The Washington Post is reporting that after continuous complaints made by Antawn Jamison about not being the go to guy for the Wizards, Wizards GM MJForever announced a deal with the Dallas Mavericks involving Jamison.

The deal sent Jamison and non used PG Mike Wilks to the Mavericks for All-Star forward Dirk Nowitzki and veteran Avery Johnson.

"We feel this deal will improve our team on both ends of the court. Offensively, Dirk's size and shooting ability will spread the defense and give Kwame a guy he can dish out to on the perimeter, and on defense he has a huge height advantage over opposing small forwards." MJForever told the Washington Post.

"I know what my role is with this team. Just play my style of game just becoming the second option on offense to Kwame Brown. I think everything will be great." Nowitzki said.

Five games into his career with the Washington Wizards, Dirk Nowitzki has been struggling a little bit offensively, especially with his 3 point shot, but coach Doug Collins is confident that Dirk will regain his form and that he didn't expect Nowitzki to be firing on all cyclinders so soon after being traded for the first time. (Milwaukee to Dallas on draft day doesn't count, he didn't play for the Bucks)

"I'll give him a few weeks and if he still hasn't got going, I will be all over him like stains on a rag.

Because he is my go to guy. The only for him to improve is to make him a primary threat on both ends of the court. So far into my 11-10 season, Kwame is #1 in the MVP Candidates.

I made another deal, I figured that having 3 big scorers wasn't helping my team chemistry, so I traded Rip Hamilton in a 3-way deal (not really, but it sounds better).

Rip and Dikembe Mutombo (FA pickup) went to the GS Warriors.
Desmond Mason went to Indiana.
Ron Artest went to the Wizards.

Starters:
Wallace
Kwame
Artest
Carter
Lue

This team is working much better for me now that I don't have to worry about getting 3 players big points. But I think I'll have to bring the minutes back down to 6 mins becoz in 8 min quarters, I'm getting 120+ points a game.

Kwame is still #1 in MVP Candidates with averages of:
31.8ppg
11.9rpg
6.5bpg
0.9spg
3.1apg (have been on the rise the last 5 games)

OK, It looks like I'll have to go back to 8 mins quarters. Not scoring enough points now. It took me 2OT's just to score 102 points.

I may be abandoning my Live 03 Franchise if 2K3 is as good as they say. It's my birthday tomorrow (May 19th) and I believe I will be getting NBA 2K3.

I got 2K3 today and after playing a few games to get used to it a little, I made my roster updates, created Yao Ming and Bobby Simmons, and started my franchise with the Wizards. So far 2-0. MJ is getting 34ppg in the first 2, while Haywood is dominating the boards at 12 a game.

I've alreadly seen the realism dif with T-Lue going down for 2 days with tendinitis in his right knee. Vince Carter (no I didn't trade for him) is out for a month with a bruised hip and Shammond Williams is out for almost 2 months with an abdominal strain.

I restarted my franchise on 2K3, and thus far, I'm 4-1. My latest victory coming over Cleveland. My next game comes against the 3-3 LA Lakers.

Stack is leading the way with 28ppg, and Christian Laettner leads the team in rebounding with 7 a game.

I've decided not to fire Doug Collins (not yet anyway) as I am 9-1 thus far in the season. Stackhouse is out injured for another 44 days with a sore hammy. MJ leads the way in scoring with 28.9ppg. Laettner is getting 6.8bpg and Lue who is currently starting, is getting 7.2apg.

I've traded Hidi, Laettner and a draft pick to Dallas for Dirk Nowitzki and Najera, and then I sent Dirk to the Nets for Jason Kidd.

My new current starting five:

PG- Kidd
SG- Hughes
SF- Jordan
PF- Kwame
C- Haywood

When Stackhouse returns, Jordan will move back to SG, Stack will be SF, and Hughes will come off the bench.

I've gone back to NBA Live and have restarted my franchise. In my second season, I have the Wizards real life team, except that Jordan signed with Utah, I signed Alonzo Mourning, dealt him to New Orleans for Matt Harpring, I then sent Harpring to the Clippers for Chauncey Billups.

My starters:
Haywood
Kwame
Stackhouse (10th in scoring)
Hughes
Billups (3rd in assists)

With Chauncey Billups, I was too tempted to trade him. So I dealt him to the Nets along with my rookie for Jason Kidd and Jason Collins. Kidd now wears his fav #32.

I simmed the franchise to the 5th year, and still without a championship. I still have my core group of guys together, and the starting line-up is now:

Haywood
Kwame
Artest (got him through trade for Hughes)
Stackhouse
Kidd

I still have Lue. Juan Dixon and Etan Thomsa left via FA this past off-season.

The rotation is

Haywood/Mourning
Kwame/Cobb (2nd year player)
Artest/Jeffries
Stackhouse/Giricek
Kidd/Lue

I have traded Jerry Stackhouse (94), Brendan Haywood (79) and Gordon Giricek (71) to the Spurs for Tim Duncan (90), Ginobili (82) and their rookie. I have since traded Ginobili to Milwaukee for the high flying Desmond Mason (82).
My current record is 3-4

Thoughts?

I got annoyed with that franchise so I've started again.

I simmed the first season and intensionally made the team bad (no, no trade were made) so I could get a decent draft pick. I ended up with the 3rd overall pick, and selected E. Bowie (84). After making several trades, this is now my team:

Haywood/ Thomas
Kwame/ Jeffries
Stackhouse/ Maggette
Hughes/ Simmons/ Dixon
Parker/ Lue/ Shand (rookie)

I feel very comfortable with this team.

2 games into the season, and currently standing at 1-1. Kwame Brown had a viscous double double in the loss, while Jerry Stackhouse was quiet during the first 3 quarter's because of foul trouble. But he scored 16 in the 4th to bring the Wizards back from 16 down, to lose by only 1.

Next game is in Portland.
