James sucks. :)) Why don't you increase your quarter length to get some realistic scores?

I was thinking about doing that and it's a strong possibility for the future, but for now it will stay at 6. I know what you mean about the scores; the next I would go up to is 8 min.

Cats blowout Raps in awful Toronto showing

Image

TEAM | Q1 | Q2 | Q3 | Q4 | FNL
Image | 10 | 5 | 16 | 8 | 39
Image | 17 | 20 | 12 | 27 | 76

The Raptors somehow managed to blow a game to one of the bottom-feeders in the East, and bad. Toronto played terrible on both ends of the court, allowing veteran Corey Maggette to have a "turn back the clock" showing in this one. The Raptors will just have to put this game behind them and move on.

Key Performers

Toronto Raptors

Andrea Bargnani: 18 Pts, 6 Reb, 1 Blk
DeMar DeRozan: 7 Pts, 3 Reb, 1 Stl, 1 Blk

Charlotte Bobcats

Corey Maggette: 26 Pts, 5 Reb, 2 Ast
Kemba Walker: 15 Pts, 3 Reb, 1 Ast
Tyrus Thomas: 9 Pts, 8 Reb, 1 Stl, 2 Blk
D.J. Augustin: 9 Pts, 1 Reb, 4 Ast, 1 Stl

Valiant team effort by Raptors helps them gain W in Milwaukee

Image

REC | TEAM | Q1 | Q2 | Q3 | Q4 | FNL
[7-17] Image | 10 | 22 | 19 | 17 | 68
[9-12] Image | 18 | 10 | 15 | 15 | 58

Well played team basketball helped the Raptors come away with the victory in this one. They got off to a slow start, but a well-balaced effort on both ends of the court helped them extend the lead to double digits. Their defense was stellar, as aside from Drew Gooden, the Bucks starters shot a measly 13/46. The Raptors will return home after this game to host Joe Johnson and the Hawks this Friday at 7:30 PM EST.

Key Performers

Toronto Raptors

- Andrea Bargnani: 14 Pts, 9 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 1 Blk
- Linas Kleiza: 12 Pts, 4 Reb, 1 Ast
- James Johnson: 10 Pts, 2 Reb, 5 Ast, 1 Stl
- Aaron Gray: 8 Pts, 3 Reb, 2 Ast
- DeMar DeRozan: 8 Pts, 3 Reb, 1 Ast, 1 Blk
- Jamaal Magloire: 8 Pts (8 Min), 1 Reb, 1 Stl

Milwaukee Bucks

- Drew Gooden: 15 Pts, 6 Reb, 1 Stl
- Monta Ellis: 12 Pts, 6 Reb, 1 Blk

Reports: Dallas offered Kidd to the Raps for Barg

Image Image

The Dallas Mavericks have reportedly offered aging veteran and future Hall of Fame PG Jason Kidd to the Toronto Raptors for former number one overall draft pick F/C Andrea Bargnani. Toronto presumably had 0 interest in the deal and it died shortly thereafter. Kidd helped the Mavericks to a title last season.

Timberwolves, Raptors swap JJ Barea and Amir Johnson

Image Image

With the emergence of PG Ricky Rubio and already having a proven starter in PG Luke Ridnour, the Minnesota Timberwolves contacted the Toronto Raptors with the offer of PG Jose (JJ) Barea for C/F Amir Johnson. The trade was completed today and will add some solid big-man depth for the Wolves while giving the Raptors a championship proven combo guard in JJ. Minnesota will absorb Johnson's $34M ($6.8M per year), 5-year contract, while Toronto will only take in a 1-year, $1.75M deal with Barea.

Not much winning is a shame.. :|

And why aren't you playing Ed Davis? He's way better than Aaron Gray and Jamaal Magloire isn't he? I'd give him the start. :P

Plus trade Jose so Bayless can start, he's a beast!

Yea this year is pretty much a tanker it looks like, that's why I'm simming. Just playing games here and there and hoping for good draft position. Once I build a team that I can get any seed in the playoffs with I'll play a lot more games in those seasons. :)

Davis has a really low rating like a 63. I was playing him in limited minutes before the Barea trade but after that he kind of had to fall out of the rotation. I'll try developing him though if I don't trade him (Y) Plus Gray is a legit 7-footer and Magloire is like 6'11"; I like that size with Bargnani playing out on the perimeter often. Trading Jose is something I'm planning on; it will be towards the deadline. I'm comfortable with Bayless being the starting PG going forward.

Good to hear Jose is on his way out. I might try swap him for another PG in my dynasty too. In Live he can get crazy hot, and is pretty beast in the fourth, but can't do much else.

Also, just realised that you wrote "Mavericks, Raptors swap etc." in the news box instead of "Timberwolves, Raptors swap etc.". ;)

I'm having a problem with uploading replays. I'm using a 360 and I used to use a USB stick for my memory device but then transferred everything over to the system and unplugged it, but it still says I need a hard drive even though I'm pretty sure I'm using one. Anyone know how to fix this?

Collison, Pacers hand Toronto 8th-straight loss

Image

REC | TEAM | Q1 | Q2 | Q3 | Q4 | FNL
[22-15] Image | 20 | 19 | 14 | 20 | 73
[9-30] Image | 11 | 9 | 14 | 16 | 50

A tough one to swallow, but another hard loss against a better team for the Raptors. As always, the development of big man Andrea Bargnani was put on display, and is a really bright spot for their future during these rough times. He went off for 21 points. Indian's Darren Collison single-handedly dismantled Toronto's defense though. They will jump to a soild 22-15 on the season.

Key Performers

Indiana Pacers

- Darren Collison: 26 Pts, 1 Reb, 4 Ast, 1 Stl
- David West: 14 Pts, 10 Reb, 3 Ast, 1 Stl

Toronto Raptors

- Andrea Bargnani: 21 Pts, 6 Reb, 1 Ast
- DeMar DeRozan: 7 Pts, 2 Reb, 2 Ast, 1 Blk
