Final Game of Training Camp

Image

Scouting Report: His numbers don't say much, but to throw in a cliche, numbers don't always tell the story. 2 points, 3 assists and 4 rebounds... not exactly a stat-line of LeBron James... but he did something in this game that nobody saw him do throughout his career so far. He was setting screens like a pro! He helped create mismatches and made Luke Ridnour's job much easier. He committed no turnovers as well. The game was a huge step in Kenny Young's maturing process as a player. He proved he can be the guy that does the little things right.

Teammate Grade: A

Man, you're FG shooting is way down, that was one thing I was good at. :P Mostly because I took like 1 jumpshot per game.

Hope you make the team, though wouldn't know about your playing time there.

Martti is right, your FG% is low. Do you take good shots? 1 FG a game sometimes gets you nowhere although you had one game where you went 4/6. You really know how to distribute the ball though. (Y)

Thanks to everyone for reading, but for now I'm going to shelve this story. I love the My Player mode, but the 5 minute quarters make it hard to stay motivated since it's so hard to be up with the rest of the NBA. I've started an association though that I'm really enjoying and will probably stick with... so stay tuned for that :)

And yes, my Denver dynasty is still going... it's just hard for me to get to my ps3 at the moment.

I thought that you can just go into the settings once you're in your My Player and change the quarter length that way. In fact, I just did that a few days ago. Anyway, I'll be looking to what you have in store for us next.

I did the same, quit My Player and went for an Association. My reason was playing 9-min quarters and averaging 25-8-6 off the bench for the Grizz while being rated 48.

Good luck with your association, whatever team you might choose. In the meanwhile keep updating the Nuggets. :)
