INJURY REPORT
It looks like Anthony Parker will be out for the next couple of games. "We're just glad it wasn't a MAJOR injury." said Raptors coach Sam Mitchell. "Anthony's one of our key shooters. It would be a dissapointment if he would be sidelined for more than a month." When asked about the rotation for the next few games, Coach Mitchell replied: "My staff and I aren't too sure yet. The next few teams we're facing all play differently, so the starting spot may be alternated until Anthony comes back. But for now, we're still deciding." Anthony Parker had a great season last year coming back to the NBA after being crowned as the Michael Jordan of the Euroleague. His averages with the Raptors were far better than his previous ones. I managed to speak with the Raptors guard this afternoon.
"So how are you feeling right now?"
"I'm fine, my toe got hurt pretty bad against the Sixers but the medical staff managed to heal it."
"Do you think you'll get back on the court better?"
"I mean, I hope so. Injuries do different things to different players so we'll just have to wait and see."
"How exactly did you sprain your toe?"
""I went for a block against Andre Iguodala, but that kid's a monster when it comes to dunks so I guess I shouldn't have went for it because i landed in an awkward position after he slammed one hard on me."
"Do you think he did it intentionally?"
""No of course not. He's a great guy and he's fun to play with and it's a player's job to attack the rim. I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time."
"Well thank you for your time Anthony. And I hope your toe gets better."
""No problem, thank you."
