Grizzlies aren’t good enough…

Marion showed his skills…

Phoenix 99, Memphis 93

Phoenix bounced back from last night’s loss to Portland. They improved in things that were the reason why they lost the last time. Rebounding was much better and much more balanced. Phoenix gave 27 assists(8 Nash/6 Felton). Wade scored 22 while Nash added 20 points.
Memphis was able to oppose, but they were successful in the first half. At the second and the last quarter they were crushed and defeated.
Dwyane Wade(post-game press conference):”We won our first game and I’m happy about it. We played really good, I’m really satisfied about the bench players and the rookies. Of course we have some minuses, but our current game, if think it’s good.

Last year’s champs aren’t the same…

Image
He was playing allaround

Phoenix 111, San Antonio 104

The Phoenix Suns continue their winning streak to 2 as they beat last year’s champs San Antonio Spurs, but this time with a different lineup. They had Elton Brand along with Lamar Odom and Sam Cassell, Quintin Richardson and Glen Robinson. Elton Brand scored 21, while Sam Cassell was able to add 17 shooting only 1/7 3’s.
Early on San Antonio took advantage and held it till the end of the quarter. Phoenix lost only by 4 points, still they were playing really good and weren’t thinking about giving up.
At the second they fired up, with the help of Nash’s assists and great bench production. They managed to get the lead and ended the quarter leading by 5.
At the second half they were holding Spurs, who managed to fire up in the third. But scored only 2 points more than Phoenix. Suns decided to end the game with a win and after Wade’s 10 point streak they finished the Spurs with Ron Mercer’s three pointer. Credits to Dwyane Wade who scored 19 points, cought 9 rebounds and dished 3 assists. Steve Nash was playing great too scoring 18 points, giving away 11 assists, plus 1 block and 1 steal.

Dwyane Wade knocked a mid-range buzzer-beater for the win…(couldn’t capture it)

Phoenix 98, Charlotte 96

Phoenix took advantage early, putting a 10-0 run. Still Bobcats were able to oppose and scored some points too. Phoenix won the quarter by 7 points. Second quarter was better for the young Bobcats who came in and destroyed the lead early, but couldn’t take advantage, Phoenix was able to fight. Bobcats won the quarter, but didn’t took the lead.
Second half was more dramatic. Both teams were fighting seriously, Suns won the third by 1 point, but it didn’t mean anything.
The last quarter was a drama. Firstly Bobcats took advantage and felt the tempo. Scored many points and took the lead for a few minutes. When the quarter was in it’s mid Dwyane Wade nailed a few mid jumpers. Bobcats answered with a few three’s. And had a solid lead. After a few minutes then the quarter was at it’s end, Kyle Korver nailed a few three’s in a row and started the Suns’ run. They were scoring point by point at the last minute. Wade achieved 3 steals in the last minute. He scored 5 points in that minute. Phoenix were winning by 2 points. Nash drove inside the paint, but was fouled and injured. Felton made 1 of 2 three-throw’s, extending Suns’ lead to 3. Then Nate Robinson showed his confidence and knocked down a three tying the result and leaving the Suns’ 23 seconds. Suns gave the ball to Wade, he started burning time and was walking towards the paint. 10 seconds left Wade was showing his dribbling skills and trying to trick the defender. 5 seconds left Wade started posting up to the paint. 2 seconds left Wade faked the opponent and took the winning buzzer-beater shot…HE MADE IT!!!

Nate’s 360 alley-oop finish from Gerald Wallace…
Nice pass from Nash

Because I couldn’t capture the moment when Wade took the winning shot, from now I’m going to record the play of the day… :)

Good stuff, you got N'Daiye, that guy is awesome in Live, I've never seen him in real life, but he is in 70% of my teams in live and he is so good as a backup Center.

You team is great, it can look to Bogut, Felton and Wade in the future and has people like Nash now to make your team great. I also like Korver being in the starting line up because he can feed off Nash and Wade getting all the attention and maybe getting some open shots.
