JC: Today, I'm here with LSU rookie Edmond Hurtandson, who recently scored an impressive 10 points in the Grizzlies' historic first game with the Spurs this year. Welcome Edmond.
Edmond: Please, call me Ed. *laughs*
JC: So how are you doing in the Grizzlies?
Ed: Oh, it's wonderful! Although I need more playing time. I mean, Pau and Darko are awesome dudes, but sometimes I need a lot of time. And I mean A LOT.
JC: Interesting. Have you heard about the oh-so-bad injury of Devin Harris today?
Ed: Of course! Devin told me earlier when he was ejected from the game a short time when his wrist ached. He told me it hurts like the bottom.
JC: And how do you suppose Damon Jones will do as the new starter until Devin comes back 3 weeks later?
Ed: ...3 weeks? I'm praying like Devin should come back on Sunday. But hey, it's the doc's report. And also, Damon still needs his 3-point mojo back, so this is a great opportunity for him!
JC: How's your chemistry with 1st overall Shannon Stoudemire?
Ed: Shannon is such a weird name, I told him. And he just laughed hard. Shannon has to be the most humble guy on the roster. He's also very superstituous.
JC: Explain.
Ed: Well, he always comes to the locker with Arby's Popcorn Chicken Shakers with Buffalo Sauce and Arby's curly fries before practice or a game. Trust me, he loves Arby's.
JC: What else?
Ed: He's very religious. Him being Filipino, he always does one "Our Father", one "Hail Mary" and one "Glory Be" before a game. He's a really nice guy.
JC: A fan has sent us a letter. Remember folks, you can ask our new subject every day woth questions by just PMing us.(PM Brandon Wright 32). Here's our first question: "Do you love movies?"
Ed: OF COURSE! Movies are great! My favorite has to be "Good Luck Chuck". Although the other critics hate it, but what do they know? They haven't seen it in my opinion. But I absolutely hate "Dead Silence". Too creepy, and too scary. *shudders*
JC: Another: "Are you single?"
Ed: *pause, then
* Who sent me that question? Of course I'm single. Ladies, call me. *staff and Ed laugh*
JC: Last one: "How's your relationship with head coach Marc Iavaroni?"
Ed: He's nothing but a dirtbag. HAHAHAHA, just kidding. Marc is a great dude. He's a good friend to me. in fact, he even planned a trip to go to the movies this Saturday with the rest of the Grizzlies! I tell ya, he's so awesome. And Devin's also gonna come. Thank God!
