Sensation wrote:Good stuff, Webber struggled against the Bobcats bot regainsed himself in the next few games. I missed a triple-double against the 'Cats by a single rebound and assist. :x Oh well I'll take it though. Looking good cwebbiverson, good to see some updates. I'd just like to see more competitive games instead of Philly always winning by a big margin. I'd like to see some close games where clutch comes into play like we did against the Wizards. I'd just like to see it more consistantly. Other than that, keep up the good work.

Thanks Sensation. Btw, I didn't play any of the games the last week, so its the sim engines fault.

jxuusa wrote:hey 50 got rookie of the month for bobcats. interesting

Yeh I added streetballers into this dynasty. 50 has to wear #51 for the Bobcats tho.

Thanks skateballer.

Wow 25, 8 and 8 for me against the 'Cats although Webber seems to me struggling. Great trade though, now Webber and Traylor are reunited. Good to see Philly still winning and staying on top.

strong winning streak you've got going here, beating some top teams. trade wasn't bad...getting traylor will hopefully improve your paint play from the bench...

Thanks colickyboy. i hope that traylor helps on the bench.

and thanks honorglow for the report on the sixers.

Before we look at the recap of the week of Jan. 22-28, a few trades were made involving Sacramento, San Antonio, and the Sixers.

SAC-1 COMES TO PHILADELPHIA IN 3 TEAM DEAL.
Thats right. Khalid "Sac-1" Sleiman waived his no-trade clause and is joining the Philadelphia 76ers. He was acquired for Danny Granger. In other trades, the Kings traded Kennedy Winston and Von Wafer for a big man in Johan Petro. Then the Kings signed Jamal Sampson and the Spurs waived Jabari Smith.

Head coach Mo Cheeks talks about the trade.
Image
Media: Why did u do this trade?
Cheeks: We think that Sac-1 is a promising young player that could help our team.
Media: How much playing time will he get?
Cheeks: I think he should get about 10-15 mins a game. It all depends on the situation.
Media: In other news, some of ur other bench players havent been getting much playing time. Will that change soon?
Cheeks: I was thinking of changing that. If some guy on the bench does nothing to help our team win a game, we might move him down in the depth chart or on the inactive list so other guys can see some game action.
Media: How do u think the Sixers have done so far this year?
Cheeks: We look very good right now and look to continue that way.
Media: Thanks for ur time Mr. Cheeks.

Now lets look at the recap of the week of Jan. 22-28.
First the Sixers found out that they were still first in the Power Rankings. The Spurs are now 2nd.

Then the Sixers beat the Warriors 96-78. In his Sixers debut, Sac-1 scored 3 points in 9 minutes of playing time.

Then the Sixers played the Nets. Up by 12 going into the 4th, the Sixers almost blew the lead but held on 85-82. Sac-1 saw his minutes go up to 22.

Then the Sixers found out about some news. 1/2 man 1/2 amazing from And1 has signed with the Raptors. He will join fellow streetballer Rafer Alston who has not been traded to the Rockets yet. I'll get that done later.

Then the Sixers lost to the Clippers in an exciting game 95-94. Down by 3, Iggy goes in for the dunk. Then Webber steals the inbounds pass but the Sixers could not score. Here are some pics of the game.

Good stuff, good to have Sac-1 aboard.

I believe Traylor was a member of the fab five in Michigan along with Webber. They are good friends.

I knew he went to Michigan and that they are friends but I wasn't sure if he was a member of the fab five so thanks for clearing that up.

Good Choice in grabbing Traylor he was huge off my bench in my cleveland dynasty last year he averaged like 8 points and i think 9 boards in like 15 min a game

P.S. i wasnt trying to be an ass i just know more about college basketball than i do NBA and if they had been at UM together they would have been a force to

Thanks guys for the continued support in this dynasty. As u already know, there is a newer version of live 06 out there. I just bought it, and will be starting a new 06 Sixers dynasty tomorrow. Anyone in this dynasty will automatically be put in the next dynasty. With that, this dynasty has been retired.
