SpaceFlare wrote:Hill's calling it quits? NBA Live makes some players retire a bit too early. I actually think the real Hill would probably stick around for another year or two after this season.

lol I was laughing so much when Charles Barkley said that Mutombo is not his age, he said that he is like 55 or something, LOL
List Of Blazers' Possible Selections
Howard Lawrence -- NBA Comparison: n/a
With no real comparison, Lawrence catches the eye of many as the best point guard prospect of the draft.
He has the passing ability of Steve Nash, the defense of Allen Iverson, the clutch scoring of Gilbert Arenas and lacks turning the ball over like Jose Calderon.
BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT: 32pts. 18ast. 7stls. vs. Kansas
Jeff Morin -- NBA Comparison: Deron Williams
A fast, perimeter point guard with an amazing shot selection.
Has great leadership, and brings the fans up on their feet.
Defense shows signs of improvement.
BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT: 40pts. 8ast. vs. Duke
Mike Merino -- NBA Comparison: Chris Paul
Arguably, one of the fastest players in the draft.
A total package when coming to the guard role.
Shooting needs some work.
BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT: 18pts. 20ast. 5stls. vs. Memphis
Shammond Stevenson -- NBA Comparison: Monta Ellis
Plays the PG position, but can also fit well at the SG role.
The best shooter in the draft by far.
Passing and stealing skills could be better.
BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT: 12pts. 10ast. 3stl. vs. North Carolina
Anthony Good -- NBA Comparison: Kirk Hinrich
Led the Pac-10 in steals for two straight years.
Probably the most NBA-ready player in the draft.
Needs some help in conditioning.
BIGGEST HIGHLIGHT: 24pts. 12ast. vs. Gonzaga

Lamrock93 wrote::shock: @ Lawrence. I don't see how he wouldn't go #1. If he is available, draft him.
mandich wrote:I like you picked Stevo. Hope you won't regret it

Chaser7 wrote:I'm surprised too by the pick
Oskar wrote:Surprised also, I would have gone with Merino. He has what your team needs, speed and PG abilities as you said, and he isn't a shooter.. It's possible to teach him and stuff. Can you tell something special about Stevenson to us ? He looks just like a face right now.
Lamrock93 wrote:I hate that pick. Rather than a superstar hybrid PG, you got a poor man's Monta Ellis.
Chaser7 wrote:Well ok decent storyline, except, I'm not exactly sure what Stevenson did wrong, its not against the law to "have one shot too many". Lol anyways, at least you got yourself back to the Jailblazer days!
Oh and Lamrock, I doubt those other point guards are the superstar hybrid point guards Skillimatic hyped them up to be. After all they did slid until the late teens... He probably just made sound a lot better than they are.
