i personally would've kept Brewer too - beastly potential - but hope TJ works out for ya; he's a speedy lil' bugger that's for sure

Green is one of my go to guys and thats for sure, I use him like I'm able to use Kobe. Thats the thing about me in the game, I'm better using lower rated players then the big stars for some reason hah. But you think 31 is anything?
I make a PLEDGE he will go 50+ some time this season. And I think I'll get Gerald 6th Man of the Year, if that award exists in the game?

Minnesota defeats Denver

The Minnesota Timberwolves made a trip to the Pepsi
Center to take on one of the elite Western Conference
teams, the Denver Nuggets.

The Timberwolves held their heads high in the Pepsi
Center and brought home their first victory. 95-89.
They came into the game roaring or should I say
howling? Scoring 32 points in the first quarter. And
from that time on the Denver Nuggets never caught
up.

All of the Timberwolves' starters had a big night.

Al Jefferson with 15 points 9 rebounds 2 blocks 1 assist
Chris Webber with 12 points 5 rebounds 5 assists 1 block
Ricky Davis with 10 points 3 rebounds 3 assists 3 steals 1 block
Anthony Parker with 12 points 5 rebounds 1 block 1 steal 1 assist
TJ Ford with 20 points 8 assists 9 rebounds 2 steals

Nike Player of the Game is the same as the Jordan Player of the Game

McDwyane,
TJ Ford is seriously a sick performer for me personally both him and Tony Parker do great for me in this game. Yeah I was kind of suprised to win that game.

BoomDizzle#5,
Thanks, I'm expecting him to get a few triple doubles this season. We'll see.

The Howling deafens Portland

What do you get when you mix a near triple double
performance against a team missing there biggest star?
A victory for Minnesota. Ricky Davis exploded tonight
scoring 17 points grabbing 9 boards and setting up a
fellow team mate 10 times. Darius Miles didn't do too
shabby either trying to help out his team, netting 15
points grabbing 8 boards blocking 2 shots stealing the
ball 2 times and hooking up a fellow Blazer twice.

The Minnesota Timberwolves came into the game
out scoring the Portland Trailblazers 29-18. And in
the second quarter, the Blazers outscored the
T'Wolves 27-24. Portland had a strong 3rd quarter
outscoring Minnesota 26-20. Despite the Blazers
2nd and 3rd Quarter performances it just wasn't
enough, they couldn't get past the T'Wolves in the
4th Quarter long enough to secure the win.

It was a exciting game to watch after the first quarter
the game was a up and down and down and up again
performance for Minnesota but they came through to
win their second road game. Minnesota is now 2-1 on
the season, and Portland is 2-1.

Wow; this is actually quite good. Are you going to do the trade that they just made with the Heat though? Davis has been doing quite well, and trading him with Blount for Doleac, Fatoine and Simien would suck.

Excellent presentation. Hope this goes the distance. I actually felt the Raps got a much better deal in the trade.

I dont know man...TJ Ford is going nuts!

But thanks for following, and feel free to suggest any changes I should make to anything.

Solid dynasty, snarky. Kudos on picking up Parker, Ford, and Calderon, though I'd like to see some more Big Al action.

Wolves turn on the Jokers

Plays of the Night
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uok1XA7pSeg

This game was downhill from the get go. Minnesota
outscored Sacramento 26-11 in the first quarter.
The first quarters story was Ricky Davis,
netting 7 points, 4 rebounds and 1 steal. The
first quarter was the best defensive quarters
I have ever seen by the Timberwolves, they
were either taking it away or scratching up the
play. Amazing.

Coming into the 2nd Quarter the game was already
26-21 with Minnesota having the upper-hand. The
whistle was blown and Minnesota subbed in who
would turn out to be a rather big star for Minnesota
during the game and in specific the 2nd Quarter.
Juwan Howard, scoring 6 points, and grabbing 3
boards.

The third quarter might of been Sacramento's
warning that the game was indeed slipping away
so far that they just couldn't catch up unless they
turned it up a notch [or two] but they failed to do
so during the 3rd Quarter. Sacramento's highlight
player during the 3rd Quarter was Mike Bibby dotting
down 7 points in that quarter alone. Minnesota's
highlight reel player from the 3rd quarter was
Gerald Green putting 10 points in the book
shooting a perfect 4/4 from the field and a 2/2
from the arc.

The 4th Quarter was when the Kings took it up
that extra notch to realize it was already too late
their veteran Point Guard, Mike Bibby turned it up
scoring 11 points and dishing out 1 assist in the
last quarter of the game, and helping his team
go for a 27-23 run on the Wolves. Sadly, for
Sac-Town it was too late. Minnesota's new-comer
TJ Ford turned up his game into Mach Speed
scoring 8 points, and dishing out 3 assists in
a little less then 6 minutes.

McDwyane,
Trade Ricky? Are you crazy?
Minnesota was dumb to do that in
real life. I'm not dumb.

TheMC5,
Solid dynasty? Thanks man.
Curious as to your thoughts
on the new Re-Cap Style.
More Big Al? Good to know ;)

Can the Timberwolves continue their winning streak without
Al Jefferson and against Kobe Bryant and his Lakers? Can
Theo Ratliff step in and be the player he once was? Or even
serviceable? Can Ricky contain Kobe, for a night? Or even
limit him? These are the questions for tonight's game as the
Lakers travel to the Target Center to take on the Timberwolves.

Lakers stump T'Wolves

The Game of the Evening was Minnesota at Los Angeles.

The T'Wolves once again came into unfamiliar surrondings
taking over early out scoring the Lakers 35-31 in the first
quarter. Minnesota's team captain Chris Webber had a
terrific 1st quarter scoring 8 points and grabbing 5 boards.
The Lakers veteran point guard, Derek Fisher, also had a
great 1st quarter scoring 12 points and grabbing 2 boards.

The second quarter was a pan effect it seemed. Los Angeles
would score then Minnesota would score. The cornerstone
performance for the Lakers was Kobe Bryant's 14 point
effort. Then Anthony Parker, starting SF for Minnesota chipped
in 6 points with 2 crucial outside jumpers from downtown.

The third quarter is where things started to slip for Minnesota.
Lamar Odom delivered a huge clutch performance scoring 11
points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Theo Ratliff delivered with 4 key
blocks.

The fourth quarter is when Minnesota really did start to come
to terms with themselves that this game was going to go
down in the books as a loss. For the major reason, Kwame
Brown
grabbing a career high 24 boards in this game.

Al Jefferson should be ready for return in time for Minnesota's
next game, so maybe tat game will pan out better for the
T'Wolves. But will he start next game?

Minnesota mixes it up with New York

Minnesota (AP Press) - Minnesota must not be as happy
about their 3-2 start as we are. Following last nights
game the Minnesota office got on the phone with the
New York Knicks to work on a trade deal. Minnesota
sent New York Forward Craig Smith. In return for
Big Man David Lee.

Why this trade is good for NY?
Frees up CAP room.
Gives them a athletic big man.

Why this trade is good for MIN?
Gives them another solid post presence.
Gives them some more youth down in the paint.

That trade was rape. They Knicks give up their best player for a mediocre young PF. Wouldn't put it past Isiah though.

Donatello,
There fine rosters except for most of the bench players ratings
werent ever touched from what EA orginally put out.

And no need to lock the thread, if I feel a patch is half
done I should be able to say so. Only way Andrew or
any patcher is going to improve on any patch is for
someone to point out it's flaws.
