Awesome, where did you get your CAP's, btw, or did you just make them yourself?

Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:54 am

CAP's :?:

Fri Aug 05, 2005 3:58 am

Create-A-Player, ya' know like you told me to do in my thread? Although you dont have any rookies in this dyansty.

Fri Aug 05, 2005 4:03 am

I don't have them in this Franchise because I started it way before the Draft. I'm working on the rookies though, and they'll be in the Draft for this season. Along with any NLSC members who want to be in my Franchise for next season.

As the suddenly Red Hot Philadelphia 76ers Got Ready for battle against the Indiana Pacers, many thought this would be the night where the Pacers would get their revenge from the beating they receive last time these two teams met. But the beating only got worse as the Philadelphia 76ers Held Ron Artest to 5 and Indiana to 85 points to preserve a 111-85 vicory. It wasn't a beating only in scoring, the 76ers manhandled the Pacers in every category. The only pluses for the Pacers were the great play of star Jermaine O'Neal who finished with 23 Points and veteran guard Reggie Miller who added 13. As for the Sixers, things could not be looking better right now. With the win, they have moved ahead of the Pacers in the Standings. After beating the Suns, Mavs and Pacers, the Sixers will now face yet another challenge, The Detroit Pistons. Will AI and C-Webb have enough for Philadelphia to extend their win streak? We'll find out when they face Rip, Chauncey and Wallace X2.

Huge win, knock another one up. Nice job, Sensation, keep it rollin'. AI was 14 out of 19? That is huge! Nice job.

Fri Aug 05, 2005 12:57 pm

Thanks. The team usually does well in FG% and that's a huge plus.

Yes, my dream comes true. The Sixers defeated the Pacers. Pacers think they are the best team in the league but I don't think so. Good job Sensation. I hope you can sweep the season series against the Pacers, 4-0! :D

I already sweeped them 2-0. It's a 56-game Franchise. Thanks for the comments, bro. Hope to see you around more often.

Thanks. Like I said before, the team usually shoots great from the field. The team's Season FG% is well over 50%. :)

Goodluck on your game against the Pistons. I hope you can also beat them. Don't get intimidated by the Pistons. Show them why the Sixers is the best team in this league. :D

Orlando Magic Preview

Image

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Orlando Magic last met on Day One of the NBA Regular Season. The 76ers won that game but they know that this game will be much tougher than the one in October. The 76ers must shut down guard Steve Francis and not let him get hot, like he did last game. Allen Iverson will have his hands full. The Orlando Magic are a much more improved team after acquiring Jalen Rose from the Raptors and sending Grant Hill to Toronto in return. Hill was struggling and suffering from injuries and his age is a huge factor. On the other hand Jalen Rose is averaging 20 Points Per Game. Chris Webber and Allen Iverson have been playing exceptional lately and if Orlando wants any chance of getting the W, they will have to find a way to stop AI and C-Webb. Also keep an eye on Rookie Dwight Howard who's having a great season and is the front runner for the NBA's Rookie of the year Award. This game sure will provide a lot of excitement.

Iverson Nets Season-High, Sixers Take Care of Orlando

Magic Boxscore

Player of the Game: Allen Iverson- 42 PTS, 11 AST

It was another day at work for Allen Iverson and the 76ers as they defeated the Orlando Magic by Double Digits. The story of the night was Allen Iverson's impressive but usual effort of 42 Points, a season-high for AI and 11 Assists. Chris Webber also gave a solid effort with 22 Points but had an off night in the Rebounds and Assists column. Another key to Philadelphia's victory was containing "The Franchise" Steve Francis to only 11 Points but Francis finished with 15 Dimes. The First Quarter was mostly led by the Magic who took advantage of Philadelphia's poor shooting and constant turnovers. The second was no different as Philadelphia continued to turn the ball over and take terrible shot selections but faired better than the First as they cut into the Orlando Lead. In the second half, the Sixers got the ball down low to Webber who made no mistakes and slowly brought Philadelphia the lead going into the Fourth. In the last quarter, Orlando managed to take the lead back as the game went back and forth but the Sixers managed to take a commanding lead in the dying moments and pick up the victory.
