A small amount of marijuana was found in Alston's car.
Alston charged with marijuana possession.
Bucks guard Rafer Alston was caught in Madison, Wisconsin during by the local police as Alston was doing 42 mph in a 30 mph-zone. The Police forces found a bag of marijuana in Alston's motor vehicle as well.
The policeman who caught Alston speeding, stated in his report :
Under the Wisconsin law, the penalty for marijuana possession is up to 6 months in prison, as it's Alston's first offense.
During the investigation, Rafer Alston isn't allowed to be with the team and could miss the whole season, if he is prosecuted. The Milwaukee Bucks have an open roster spot and are likely to use it up now.
Alston is averaging 7.3 points and 2.5 assists off the bench this season.
---------------------------------

House averaged 6.3 points last season for the Celtics.
Bucks use roster spot to sign Eddie House.
With the recent police investigations around Rafer Alston, the Bucks signed Eddie House to a 2-year deal. The deal is approximately worth around 5M.
House averaged 6.3 points last season for the Celtics, but wasn't re-signed.
House will make his debut against the Magic.

Granger leads Pacers over Warriors despite Tirieux's 35.
11/8/10 - Pacers (94) - Spurs (88)

Tirieux put together another excellent performance, but it wasn't enough against Sit and the Pacers.
Danny Granger scored 32 points and rookie Will Sit scored 13 points to lead the Pacers over the Warriors in Oracle Arena.
Thierry Tirieux had just come off from a 31 point/10 rebounds performance in his debut and finished with an even more impressive 35 points and 12 rebounds. Andris Biedrins had 18 points and 12 rebounds, but it wasn't enough.
Danny Granger finished with an all-around game of 32 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. TJ Ford had 17 points and 7 assists. William Sit added 13 points.
The game was even throughout the game, with the biggest lead being 5 points during the second quarter.
The fourth quarter started out with the scoreboard showing 70-69. Danny Granger and Will Sit scored 8 straight points, but Thierry wasn't having it. He responded with a 10-0 run, on his own.
With 35 seconds to go, the score was tied. Jim O'Brien called a time-out and drew up a play. Coach Nelson knew the ball was going to Granger. The inbound pass went to Granger, who was doubled.
Granger found Sit in the corner who drained the three. Tirieux quickly inbounded the ball to Ellis and ran to the corner. He waived his arms in the air, looking for the pass. But Ellis had other ideas and tried to tie game himself. He failed and Morris Almond and Troy Murphy set the final score with free throws.

mad props to TH50; he's like LEBRON-LITE! so much for an exciting RotY race though lol; the reason i wish you would've rated everyone a little closer
at least Ocho's kickin' much ASS! but i don't agree w/him having more steals than blocks, and less blocks that TH50 is just WRONG!

in keeping with his concept, i guess he won't be real dominant til his 8th season lol
dynasty's going well; almost makes me wanna get back into it
Mon Nov 16, 2009 4:18 am
Clutch, yeah, the blocks are a bit off. I edited a guards info and probably missed to increase the blocking rating.
The ratings aren't actually that far apart :
Tirieux - 85
Ocho - 77
Cruz - 77
Madden 76
Sit - 75
Crabman - 75
Resurreccion - 75
Sky - 75
Dieudonne - 75
Jansons - 74

I second that.
Next step is for me to work hard at my game over the Summer. I got some catching up to do but with a rival I am more motivated to catch up and beat him.

Typical of Monta... trade him or kill him like Lamrock did

Redd's hits long three at the buzzer to beat the Magic.
12/6/10 - Bucks (122) - Magic (119)

Redd's three came from way down-town, out of a broken inbound-play.
Hakim Warrick and Rashard Lewis went head-to-head in the fourth, both scoring and trying to overplay the other, but it was Michael Redd who a long three at the buzzer to lift the Bucks over the Magic 122-119.
Warrick finished with 27 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Bucks. Andrew Bogut added 19 points, 9 rebounds and a career-high 8 blocks. Brandon Jennings had 21 points and 7 assists.
A key to the Bucks' success were Kyle Korver and new addition Eddie house, who combined to shoot 5-9 from long rang and finish with 24 points. House also had 4 assists and 2 steals in just 15 minutes.
Dwight Howard and Rashard Lewis both had 20+ points and 10+ rebounds, but in the end were outplayed by the Bucks front-court.
In the fourth quarter, Brandon Jennings had a chance to win the game, but missed a three. In the OT though, he did hit a three, leaving the Magic just 5.9 seconds to survive.
Vince Carter showed why he is still considered a top shooting guard in the NBA, as he didn't hesitate and knocked down the game-winning three over Michael Redd with 1.9 seconds to go.
Scott Skiles drew up a play, which saw Brandon Jennings shooting a free-throw jumper. He couldn't get free, as Jamaal Tinsley was superb defensively and didn't get stuck in Bogut's screen. With the 5 second-count approaching quickly, Wilson Chandler passed the ball to Michael Redd, who had to shoot a desperation three from very far away.
It was like his game-winner against Cleveland a few years back and it hit nothing but net.
The play was reviewed from several angles and the refs agreed, it had left his hands before the red light had turned on.
