tough loss to the Nets... but at least you got to posterize someone with that absolutely NASTY flush

Cheers Clutch !!

Dunking on Devin Harris was about the only thing i could do right against him :D he has to be one of the hardest players to guard in 2k !

Thanks for following , i never thought id be having this much fun with the Kings but i really am.

One thing that i think really makes 2k more enjoyable is whoever you choose to do your season with up there "Run Plays" up to the max in the coaching bit so that even if your not exactly running a play by the book theres still loads of off the ball movement going on which reminds me alot of Nba Live 10 !

Standings are very weird. Nets, Knicks, Wizards above .500 and the Magic and C's below it. :D

Recap

Close game kept close by Danny Granger as he single handedly lead a 4th quarter comeback for the visitors.

Donte Greene exploded off the kings bench with 27 points which is what coach Paul Westphal has being looking for when he named Greene 6th man. Kings pull the trigger !

Image Image
Image Image

In a huge effort to vamp the current roster today the Kings announced that they had made a deal that they feel could help them in the short term and clear cap space.

They worked up a deal with the Hornets sending starters Andres Nocioni and Beno Udrih in return for old town great sharp shooting Peja Stojakovic and rookie point guard Darren Collison.

The deal cleared more than 50 million dollars in future salaries owed to Beno and Nocioni freeing up even more cap space for the 2010 free agent class which includes LeBron and Wade.

In other Kings News the team has signed another old Sac town hero in Bobby Jackson , the 36 year veteran in expected to play little but be a mentor to Tyreke Evans and now Darren Collison.

Recap

Peja's home coming was a no show by the Kings players and Stojakovic himself shooting a poor 1-9 from the floor for just 3 points on his return to Sactown he did add 8 rebounds in his 1st start playing 27 minutes but the Kings overall shot just 32% from the field.

Agent Zero was back to his best with a great all around performance as he pretty much single handed shot the Wizards to victory getting some help from Randy Foye and JaVale McGee.

Darren Collison played only 14 minutes scoring 2 points but also had 2 turnovers while Bobby Jackson didnt leave the bench but was seen coaching Collison and Tyreke Evans late in the game.

Recap

Tyreke Evans toyed with a triple double as the star Kings rookie cruised to victory over the deflated Timberwolves just days after it was Minny handing the Kings a home loss of there own.

Evans , Landry and Hawes were all given a warning to up there efforts by head coach Paul Westphal after 2 weeks of sub par performances , Landry was a game away from being replaced in the starting lineup by promising 2nd year forward/center Jason Thompson just days after the team traded away Andres Nocioni and Beno Udrih due to poor play poor fg% and poor defence.

Landry responded with a 20 point game on 6-9 shooting from the floor and getting to the line at will hitting 8-9 making his coach very happy to see his power forward playing closer to the basket drawing fouls instead of shooting jumpshots.

Al Jefferson was a man on a mission in the paint claiming 6 off rebounds and put backs for a double double of 24 points 20 rebounds which was the 2nd time this season he had hit for 20 and 20.

Tough to see Peja play so poorly in his debut/return, but that's how he was in my Grizzlies association. I found it very tough to get him going most of the time.
