Kobe was leading the Lakers with 17 points in the first half.
The third quarter had a lot of injuries, as Smush Parker, AI, and Dalembert suffered some injury. Parker and Dalembert are cleared to return, AI was not. The Lakers cut the lead a little closer but the Sixers supporting cast held in, with the score being 87-86 after 3.
But then the Lakers pulled away. Brian Cook made a shot with the foul to basically put the game away. Kobe finished with only 29 points but with no AI for the Sixers the score was 115-109. Philly shot 20-37 from the FT line man, i cant hit them fucking free throws and my slider is at 20.. The Sixers will try to get revenge from this loss against the Clippers.

Some information on injuries.
Image
shit 3 weeks. webbers gonna get a lot of playing time at center

Image
1 week is only a few games. he'll be back soon

AI will be in the lineup. The trainer has cleared him to play and says hes in full health.

Image
Barnes will get a little playing time now that Iggy is hurt

Image
I would laugh if they started Jonathan Bender in his place(ill edit the rosters later)

Image
4 weeks. Sac is screwed

Image
They still have Carter and Kidd though. still a big loss

Good news on Dalembert. The Trainer has worked on him and his injury time has reduced to 2 weeks.

Remember to keep sending in those applications for the upcoming draft. The first ones to sign up will be featured in a rookie preview that will come around the all-star break.

Man tough loss, especially with the injuries. Maybe lowering it in the sliders wouldn't be such a bad idea. Hopefully you can recover and take the next one.

Elton Brand shakes the rim on this two-handed jam

PHILADELPHIA November 13 (Ticker) -- The game was a high scoring affair to start, with the Sixers leading 39-31. The bench had to put in more minutes with the losses of Dalembert and Iguodala, and they showed what they could do. However, Chris Webber got hurt during the quarter, but was cleared to play the rest of the game by the trainer.
Then the 2nd quarter came. LAC started out hot and outscored the sixers by 12 in the quarter. C-Webb came back and made most of his shots, that was good. AI had 19 points and 5 assists at the half. Elton Brand made a shot at the buzzer (the official was obviously blind, it was way after the clock expired) and the Clippers were up 75-71.
The third quarter came, and it was evenly matched. Bucket after bucket was made by each team as the Sixers were down 104-101. AI had 29 points after the 3rd quarter, but Elton Brand and the Clippers would not give up on the lead. The Sixers missed on any oppurtunity to take that lead.
The Sixers then completely lost it in the 4th. Iverson and Webber were plagued with foul trouble. The Clippers got on a run, and ended up blowing out the Sixers 149-123. Elton Brand finished with 34 points and 13 rebounds. The Sixers will look to rebound against the Toronto Raptors later this week.

i spent this week updating the rosters, ratings, CF's so they have been traded.

The Sixers played 2 straight games against Toronto. In the first game, the Sixers were blown out 110-85. Iverson had 34 points, but Antonio Davis had 20, Chris Bosh had 26 and 19 rebounds, and Mo Peterson had 34 points. Toronto outscored the Sixers 33-12 in the 3rd quarter.
