NEW KNICKS LOSE. BY ONLY 2 POINTS!

Play of the Day - Jingy to Sitty on the break.

NEW YORK, November 2 (Ticker) -- In what looked to be a dream night for the NEW New York Knicks, the Celtics lead by new addition Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West managed to hold on for a 2 point win.
Szczerbiak connected on 4 of his 6 threes and 14 of his 24 points in the 4th quarter to keep the Celtics from losing their lead they had kept all game.

"This team will shock everybody all season. They certainly shocked us. They got game, each one of the. Their is no star performer, and thats what is special bout them, you cant focus on shutting down 1 or 2 guys, you have to focus on shutting down 9 or 10 guys." Paul Pierce commented on the new Knicks.

What was most suprising, was how well the Knicks shot the ball. They stank from the foul line, but they shot 50% for the game and 58% from 3, making 10. Their key was sharing the ball. They had 28 assists lead by "Zmac" who had 8, compared to Bostons 20.
Andrew "X" Watson, who was projected to play no more than 10 minutes, because of his stamina issues and his size. But after he connected on 3 threes in the first qtr, Coach Rodman couldnt help to keep him on the court and it payed off as he hit 5 of 5 threes and 7 of 8 shots to lead his team for 19 points, closely followed by Will Sit with 17 and Zmac with 15.

In the end it came to experience, as the Knicks had a chance to tie, but were pressured and couldnt manage to get off a shot as time expired.

Damn, I was hoping that you'd loose by about 50-60 points. Some of you put up pretty wild numbers, good luck to you all in the next game.

Thanks mate. Its simple and clean, but effective.
9mins for when I play full games. 10 when I intervene at the 3rd qtr, 12 when I intervene at 4th qtr.

Play of the Day - Mark feeds Zmac the huge alley.

NEW YORK, November 4 (Ticker) --The crowd roared like never before. The moment the New Knicks stepped onto the court, to the moment the left back to their motel, people couldnt stop screaming and they had good reason. The Knicks pulled out their first victory with an 8 point thriller over the Bucks.

Lead by Captain Zac Mousoulis and co-captain Will Sit, the Knicks had their offense running hot all game and had the Bucks playing catch up as the Knicks had 30 assists.
"The crowd was just.....ahh, it...it was great, sent tingles up my spine. It really won us the game, we played hard so we could hear them yell louder. Id really like to give it to the fans as they were a big part of our win." "Zmac" said after the game.

The Bucks opened the fourth with an 8-0 outburst, but the Knicks countered with 2 3 balls from Zac and Conrad and never looked back.
Yet again the Knicks shot a lot of threes and made them too. They are hitting the most threes out of any team in the league after the first week.

"We saw them shoot the lights out from 3 against Boston and we tried our best to contain these guys. But they totally shocked us, we didnt think they were the real deal. But everyone better watch out, they have game.....the whole team, from the starting 5 to the 12th man." Michael Redd speaking of the Knicks.

"I been tellin our guys that all they need to do, crash the boards, run down as quick as you can to the offense end of the court, ya know what Im saying, and either jack a open three, or setup an all round, inside out game, so the opposition team dont know what the fu...hell is goin on.
See these other cats dont know what the hell is gonna happen, and thats why we outpla...ahh shi--oot, im late for the party at...yeah anyway, im out." Coach Dennis Rodman said as he ran out.

The Knicks face the Warriors at home again November 6.
