Paul Pierce vs. Kyle Korver will be the nights big matchup.

Paul Pierce too Accurate for Bucks Defence
The young Milwaukee team loses another preseason match.

Milwaukee
Points: Korver, 23
Rebounds: Wallace, 14
Assists: Ford, 7

Boston
Points: Pierce, 25
Rebounds: Magloire, 9
Assists: Banks, 5

Paul Piece shot 11-14 to get Milwaukee to a second straight loss in the preseason.
Granted the preseason isn't the most important part of the season, however it is always nice to win games and that is something that just isn't happeneing at Milwaukee at the moment.

The Milwaukee lineup is young, and has lost alot quite a bit of offence in the offseason to make way for a more defensive team. The defence works well, but it leaves problems in the offence without efficient scorers on the court.

Offensive rebounds were the story of the night for Milwaukee, as they grabbed 21 offensive boards and cleaned up on the glass. Ben Vuu is extremely active in offense, all three of his rebounds were offensive, 8 or Wallace's 14 were as well.

The next, and final, preseason match is against Cleveland. Terry Stotts hopes all the rookies will get a lot of court time in this match.

Player of the Game
Paul Pierce
25 points
5 rebounds
3 assists
2 steals

Tough loss man, I think you should shoot less 3s with Korver. :P

Thu Feb 16, 2006 9:01 am

A lot of his 3's came late in the game when I was trying to make up the difference :?

Thu Feb 16, 2006 4:56 pm

Bad luck, Korver will start hitting those 3's soon

Corey Maggette soars high for the flush off the fast-break.

Ilgauskas and Hughes take the Cavs past Bucks
Milwaukee has no chance to win a match in the preseason, losing their third and final match to Cleveland.

Milwaukee
Points: Korver, 18
Rebounds: Jefferson, 13
Assists: Ford, 8

Boston
Points: Hughes, 33
Rebounds: Ilgauskas, 14
Assists: Hughes - Snow - James, 4

Once again the Bucks have lost, once again they were inaccurate, and the opposition wasn't.
Ilgauskas shot 12-14, many goals coming from offensive rebounds, Hughes was also good with 33 points on 13-17 shooting.

If any highpoints are to be taken from this preseason, it is the shining stars in Rolf Rider and Ben Vuu. Rider had 15points and 3 assists, Vuu had the only 4 blocks for the team.

Coming into the regular season, Milwaukee needs to improve on their rebounding and shooting percentages, trying to get Korver back into his form from the previous season.

Player of the Game
Zyndrunas Ilgauskas
26 points
14 rebounds
2 assists
2 blocks
1 steal

The rookie Rider gets his first career block, Vuu helps in defence.

Bucks Blowout Bobcats
Great defence and shooting gets Milwaukee to a huge first win.

Milwaukee
Points: Bogut, 28
Rebounds: Wallace, 11
Assists: Ford, 8

Charlotte
Points: Stoudamire, 17
Rebounds: Okafor, 8
Assists: Stoudamire, 5

Milwaukee breaks it's three game losing streak from the preseason with a blowout against the Charlotte Bobcats. It gave the Bucks yet another chance to get a good look at their rookies, giving them some minutes at the conclusion of the game.

The rookies played excellent defence, the combination of Vuu, Jefferson, Pierce, Bollo and Diaw was a strong defensive lineup, yet was still able to score well.

Andrew Bogut played an excellent game, top scoring as well as being great at the other end of the court. Ben Wallace had 4 steals and 4 blocks in an awesome defensive effort.

Milwaukee takes on Kobe Bryant and the LA Lakers next match, hopefully another blowout in our favour.

Player of the Game
Andrew Bogut
28 points
9 rebounds
2 assists
2 steals
3 blocks

Go Bogut!!!

Because of school this year, Im unable to find enough time to not only write recaps, but even play the games.

If I end up finding time to play any games, I might be able to post some recaps every game-month or so, but even that is unlikely.

Thanks everyones for your support during this dynasty, I wish I had the time to keep it going :(

Noooooooooooooooooo (N) I don't want to see this one stopping!
