After a long season with the Blazers,the young bulgarian guy - Maxim Vantchev is no more with the Blazers.They offered him a new contract but he decided to go with the Cavs because of better contract :

The ex-Blazers GM,Maxim Vanthcev was today announced as the new Cleveland Cavaliers general manager.He decided to pick them because of better contract.He also thanked the Blazers for the nice year,they finished first in the West and played in the Western Conference Finals.The last year for the Cavs was not so good,they couldn't make the playoffs and now with Vantchev they think that they can make the playoffs and again play nice games.The Cavs will open the season at Boston Celtics tomorrow.

Lebron was unstoppable as the Cavs smashed the Celtics

The Cleveland Cavaliers started the season with amazing win over the NBA Champions - Boston Celtics.The Celtics couldn't make anything - 108 to 77.The L-Train was just unstoppable.Lebron scored 40 points and added 11 assists,3 rebounds and 2 blocks for the win.They double teamed him but he passed the ball and they were scoring and scoring..Sasha Pavlovic scored 15 points(3 3pointers).Boobie Gibson scored 12 and Glen Davis added 10 in his first game as a Cavalier.Zydrunas Ilgauskas was near the double-double with 8 points and 9 rebounds.Ben Wallace added 6 points and 7 rebounds.The rookie Noel Chambers played only 6 minutes but he scored 8 points.Ben Arthur,the other rookie,played 4 and scored 5.Maurice Williams played only 12 minutes because of injury but he finished with 2 points,2 rebounds and 7 assists.Juwan Howard scored most for the Celtics..10 points.9 players from the C's scored 8+ points.Rajon Rondo had nine and 4 rebounds,7 assists.Kendrick Perkins added 8 same as Garnett,Ray Allen,Eddie House.
