Third game against Los Angeles Clippers. First home game, and we caught our win and didn’t disappoint our fans. We managed to win only because of the opponents bad shooting. They hit only 7 of their 17 free-throw attempts. We were surprisingly bad in holding the ball. We made 20 turnovers meanwhile they made 10. Another good game by Carmelo Anthony, scored 31 points, took 7 rebounds, made 4 assists, did 2 steals and blocked one shot. As Carmelo plays good there is two other guys who support him. One is Linas Kleiza who tonight had 24 points and the other is Horace Hart who had career high 23 points. “Yeah I had a good night but I believe that that’s all I can do.” Said Horace after the game. LA Clippers top scorer and also game high was Baron Davis. He had 40 points, 11 assists, 4 rebounds and 1 steal. “When your team looses then you can’t say that it was good night, I’m totally angry at myself because we lost the game by 6 points. If I had hit the free-throw’s, we would have been winners.” Said Baron. He hit 1 of his 7 attempts behind the free-throw line.

Hart has started the season really good. Nice donk

Forth game against Los Angles Lakers. We made the game manly because of the fourth quarter that we won by 16 points. Better team play made us the game. We gave 26 assists while Lakers gave only 15.
“It is all starting to come together now, I can see that the team want to win and put the effort in every game. We can see that from rebounding totals. We took 42 rebounds in total.” Coach George Karl said after the match.
What’s more we had pretty good help from our bench. 54 points of our 106 came from our bench players. The best thing is that Horace Hart scored 34 points, hitting 15 of his 22 shot attempts from the field, gave 3 assists, took 2 rebounds and made 1 steal. Sarunas Jasikevicus showed that although his ageing we can’t amortize him. With only 8 minutes in game he scored 10 points, gave 3 assists, made 2 steals and took 1 rebound. Linas Kleiza had a bit weaker performance as he scored 16 points but missed all his 6 tries behind the three point line. Carmelo Anthony had another good night. Scored 26 points, took 7 rebounds, gave 4 assists and made 3 steals. Lakers bench just sat there and did nothing that’s why they lose. Although their starting five made pretty good game then there were no support from bench.

Fifth game against Phoenix Suns. At the beginning there was everything going wrong. And we were really happy to still be in the game. Deron Williams, Amaire Stoudemire and Boris Diaw did it all to stop us. But again the Bench helped us.
“I said to my guys that we have to give all that we can to win the game and just force our own game on.” Commented George Karl.
Barbosa was confused against his former team. Couldn’t to anything. Luckily we had Jasikevicus coming off the bench. He had good game scoring 10 points and giving 7 assists. The Nuggets trio was on fire again. Scored 74 points together.
At the beginning it was hard but we managed to come back and win the game, it was mostly because off the strong third and forth quarter that we won.
Carmelo Anthony had another good game scoring 29 points, taking 12 rebounds, giving 3 assists and making 1 steal.

Sixth game against Sacramento Kings. Although we did 17 turnovers, incredible shooting made us the game. We shot the ball over 60%. Their backcourt duo was pretty though and they produced us pretty much of a head ache. Our team play and very calm head in some situations brought us back from some hard spots. Sacramento played very well but as they have a young team then they don’t have the needed experience in some situations. Boozer had a great game as he took incredible 15 rebounds. What’s more, Horace Hart had a fantastic night scoring 34 points, taking 4 rebounds, giving 4 assists and making 1 steal.
” Well I guess I’m just getting into the swing pretty well and just do what I can to help my team to win.” Hart told to interviewer.
Jasikevicus showing again that we can’t amortize him. He scored tonight 16 points and gave 9 assists and he came off the bench.

Seventh game against Chicago Bulls.The game was hard. We did it all to win but unfortunately it wasn’t enough. First quarter was like any other and we were about to win but then it was starting to happen’. Horace Hart got injured, Kleiza started missing from free positions and Anthony wasn’t himself.
“When Hart got injured then we just fell prostration and couldn’t to anything.” Carmelo saying what was the reason of loosing.
We did something like 4 or 5 turnovers in a row. And they did all their fast break opportunities.
“Hart might be out for days now, I talked to Victor Dominguez our teams trainer and he said that it’s not good at all.” Coach George Karl said.
After game it was sure that Hart will be out for 7 days. Well at the beginning I thought that he will be out for longer so it’s good that he will be back soon. Chicago was playing really good if they manage to hold on like that then they are a certain playoff contender. I hope we can do better in our next game.

It was hard, and Tyrus Thomas serving up a facial.

It is all different now as Hart got injured.

Although they can be happy over the victory they
have a little concern too as Chris Duhon got injured

Eight game against Detroit Pistons. After a huge loss at Chicago we continued our road trip and we arrived to Detroit. Hart sitting on bench and so someone else had to step up to replace him.
It was about third quarter that brought us the victory. First quarter was normal but we couldn’t get our engine running. At the end of first quarter there was a minor injury caught up by Boozer, luckily he was back at the second quarter. Few minutes gone at the second quarter and Anthony called up for his third foul. Only 16 points by Anthony and 6 fouls.
”I let Jaskevicus in at starting five as Barbosa hasn’t shown what he got. I know he has it all but he just need a bit more time to gather himself up.” Coach Karl commentated why we had Jasikevicus in starting five.
And Jasikevicus showed that it was justified decision to let him in. 12 points and 11 assists. Larry Hughes had a good night scored game high 29 points, gave 7 assists, made 2 steals and took 1 rebound. It wasn’t enough as Barbosa scored 24 and Kleiza 26 points.

Ninth game against Cleveland Cavaliers. It was retro week and both teams wore 1986/87 season outfit. Both teams put up an incredible game. And the spectators got it for all the money. There was everything starting with dunks and ending with lay-ups. We managed to come back from 19 point loss to tie and get the game to overtime. The teams were so even that we couldn’t win it with one overtime. It took us two overtimes and we got the loss.
”It is always disappointing when you give up a game like this.” Carmelo said after the game. ”Bron will be rubbing it under my nose for ages now.” He added and laughed.
Carmelo had 42 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals. But he was not the player of the game. And player of the night wasn’t even Sarunas Jasikevicus who scored career high 38 points, gave 15 assists, took 3 rebounds and made 1 steal. It was Delonte West from Cavs had a career night scoring 45 points, gave 16 assists, took 2 rebounds and made 1 steal.
“It is always good feeling if you can help your team to a win and if you have a night like that as well then it’s just amazing.” West said.
Final score 149 to 144.

LJ23 showing again that he must not be the
