Play of the Day - IV blocks two in a row, and Mafia slams it home at the other end.

NEW YORK, November 14 (Ticker) -- The Knicks took a nice first half lead and never looked back, they never looked at all not in control of every aspect of the game.

This time, it wasnt the starting 5 that carried them. It was a huge effort from the bench, as the contributed to 56 of the 107 team points, with X leading the way as usual with 11, going 4-4 from the field, 3-3 from 3. Big Iv closely followed, and had the best game of his short career, racking up 10 points and 10 rebounds to go along with 4 blocks.

"I went out aggresively and my main goal was to grab rebounds. I did that and found myself on the scoring end on occasion too." Big Iv on his game.

Rookie Deron Williams played well, but shot quite miserable as he went for 29 points. Which was the story for the whole Jazz team as they shot 41% as a team.

Yet again, captain Zac "Zmac" Mousoulis lead the team in scoring with 22. But he tributed the win to the bench and their superb effort.
Zmac is averaging 25.3ppg, not only leading the time, but coming equal 15th in the league with Kevin Garnett. Not bad company.

"As captain of this young team, I feel that some of the scoring load falls on me. I have no problem dishing the ball, but I feel that my thing is scoring. Everyone has their own thing. Thats what makes this team special, even though we are a bunch of nobodies." Zmac on himself and his team.

The Knicks face the Lakers in LA on November 16 and then the Nuggets on the 18th to finish their 6 game road trip. So far they are 2-2 on the road trip.

I play as PF/C so I'm sure I indirectly helped you contain him in some ways  it could've been when I said, "Sit, AK47's wife told me (in the bedroom) that he can have one girl per year. I hear he's got his eyes on your women for being that special lady"....after that, you shut him down

(Left)Malfa touches the sky for this put back. (Right)Zmac jams one through the lane with some attitude.

Play of the Day - Sit misses the long J, but Zmac skies and jackhammers it home.

NEW YORK, November 16 (Ticker) --The only thing that stopped Kobe was foul trouble.
Every time he got the ball the Lakers scored. When he was on the court, the Lakers were up, when he went off, they soon fell behind.

With 30 seconds left, the Lakers put the ball in Kobes hands, with 11 seconds left he put them ahead by three, and the Knicks Will Sit missed an open three to hand the Lakers the victory and end the Knicks 2 game winning streak.

"I had a good look, but I choked. These things happen. We've had it happen to one of our own before, so Im gonna try not to get down on it." Sit on his shot.

For the first time of the season, Andrew 'X' Watson had a poor game, and a shocker at that, as he went 0 for 9 from 3 for his worst shooting night of the season. He ended up with 1-11 from the field.

It looked as thought Kobe was gonna go for 80 as he had 22 of the 31 Lakers first quarter points, but as Kobe picked up 2 quick fouls, he was forced to the bench for the final 9 minutes of the 2nd quarter where the Knicks rallied and took a 5 point half time lead.

Kobe came back on and continued to knock shot after shot. The Lakers climbed back and took the 1 point lead entering the 4th.
The Knicks kept it close throughout the whole last quarter, but as the final minutes approached, neither team could hit a shot and in the final minute the Lakers were ahead 2. With 55 seconds left, the Knicks Conrad Burry drove and kicked the ball out to Zmac, who faked and drew the defender in the air then went around for the J which he sank with 41 seconds left. The Lakers then gave it to Kobe who was pressured and almost lost it, but the possesion stayed with Lakers with 30 seconds on the clock. Kobe hit his 3 which won Lakers the game.

The loss broke the Knicks two game win streak. The Knicks are now 2-3 on their west coast road trip and 3-5 overall. They finish their 6 game trip in Denver on the 18th.
