exactly my point of view :D promising rookie for veteran it's not going to happen :D

Sat Sep 20, 2008 7:24 pm

well the point of dynasty is to take control of your team your own way and let the opponents think for themselves...if Memphis (which is obviously CPU controlled) does not agree with the trade, then it's fine...try the other offers...

:)

Sat Sep 20, 2008 9:30 pm

But in dynasty francies story's it should be kept realistic ;)

Sat Sep 20, 2008 9:38 pm

Actually, I think trading away Odom is just not worth it. Just my 2 cents.

kaiser_kobe wrote:This is a great Lakers dynasty...on the trades, i think the memphis would be the better out of them...not the best bcoz i would rather want Ariza to stay and not Antoine walker to be in our team...he sucks.

I thought so too, coz i've a chance to get 2 promising rookies in mayo and arthur.. Im sorry i cant find playing time for ariza coz of odom, walton and yue at SF, i also dont feel walker for the team especially with his overpaid salary (the only good thing i think of him is, what if i use him to play like a horry-the veteran clutch)

-PeeBo wrote:phonix has given you most interesting option I would go with that if i were you :)

I love boris diaw's game, i think he can execute the triangle very well with his height, speed and bball IQ.. the only negative is that he's got $9.00M with him, the management needs to dispose big pay slips off their wallets. I might have to trade diaw again if that's the case.

OrlMagic wrote:I think the memphis trade would be best. Are you want get rid of Odom?. :-(

yes dude, the boss doesnt want a $14M-dollar man as our 4th option.. Its just unnecessary for their business. I hope u understand the nature of this game also, its like "the players just come and go"

fumanchu wrote:getting rid of odom is I think for the best of the team... if i were to choose from the proposals, i'd choose Memphis and think of trading walker...cause like Kaiser mentioned, he sucks! hehe

haha.. u know what makes him sucks? its bcoz he's a ball-hog, he's just a scorer, not a LEADER, not even a STAR.. He doesnt want his teammates to look good, all he wants is his name to shine.

balozunite wrote:I like the Phoenix deal
The Memphis one is kind of unrealistic, Memphis is rebuilding and won't trade a promising rookie for a veteran

i dont like to use the word unrealistic in this league, this is the NBA "where amazing happens" ... Actually, in my dynasty, the grizzlies looks like they're rebuilding with Gay and Conley only.. With Mayo as their 3rd option.. And u can see my top7 stats (above) augustin, love, gallinari and even bayless are playing better than him.

-PeeBo wrote:exactly my point of view :D promising rookie for veteran it's not going to happen :D

again, its "where amazing happens" and in dynasty, let's be open to trades, to winning, and losing etc.., Actually in real life, the promising devin harris was traded for the veteran/aging JKidd, i think u like iverson right? And then there was "answer-melo" duo, it happened... The Celtics happened... Let's make something happen for the Lakers also.. :D

fumanchu wrote:well the point of dynasty is to take control of your team your own way and let the opponents think for themselves...if Memphis (which is obviously CPU controlled) does not agree with the trade, then it's fine...try the other offers... :)

that's why im really making deep thoughts on these changes.. Coz if i make a wrong move, it could be over for me, my career as a coach could be gone. You can just lose confidence with the dynasty by a blink. :(

-PeeBo wrote:But in dynasty francies story's it should be kept realistic ;)

in my point of view, if u play with "heart" and "passion" for this game, everything's gonna be real.

nba_baller wrote:Actually, I think trading away Odom is just not worth it. Just my 2 cents.

i love odom's game, no doubt.. im also a leftie like him... he could be a triple-double guy if he's consistent with his game... thats the problem with him, he aint consistent enough.. some games he's playing good, but alot of the games he's playing really bad... again, the management doesnt want a $14M-dollar man as the team's 4th option :eh:

Thank you guys for ur comments/ideas/reactions... I appreciate it, very much!!!
I'll give at least 3 more games for odom, and analyze more the trade proposals, then i will make my decision. Tnx again :applaud:

It was a blow-out win for the lakers as 6 players scored in double-digits. "I think we got excited cause this is our 1st home game, and im happy for Q-Tip (sun yue) for his home debut performance, it's a total team effort" The Lakers team captain said. Stephon Marbury led the knicks with 20 points on a woeful shooting night 9/22 fieldgoal, while Curry (15 points) kept them within a point in the 1st quarter but the knicks missed a lot of open shots and free throws as the Lakers ended the 1st half with a 10 point lead, 59-49, and never looked back.

