Dorell Wright Signed

The Minnesota Timberwolves announced the signing of Dorrel Wright, after losing Snyder to free agency the Timberwolves needed a good backup small forward but instead they might have found themselves a new starter. The Timberwolves signed Wright to a 2 year/11.43 million contract. General Manager Dominique Wilkins believes that Wright could be the starting small forward ahead of Brewer.

Wright>>>>>Snyder, so nice signing. I think you should still re-sign Smith.

Great pick-up in Wright! Tons of potential. He also has some size.

But I hope you still have money for Smith.

Oskar stop trying to claim credit that Duck2 stole your ideas, you stole those same ideas from other people. ITs annoying that you keep trying to make subtle advertisements for your dynasty. And Madnice, jesus christ learn how to use commas and periods. Your "sentences" are unreadable...

Anyways Duck2, this is very nicely presented, and I'm glad to see another dynasty which is very readable and free of grammar mistakes. I think you made the right decision with Telfair, because I'm sure in Live he was asking for a big contract, something he hasn't deserved yet. If you could DBF it so he could get a 1 year deal, that would be fair in my opinion. Avery Johnson is also a nice hire as well, he should install some discipline in his young players now. Good luck, and I'll keep checking in!

Chaser7, I didn't tell he stole my ideas. Though, does stuff the way I did. I didn't do it like someone else. Stop hating me for that, it's not to show my dynasty off or what so ever, calm down. I don't have nothing against Duck2's dynasty, it's excellent and I'm following it.

Keep it up, Duck2.

Swift Coming to Town

General Manager Dominique Wilkins was in need of a good backup center so he traded for veteran Stromile Swift. The deal included Marko Jaric and Chris Richard for Swift. Swift was drafted by the Vancouver Grizzlies 1st Round 2nd Overall in the 2000 NBA Draft and played a total of 6 seasons with the Grizzlies franchise. Wilkins then moved rookie Dao Francis to the point guard position and moved Greg Buckner to backup shooting guard.

Nice to see you have Swift. He'll fit to your team. He can really score well, though I traded him, he didn't fit to my team. He definetly fits do your team, though. Anyways, good moves, perfect presentation and I really enjoy all this. Good luck and keep it up, just like I always say.

First time checking in, nice job with everything!
The pickup with Swift is a bit iffy IMO though.
He's a ball hogging player who just scores and rebounds.
Anyway, good luck with this!

Ratrac, Thanks, I hope he will help my team.

Martti, I still have money for Smith and I am probably going to re-sign him. ;)

Chaser7, Thank you for posting in my thread and I'm glad to hear you like my dynasty.

Oskar, I thought he will fit my team too as I saw that I was needing a back-up center. ;)

Skillmatic,
He's the back-up to Jefferson so when hes on the court I want him to get as many rebounds as he can. :D

Sounds good. Swift is one of my favourite non-star players, so your team is just getting better and better. Hope this dynasty can stay for long (Y)

Word.

This is a surprisingly good dynasty. The presentation is solid, it is very readable and I like the way you are rebuilding your team. Its not the most original dynasty, but you have done a very good job so far. Keep it up.

I like the moves you are doing, especially the signing of Wright. Wright has a potential to be a good player, he is athletic and has size for his position. Good Luck with this dynasty. (Y)

GoHornets, Swift looked like the best bet for my backup so I had to have him. :D

Lamrock., I am glad you like this dynasty. :D

Wright, I like the signing of Wright as well and I hope it works out good.

Rockets>u, I am happy you like it. ;)

This looks good, it will interesting to see how 08 goes for you, I couldn't stand the instalment and could't even get through a week of dynasty before quiting.

Back on topic though, I like the trades and signings/draft picks. Good pick with the PF, you will have a great front court for years to come now. I especially like the Swift trade, mainly because you got rid of Jaric to make more room for your young guards and swingmen, not to mention that Swift in the game is great, has all the right rating to be a good rotational big man.

Keep it up, ill be following this (Y)

Hey Duck, what are Corey Brewers Ratings cuz in my game i have him at 76.
I like him too and he plays nice. Oh and i think i might quit my dynasty and start a wolves one with Brook Lopez cuz Minnsota is young and i think they and Portland have the youngest and brightest future of the NBA. Unstoppble Al Jefferson, Minnsota bound 7"0" Brook Lopez, HighFlyer-Defensive player Corey Brewer, Sharpshooter Offesive player Rashad McCants, and last but not least playmaker-next Septhon Marbury-Sebastian Telfair(which i pefer over Randy Foyle). Anyway what is difference over Randy Foyle and Sebastian Telfair . Whoes better :?: :D

Ipsofire, Thank you.

MadNice, Well I prefer Foye because he can shoot very good, pass very good and go to the basket very good as well. I was planning on Telfair to be the backup and maybe even the starter sometime along in the season but he was asking for way too much money for the rating he is. Other teams I suggest being are Memphis Grizzlies, Seattle SuperSonics, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Bobcats and the Chicago Bulls once they select their number one pick choice. There are also other great young teams that I left out. Your current dynasty is great though so maybe try giving that one another chance before making another one. Maybe try trading for Jefferson and/or Brewer? ;)

Craig Smith Not Returning

Craig Smith will not be returning to the Minnesota Timberwolves. After several attempts to resign the player, he has now signed a 2 year deal with the PBC CSKA Moscow which plays in the Russian Basketball Super League. Craig Smith wanted a new start and he wanted to try to become a star on the PBC CSKA Moscow. Dominique Wilkins said "I really wanted to sign the guy at first, but didn't have the money." Wilkins will now be searching the free agency to see if there are any players that can replace Smith.
