Wow, high scores.

two reasons why the scores were so high.
1. the game went into overtime
2. manu was off the hook, the spurs gave him the ball literally all the time, and i couldnt do anything on defense to stop him, therefore I had to counter him scoring everytime with my scoring, causing a running game and thus the extremely high score

thanks, I really like how this is going because each round is getting harder to win, exactly how a real nba playoff should be going.

yeah i know man, i was thinking.. damn this is a MJ like performance. The whole time i was thinking of like MJ's game at the Garden. But eventually we managed the game winning and put this manu-jordan down, just like Bird did too

yeah, they sure are a bitch. I espcically hate Bruce Bowen, he always has good games against me though he isnt that great of a player.

Ah, thank you very much for reminding me. I probably should have kept track for you guys the other side of the conferences and the other games that were going on as well. Next playoffs

great dynasty...............you should try using Radmonivic a little more, he can really lit it up from behind the arc from my experience

Sun Jul 16, 2006 3:59 pm

great game! would have been awesome to watch

Mon Jul 17, 2006 7:48 am

Wow, luck must be on your side in this dynasty. First you win like 482304832098 straight heading into the playoffs and then you have like a ton of down to the wire games, which you ALWAYS win.

Mon Jul 17, 2006 1:38 pm

woo nice. i had a good and pretty happy trip back from ohio... we flew over the white house and all that stuff as we made the turn from the airport.

also after i got back i watched Pirates of the Carribean 2: Dead Man's chest.. oh my fuckin god it was good :D

Mon Jul 17, 2006 11:54 pm

Same!!!!!!!!! The end was kinda suprising but it makes me come back for more

Good win! Probably the best active dynasty.

Tonight's game was not as close as game one as the Clippers managed to take a small lead and forced the Spurs to intentionally foul them. They made their free throws and prevented the Spurs from scoring... such a simple process.

One interesting note is that the Spurs called a timeout just as the clock went to 0.0 seconds left in the game. Suprisingly the referee let the take the timeout, then ended the game. The reason behind this is not known... perhaps the ref was on something illegal.

The Clippers had 3 players with double-doubles. Elton Brand and Corey Maggette both grabbed 10 rebounds with their scoring, while guard Sam Cassell scored 24 and dished out 10 assists; 6th man Shaun Livingston also played extremely well, scoring 16 points. The only other bench player to score was Vladmir Radmanovic with 2 points.

The Spurs' Nazr Mohammed was held to only 3 rebounds and no points. His start really seemed like a waste. Game one's starter Robert Horry only scored 7 points. Tony Parker was the only player with a double-double for the Spurs, he had only 12 points and 10 assists. Manu Ginobili was held to only 27 points. Bruce Bowen was the high point man in the game with 30 points and 9 rebounds.

This game marks the 10th straight playoff game the Clippers have won. They will now go to San Antoino for the next game, and a potential sweep... again.

Tue Jul 18, 2006 11:32 am

Call a timeout with 0.0 remaining, and 9 points down? Rofl, that's crazy.

Tue Jul 18, 2006 2:06 pm

Great Win, lol timeout 0.0!!!

Again this game came down to the Spurs intentionally fouling the Clippers in order to try to close the gap between the two teams. However the Clippers again showed that their hours of practice at the gym helped as they made all their free throws during the clutch period.

Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker, the Spurs backcourt, were the ones who led the charge against the Clippers. Corey Maggette and Mike Miller stepped up to score a total of 71 points together. Maggette also added 12 rebounds, Mike Miller and Elton Brand both also got 9 rebounds.

Robert Horry got the start again over Nazr Mohammod, but he was held to only 7 points, though he did save face by grabbed 10 rebounds; his points could have really helped his team though.

On other notes, Cleveland Cavs foward LeBron James suffered an injury to his leg and will be out for the rest of the playoffs. This will really hinder his team against the Sixers.