Tnx playahs!!! It feels good for someone to appreciate my works.. Im really putting so much time in my dynasty, cause this is my first, so its like a new born kid trying to grow up... I also hope to keep the winning but i have to simulate at least 3 games a month to make it balance, so the streak is not in my hands anymore. Pls visit my dynasty once in a while, ok, LET'S GO LAKERS!!! :-o

Los Angeles, CA - Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 40 points, and Pau Gasol added 24 points and 12 rebounds as the Lakers demolished the Indiana Pacers 121-85. The Lakers cruised to their 6th straight win, and scoring again their season best in points. Bryant went 17 of 25 on fieldgoals and 5 of 5 from the free throw line. "When bynum went out, i said to myself - here we go again, i knew im gonna have to work more, and good thing i was feeling it, i hope he's alright" Andrew Bynum got hurt early in the game with a strained left elbow, when he tried to dunk over Granger, but was fouled hard, he went back after the half and finished with 8 points, 5 boards and 5 blocks. "I can handle this, no need to worry, it's just a minor injury. Im gonna have to wear some pads at least its not my knee" Bynum said.
Tj Ford led the Pacers with a career-high 34 points and 8 assists while Troy Murphy added 19 points.

NOTES: Bynum will not miss any games but is listed as day-to-day

Nice win! (Y) Thank God Bynum's injury didnt have a major affect on him...hope you win against the Suns...

Fri Sep 26, 2008 8:54 am

Yeah, i was also worried at first bout the injury, coz we're having a great start, i hate injuries to my key players.. My heart's pumping when i hear the word suns ;) We will beat them.. Tnx

Here's the Trade, i chose the Memphis deal coz i think i can make Oj Mayo play to an All-Star level and Darrell Arthur is a good quality player off the bench, he is undrafted, underrated and a workhorse. For Antoine Walker, iL try a to find a team where he can use his offense. I hope i made a good decision.. We'll see

Fri Sep 26, 2008 9:41 am

Oh no...why do you traded Ariza?!? Anyways, be positive...hope you could bring out the best on Mayo and Arthur...as for antoine, try trading him away with some scrub for a solid bench player or for the one who replaces Odom's spot...so, whats your starting 5 now???

Fri Sep 26, 2008 11:45 am

Actually, im still thinking,, i have 2 options for my starting five, i can make kobe play SF with Mayo as SG, or Mayo will come off the bench to play SG, Kobe will move to SF.. What do u think?

1st option
C - Andrew Bynum
PF - Pau Gasol
SF - Kobe Bryant
SG - Oj Mayo
PG - Derek fisher

2nd option
C - Andrew Bynum
PF - Pau Gasol
SF - Luke Walton or Sasha Vujacic
SG - Kobe Bryant
PG - Derek Fisher
6th - Oj Mayo

Fri Sep 26, 2008 12:18 pm

You could also try playing Mayo at the Point. ;)

Fri Sep 26, 2008 1:12 pm

How about Radmanovic as SF and Mayo coming off the bench?

Fri Sep 26, 2008 4:53 pm

Crimson Penguin wrote:You could also try playing Mayo at the Point. ;)

i want to but, i still have 3 point guards right now - d-fish, jordan and JC

Chabalaba wrote:How about Radmanovic as SF and Mayo coming off the bench?

Radmanovic plays PF for me, he relieves Gasol

I think its better to use the 1st option because Kobe can match almost all the SFs in the league...BTW, whats the ovrl ratings of the players involved in the trade?!?
