Aight guys thanks for your patience while this dynasty has been on a 2 week hiatus....this will be a long ass recap taking up a single post....several things to cover, including brief game-by-game recaps, power rankings, standings, and of course, the tracking of all nlsc players. lets start with one player who made news in the nba.
PATTERSON SUFFERS SEVERE CAR ACCIDENT
Patterson was going to have a promising career. Too bad he spammed too much.
CJ Patterson was a star player in the NBDL with the Albuerquerque Thunderbirds. Averaging 14.3 PPG, some scouts thought he would have potential to do well in the NBA. The Suns appeared to have interest in him. When a Suns scout showed up for the game against the Arkansas RimRockers, Patterson had 32 points on 10-14 shooting. The Suns immediately signed him to a contract. He celebrated by going out to a bar and drinking 6 beers. On his way there on the highway he fell asleep and ended up hitting a llama, and was severely injured. Doctors said he would never be able to play basketball again, but he would survive. The last thing anyone heard him say was "o.o NOOOOO DAMN IT. imm miss all of it... rrrrrrrrr"... With that, the Suns released him, and somehow their popularity magically grew.
Now onto transactions/team injuries.....
Mart Lepik has been signed by the Lakers and
Devin Green has been released.
Ivan Shchipansky has been traded to the Denver Nuggets for
Nene. Shchipansky had talked about getting a deal made and hopefully stuff will change here in Denver. Nene had 8 pts, 9 rebs, and 2 blks in his debut.
After the T-Wolves game, the Bobcats release
Andrew Watson. He was then signed by Dallas, who released
DJ Mbenga.
The Sonics release
Noel Felix.
The Trailblazers have just signed
Karim El-Esawy and released
Voshon Lenard.
The Bulls sign
Jelani McCoy and release
Luke Schenscher.
Jing Xu was injured in the Cavs game with a sore thumb. He will stay home for the New Year's day game against Portland but is expected to come back for the Hawks game.
Conrad Burry will start in his place.
The Heat release
Earl Barron.
In the Bobcats win over the Hawks,
Robert Skrnjug suffered a broken finger. He will be out against Denver and might miss the game against Dallas.
