Too bad you got punked like Memphis :( , but still hoping for good pick (if Durant or Oden isn´t on board I suggest you should pick Yi).

Disappointing Lottery; but you can still do very well. You should draft Brandan Wright and Javaris Crittenton!

Def get Brandan Wright and then trade him for Kevin Durant! SF is the biggest weakness for the Bucks, and if you can get Durant through a trade that will defintely help you out a ton. Maybe Wright + someone cheap for Durant? You might need to throw in a future draft pick... hmm good luck

Don't do a trade for Durant that wouldn't happen in real life. It needs to be realistic, that is the best sort of dynasty.

Anyway, I hope you get some value from your 4th pick. And also Blazers with their 7th pick :)

Its not that unrealistic... this is not intended to sound like I'm provoking you, but some of the dynasties that you have really liked, 3pk's, Lamrocks association, (again nothing is wrong with unrealistic dynasties, mine is too :) ), have been really unrealistic. And trading Brandan Wright plus another good player for Durant wouldn't be THAT unrealistic. Ok this still probably sounds like I'm trying to start another flame war, but I'm really not.

Definately don't trade for Durant it's ok if you trade to get the 1st or second pick before the draft and then get Durant because that is realistic (E.G. Portland and Bulls sawpping last year) good luck if you don't want to move up i say take either Corey Brewer or Yi Jianlain depending on who you want more, who's there, team needs etc. (Y)

Well then don't get Durant. Just think about it for a second. After the Sonics get Durant in this upcoming draft (in real life), are the Sonics going to trade him? No.

^^ I think that settles it.

Brandon Wright was only one of the numerous draftees to recieve a custom Bucks road jersey.

Bucks Pre-Draft Camp - Oden and Brewer impress..

3 weeks before the draft day the Bucks GM Larry Harris held a pre-draft camp. To see, what you can do.. Headlining the participants list were Oden and Durant. There were many possible Top 10 picks participating in the camp.. The draftees had a chance to go one-on-one with a Bucks starter.. Oden and Bogut, Durant and Simmons etc.. Here's the break-down of the best :

Image Image

Kevin Durant.
Kevin Durant impressed with his mid-range and long range shooting.. Texas stand-out also knocked down some difficult three-pointers with Simmons on him.. But when he drove to the basket, he tried to go for a dunk, but he just missed an easy shot. It looked like, he wasn't ready.. When the score was 8:4 in favor of Simmons, Harris had seen enough.. He wanted to see, what Durant can do alone.. He made him work hard in the Gym.. Induvidually, he showed, why he might be a no. 1 pick..

Image Image

Greg Oden.
Greg Oden his great defense and hustle on the floor.. He jumped for every rebound, blocked shots and tried to earn some offensive fouls. He shoved quickness on post moves and athleticism on dunking.. He was probably the best player in this camp..

Image Image

Brandon Wright.
Wright surprised with his energy on the court.. He forced turnovers, missed shots etc.. Also, he was going to grab every rebound, he wanted.. He boxed out so perfectly, that Villanueva had very little chance to get the loose ball..

Image Image

Corey Brewer.
Brewer impressed with his dribbling skills.. He turned Michael Redd inside out and finished with a lay-up many times.. But Michael Redd shot 5 three-pointer to win a game of 11 points.. Still, Brewer shoved his defensive skills.. Redd missed a couple of threes also...

Image

A couple of new faces in Milwaukee.

The Bucks made two trades after the draft-camp. They probably saw, who'll they draft and looked to open up some positions.. The first trade was with the Orlando Magic..

Image Image FOR Image Image

Damir Markota and Bobby Simmons for Trevor Ariza and Hedo Turkoglu.

The next trade was with the Washington Wizards. The parture of Earl Boykins left a spot open for a sub on the PG position. Last year the spot was played by Lynn Greer, who became a free agent this summer.. (So did Charlie Bell.)

Image FOR Image

The bucks starting five will be all Bucks.. That's last year's.. Bogut, Villanueva, Patterson, Redd and Williams will now be subbed by a couple of new guys and some rookies.. More on the draft later..

Nice job to get Antonio Daniels, he will do wonders for your team.

Tough luck with the Draft Lottery, but at least you aren't pressured into the Oden/Durant choice to make. I suggest you take a long hard look at Al Horford.

Other guys to look at would be Thaddeus Young, Julian Wright, Jeff Green and Yi Jianlian.

Kevin Durant was the first overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft..

Durant and Oden top picks, Bucks draft Brewer at no. 4..

We all knew, who will go one and two.. But in which order? Now it's certain. Kevin Durant is the no. 1 pick in the 2007 NBA draft. Oden went no. 2 and he'll head to the Timberwolves. Next to Kevin Garnett. But there is a problem with Durant's playing time.. He plays at SF and Jason Richardson is on that position.. Mean while, Oden starts for sure in Minnesota.. If Durant sits on the bench, then there's a talent wasted..

Larry Harris : "We picked Brewer, cause we really needed a shooting guard. We had to let Bell go due to the Cap space problem.. Plus, he's a good defender and can play multiple positions.."

And here are the Draft results..

Image1. (3.) Golden State Warriors. / Kevin Durant.
Image2. (6.) Minnesota Timbervolwes. / Greg Oden.
Image3. (2.) Seattle Supersonics. / Brandon Wright.

Image4. (1.) Milwaukee Bucks. / Corey Brewer.
Image5. (4.) Orlando Magic. / Nick Young.
Image6. (5.) New York Knicks. / Josh McRoberts.
Image7. (7.) Portland Trail Blazers. / Al Hortford.
Image8. (8.) Los Angeles Clippers. / Joakim Noah.
Image9. (9.) Atlanta Hawks. / Marcus Williams.
Image10. (10.) Memphis Grizzlies. / Thaddeus Young.

More noticeable picks :

Image Brandon Wright - 13th pick.
Image Julian Wright - 16th pick.
Image Marco Belinelli - 19th pick.
Image Roy Hibbert - 20th pick.
Image Al Thornton - 21st pick.
Image Acie Law - 31st pick.
Image Yi Jianlian - 36th pick.

Jianlian in the second round!?

The draft mod seems to have acted up on that one. :|

Anyway this looks good. Hibert/Law/Brewer are all lottery picks so you get an A+ from me for your draft.

Also Richardson plays SG not SF, Stephen Jackson play SF  (GO WARRIORS WE GOT DURANT!!!!!!)

I also like the trades, Daniels is a good substitute for Mo Williams

He plays SF with the Warriors "Small line-up". He'll still be on the bench, if Richardson was a SF, cause then Jackson will be SF and Jackson has a better Overall..

Ad he's a SF in my roster.. I checked the player rotation and he sees about 30%.. Only 3 rookies are starters, BTW.. Young, Oden and dont remember the third..
