Way to go, slaughtering the Mavs to make the Finals. Hope art imitates life and South Beach gets owned by a Texas team.

Just played game #1, for some reason I have home-court advantage, even though I won 48 games I think while the Heat won 60 or 61.

The King posterized. Rockets take game #1 with ease as Smith fills stat sheet Recap | Box Score | Highlights
MVP: Josh Smith didn't finish with a triple-double, but was close to a quadruple-double, as he finished with an amazing stat-line. 34 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 7 blocks, 2 steals, 13-17 shooting and 8-10 on free throws. Smith was +31 while on the court, he had 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocks in the third quarter, when the Rockets out-scored the Heat 33-18.
LVP: Ray Allen. The veteran sharp-shooter was tightly guarded all game and had just 4 points.
X-Factor: Gerald Green had 14 points in the first half, all of the points he had for the game, to keep the game close. Smith had 10 points in the first half but the Rockets needed some extra offense and Green stepped up in his 7 minutes, going off for 14 minutes.
That was... a size difference: The Rockets showed their size against the small-ball Heat. They had 14 blocks and out-rebounded the Heat 51-37. The Heat still got 62 points in the paint thanks to LeBron and Wade, but shot just 2-13 from deep and got to the line 16 times (15 makes) while the Rockets got there 38 times and converted 30 which turned out to be the difference.

Damn dude. Beautiful things happen when Josh Smith stops shooting threes. Don't think game 2 will be quite so easy though!

My laptop's fucked so this will be on hold until I can fix it. Fuck, I hope I can get the save from it, it's been so fun playing with this team.. I didn't even get to post game #2, which was very exciting, one player had over 50 points.
Hiatus could last a while, I think only the display is fucked as it won't switch on anymore. Damn it, I was so ready to kick Miami's ass in the Finals, but for now, only the Spurs can claim that.
