This is pretty good; really detailed recaps.

However, I am concerned with Oden's 78 3PT. I think it is a mistake. He didn't make or attempt a single 3 ball in his entire collegiate career.

hahaha not all of us r bandwagon fans i've been a fan for all my life, ive seen the bad, the worse, the worst and the worse worst. plain and simple ive seen Warrior teams that started players like Chris Porter (look him up hahha hes in the CBA now, no not the Continental Basketball association, the Chinese Basketball Association)

O ratrac don't mean to sound so harsh, I like your recapping style a lot, and glad to see the Warriors doing well! keep up the good work!

Warriors win 5th in a row

Golden State won a thriller in Houston 101-100. Good game from the both side, especially Yao and J-Rich played well at 4th quarter. Yao got himself 2 2+1-s and Jason pulled Warriors back into game with his dunks and 3s. Warriors led the start of the 4th quarter, but Rockets got lead in the middle of the quarter, biggest lead was 95-90. The final half minute was very interesting. Warriors were back by 1 point, 99-100, with ball in their hands and half minute to go. Baron Davis dribbled past Alston and dunked the ball what was very important to Warriors(you can see the dunk at the pics). There were about 15 seconds to go and Rockets were down by 1. Ball moved from hands to hand. Finally the ball was given to Juwan Howard, who shotted with 1 seconds to go, but Al Harrington had an amazing block over Juwan´s shot and decided the game. Warriors now lead the league with Toronto, both have 5-0 records so far.

Why is Oden so good from three-point range? It's not realistic at all..

k-durant, It´s from the draft mode, i know it´s very unrealistic, but i don´t know how to fix it either.
Edit from 6th June: I fixed it, I putted Durant´s 3pt to 70 and Oden´s to 1, and quickness to 80

Heh, I don't think it's a bandwagon-the Warriors are generally a fun team to play with since they have good perimeter shooters and explosive dunkers as well.

Maybe there was some bug where Oden's and Durant's stats were mixed up :P

Anyway, nice work on the 5-0 start!

Warriors win 6th in a row, 2nd time in OT

Golden State won 5th in a row on road, this time in Dallas with OT. Golden State had tough situation before 4th quarter. They was behind by 8. They cutted the difference in score to 2, but Dallas got the lead to 6 again with score 106-100 and 1:40 to go. Dallas was only 1 second away from win, but Jason Richardson scored 2 points and it was a tie. Overtime was very close at the start, but Golden State came to lead 8 points. Dallas reduced the difference to only 3 at the end, but still Warriors won the game 133 to 130.

Big loss in Minnesota

Warriors fans had to witness first loss in this year. They lost to Timberwolves by 9, 93 to 102. Golden State lost 4th quarter 22-33. It was mainly caused by Ricky Davis, who scored 9 points on 4th quarter. Rookie from Minnesota, Jeff Green, had a very good night, with 16 points and 10 rebs(more to see on box score and rookie watch). The hole starting 5 was bit off on 4th quarter. The game was close until the last minute. First of all Jason Richardson got 6th foul and had to leave the game. Mickael Pietrus replaced him. After Ricky shot 2-2 from FT line, the score was 93-87 to Wolves. Then Mickael Pietrus answered with 3 and Warriors was back in the game. But every offensive play after that Minnesota completed with FT-s or basket. Warriors got the only basket after that, with 1.5 seconds left and again Mickael Pietrus with 3-pointer.
Minnesota had won it and has now 4 win streak and Timberwolves are 3rd on league.

Big trade news in California

Golden State Warriors made 2 big deals in 2 days. First deal was made with Minnesota. Warriors got a very solid deal where they gave to Timberwolves Andris Biedrins(ovrl 66) and acquired Randy Foye(ovrl 73).
Picture of Randy Foye:

Second deal included 3 man trade with Milwaukee. Warriors acquired nr 1st pick of this years draft, Brandon Wright(ovrl 74), and had to give away Sarunas Jasikevicius(ovrl 65) and Rashard Delk(ovrl 55, I got him only because i needed him to do some trades like this one).

Which 1 I should trade: Randy Foye or Monta Ellis, or even Thabo? By the way I´m tradin Stephen Jackson and 1 of those guys for world class SF or PF(I´ll move Harrington to SF then). I kinda wanna keep Thabo, i don´t wanna trade him.

Biedrins traded? damn. ah well, with Oden and Yi back there i guess it was only a matter of time; nice recaps and screens man; keep it comin'!

hahaha Chris Porter! that's too funny; but do you remember Chris Gatling, Rony Seikaly, Tyrone Hill, Tom Tolbert, David Woods and Keith "Mister" Jennings? ;) Man those were some painful days in the bay area

Nah I wasn't too interested in the NBA until like 5th grade or so. I still ahve a program that has Chris Porter on the cover hahaha... I vaguley remeber Chris Gatling and I've heard stories of the other players but I dont actually remeber them first hand
We've gone through some tough times... Chris Porter is apparently dominating the CBA though hahaha

I dont like the Biedrins trade, you already had good backups at Foye's position.
Now you need to get a new substitute C or PF.

nbarulez, I forgot to put box scores(fixed now), first game, where Oden had 3 point ratings was against Minnesota, where he didn´t attempt any 3pointer.
cerv, I´m gonna use Yi for C for now and use Brandon Wright as a PF in subtitutes.

I have few options, all trades are here made by Foye+Jackson: Tayshaun Prince(ovrl 84), Dwight Howard(ovrl 90, pretty hard to get I think and I may use Ellis there because of Salary Cap), Ron Artest(ovrl 90), Rashard Lewis(ovrl 86), Chris Bosh (ovrl 91, very hard to get, but still could be done), Caron Butler(ovrl 83). If I use Ellis I could do deal with Okafor(ovrl 85). All others were too good, too bad, too little cap, too big cap(biggest reason).

woah Caron Butler is an 83 in your game? He's only a 77 in mine... well I'm not using theNLSC rosters sinceI'm on PS2 :(
Trade for Bosh or Villanueva. Villanueva would be easier to get and woudl well in the Warriors system.. good 3-point shooter.. good reobunds... etc.

nbarulez, I think Villanueva isn´t the right man for my team. I want to trade Jackson and Foye/Ellis and do that for 78 is a bit ripoff, but maybe in future I will get him. I may gonna go for Bosh, but I think it´s very tough to get him, mainly because of his rating.

Well what is Jackson in your game, for me he's a 75, Villanueva is very young and will improve, in one of my dynasties he improved to like an 81 by 2008-2009. I'm just trying to give you some realistic trade suggestions if all you want to trade is Jackson + foye/ellis. What is ellis in your game?

Warriors lost second in a row, Portland wins 4th consecutive

Golden State lost again, this time to Portland Trail Blazers 96-102. The game was controlled by Warriors almost all game, but in the middle of the 4th Portland took it over. After Martell Webster scored 3, the games score was 95 to 90 with Portland leading, after that Baron Davis scored 3 and they were only 2 points behind. After that nothing didn´t work out anymore for Warriors. They were too much behind and they tryed to come closer with fouling them and hoping that they will miss, but they missed on FT line only 1 time and that was too only with 1 second before the end and it didn´t matter anymore(Zach Randolph). Warriors will play next game against Minnesota and hoping for revenge.
