You did a good job with the 2nd pic because it really look like Newble threw a punch

The players are trying to not get involved, the Detroit players are smart (now) and avoiding the fight. :P

Longfellow wrote:  That's great. Sheed is a great player, but he does need to get jacked in the face one of these days. Nice job with the pics. (Y)

EDIT: I'd take a look at Miles. It's nice to have a slasher who can hit a jumper every once in a great while. In my Bucks dynasty Mason is tearing it up and he's just a slasher who hits a wide open jumper every once in awhile.

The only problem with Miles is that he does have a pretty big contract, and absolutely no 3 point shooting. I've had many occurances with penetrate and dish or kicking it out from Z and N00ble can't hit the J. Miles doesn't have as much range as Mason either.

It's_Asdf wrote:You have a very entertaining dynasty man, very funny stuff  . Nice touch with the fight, and the ESPN scoreboard is also looking really tight. A top notch dynasty. (Y)

Thanks plenty. (Y)

Gracias. Newble definitely isn't my favorite player. I couldn't figure out why Cleveland started him in the first place. He's not very usefull and doesn't put points on the board either.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I will do something like that too, maybe when I can't get a game in.

The Aftermath

Detroit, MI-Rasheed Wallace’s head was even messed up more than before. He had to get testicular surgery on his left testicle and now wears a du-rag almost all the time. Luckily, ESPN 8 anchors Cotton McKnight and Pepper Brooks were able to catch up with Rasheed and Ira after the fight.

“Sheeeeed, how’s it going?” asked McKnight.
“Terrible. I feel like I have a headache in four different places. As soon as I got my hands on the wigger [Newble] he started pulling my hair like a little bitch! I’m not sure how it looks now, but Rip [Richard Hamilton] says it’s pretty bad. I may have to go bald.”
Image
“You might have to go bald,” said McNight
“Umm….yeah, I said th-“
“Yeah, I know you said that”
“Yeah, okay, well then.”

“Are you going to have to sit out due to injury?”
“Maybe, I’m not sure. My ribs are feeling awefully tender though, even though Newble doesn’t hit hard. It was just a real cheap shot though.”
Image
“What do you think will happen the next time you two meet?”
“I’m going to try to keep it safe and avoid him, but I’ll pound on him ingame. If the bastard wants to F wit me though, I’ll jack him up more than his pickup truck”

Brooks caught up with Newble.
Image
“Do you regret doing what you did?” asked Brooks.
“Naw dog, I was just keeping it gangsta, you know da ropes homie. Nobody messes with the dog. You mess wit da dog, you get bit! Woof! Woof!”
“You are aware of your 3-game suspension, right? How do you think the team will do without you?”
“Mane, I think they gonna be losin all 3 of them games nawmean? They ain’t got my explosiveness, they ain’t got game like me.”
”You’ve scored single digits in most games so far.”
”That’s cuz Bron been hogging the ball.”
“He’s been injured….”
“Well McNasty been hoggin the ball.”
“I’m assuming you like balls?”
“Yeah, I like to have the ball all the time, in any position. I’ll take it backwards, hell, it don’t matter to me.”
“You post up and take it?”
“Yep I’ll take it in the post.”
“On the perimeter?”
“Yep, out there too.”
“In the butt?”
“Any day-Wait!”

“It’s also rumored you will be traded. What do you think of that?”
“Thank Allah! I’ll get to finally touch the balls probably!”
:eh:
“Also it’s rumored you will be a guest fighter on Fight Night Round 3, would you like to be in it?”
“Yeah, sure, I could beat Ali, Frazier, Roy Jones, they don’t stand NO chance against me!”
“Well, um, see you on the bench.”

I’m not quite sure…Never heard of him, but his rating’s decent.
Yep, on Thursday, December 17, the Cleveland Cavaliers sent out a 12 day contract to Guard/Forward Mark Jones. Jones is a 29 year old rookie. We picked him up for his shooting ability, and maybe to make a trade work.

Cavs vs. Celtics
Image
We started the first half off well, without Wigger. We got a pretty steady contribution from everyone, but Zydrunas Ilgauskas was the main man. He had 21 points by half time, and was a wrecking machine in the paint. Ricky Davis for the Celtics was playing good for them, he had 12 by halftime. We lead by double-digits in the third, and pretty much stayed up for most of the game.

In the second half we pushed our lead up further, and were really kicking Boston’s ass. I was tempted to bring in Luke Jackson in the 3rd, but I didn’t. One point I called a TO, then they called a TO on the very next possession, and then they called a second TO on their next possession after that. Stupid AI. Anyway, they came back in the third behind 13 4th quarter points from GP. They started the 4th on a 12-0 run and I was freaked out as they cut our lead all the way from 20+ to just single digits. Paul Pierce had 7 steals, 2 shy of his career best. We managed to get the lead back up thanks to 100% Welsch juice knocking down a few downtown shots. He had 9 of his 11 in the second half, but threw up more bricks than a mason in the first. He shot just 3/14 in place of Newble.

Ilgauskas was player of the game, with 31-15.
Image
29 year old rookie Mark Jones, who was signed to a 12 day contract, also played 10 minutes. He had 4 points in his debut.

"Who the fuck is Mark Jones? If they think some playa like this guy herrre gonna replace me, they got they heads on wrong."-Ira "Wigger" Newble.

Cavs Make a Trade; Newble to stay?”
Cincinnati, OH-On Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers shook things up a little bit by making a trade to Sacramento. Newble to leave was on everybody’s minds, but that didn’t happen. Why? Cotton McKnight asked Usher, official Cleveland Cavaliers spokesperson. ”It went a little bit smoother and easier than I expected. I was thinkin around a week or two before we could work something out, but I thought of something and it worked. I didn’t want to trade Aleksander [Pavlovic] or MJ yet, but the idea hit me and I think it was better than what we were going to offer.”

Image

It was Pavlovic and Mark Jones for Eddie House and Maurice Evans. The Cavs think this will help their starting lineup a bit, with high flyer Evans, who can also knock down the open 3 much more consistently than others who have filled the 2 and 3 spot in the starting lineup.

“I knew those wankers didn’t have the heart. Hell, I even told Usher I listened to his CDs. What a wiener dog. His shit puts me to sleep. Yeah! Yeah! And I said Yeah! Who the fuck writes a song all about ‘yeah’? Gimme a damn break before I have a heart attack and die of colon cancer.”
