Just a small summary what happened so far...

After winning the 1991 Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers the Chicago Bulls went for the repeat in 1992. From this point it was a different story to the real NBA. The Bulls didnt show that domination in the regular season as they supposed to do. At least they could save the no 1 seed in the East just in time in front of the New Jersey Nets.

The first round against the Milwaukee Bucks wasnt a problem at all for the Bulls, Jordan led his team to a 3:1 victory. In the second round Chicago faced one of their biggest rivals in the East, the Detroit Pistons. In a tightly contested series the Pistons were able to defend the reigning Champion in 6 Games. One reason for that the defensive strategy of the Detroit Pistons, Jordan and Pippen couldnt find to their offensive game. Isiah Thomas played one of his best playoff series ever to seal the victory against MJ and his Bulls.

1992 NBA Playoffs

The New Jersey Nets along with Miami were the big surprise in the East that season. The Nets emphasized their rows with Elden Campbell from the LA Lakers. With Campbell, Coleman and the great Drazen Petrovic they even made the NBA Finals.

In the 1992 Finals the Nets faced the big favorite from Houston. All spectators expected a superior win by the Rockets, but a knee injury of Hakeem Olajuwon led to a very tight series. The Rockets finally won Game 7 of the 1992 Finals and Otis Thorpe was named Finals MVP.

1992 Finals

After the big letdown of the 1992 season, the Bulls are fighting to bring back the title to Chicago. The Bulls are on a good way sitting in the top of the Conference with a 24-6 record. Michael Jordan is playing one of his best seasons so far, he is averaging 32 points agame and he is close to score his 20 000th career point.

You can get more details what happened so far, if you read the intro on page 1 and click on the links in the directory. I ll try to get this one running again, as i already mentioned it was the one i had most fun with.
For all that send me NLSC draftees, of course i ll keep them in and i think i am going to do new contests in the future.

The first update is going to be the December summary with all recent Stats and Standings. Then i am going to kick off the first Game against the Cavaliers on January first 1993... a new year .. a new try

Yeah with Willie Lewis and Rick Fox. I think Fox scored career high with 44 points in the last Game. Now doing Standings to show you all teams situations.

Here is the link of the current Rosters if you want to take a look.

Yes Mavs will be good this year, but Western Conference was very strong to that time.

Thanks for the support. MJs 1992 season on NBA Live 06 wasnt really good so he is going to strike back in 1993.

Some good news adding many missing Cyberfaces for some players i.e. Robert Horry etc...

I started with NBA Live 06 and then try to convert to 2k11. This led into some problems which discouraged me to continue this. But i think i ve found a way to continue and i am having fun with this again (in 2k11).

I think Shaq is going to step up soon. His December stats are way better than they were in November.

Cavs rushed into the Game...

With a very weak first quarter the Chicago Bulls started into the new year. The Cavaliers had a big run on the Bulls in the first minutes which led to a 39 to 19 lead after the first quarter.

Michael Jordan commited two early fouls which forced him to sit on the bench at an early stage. Larry Nance and Mark Price were hard to stop for Chicago, both combined 53 points and Price also added 17 assists to his totals. In the second quarter the Bulls could reduce the margin to five points, despite Jordan only played about 10 minutes in the first half he was able to score 15 points.

The second half went better for Chicago, especially the fourth quarter was dominated by the duo of Pippen and Jordan. Pippen scored 35 points and booked 9 rebounds while Jordan scored 31 points and dished 12 assists.

Fictional Raptors 1993

For everyone who is new to this thread: "Yes there are Raptors, Grizzlies and Bobcats in here." I decided to keep them in already in the beginnings of Live 06, it might be kind of unrealistic but i dont care. Its still fun to play with them and to see how they can develop. I added some roleplayers to their rosters to make them kind of interesting and competetive.

Well this game was very onesided- even Woolridge and Chapman made a solid game Toronto didnt had a chance at all. The Bulls starters could take a rest early and spare their forces for future tasks.

A defensive battle between the 1992 finalist New Jersey Nets and the 1991 NBA Champion the Chicago Bulls. An Eastern-Rivalry just started as the Nets relieve the Bulls as the Eastern Conference Champion in 1992.

Elden Campbell who was traded by the Lakers almost one year ago showed a solid performance 18 points 6 rebounds and 3 blocks. Chicago struggled until the last quarter against this defensive wall built by the Nets.

Finally the New Jersey Nets lost due to their many turnovers, Chicago exploited this to build up a lead in the last quarter. Michael Jordan was named Player of the Game with 37 points 3 rebounds and 7 assists.

With the loss of Charles Barkley in the 1992 offseason, many experts thought this would be the coffins nail for the 76ers. But with some rising stars like Glen Rice and some NBA veterans like Tom Chambers the 76ers managed to have a good start into the season sitting in the 8th seed of the Eastern Conference.

This night the Chicago Bulls were just too strong for Philadelphia. Especially the first half was a dominating performance by the Bulls. It seems noone can stop theese guys at the moment. The announcement of bringing back the title to Chicago were not only warm words.
