NLSC PLAYERS SIGN-UPS:

This is the time to sign up for the upcoming 2006-07 Draft class. If you want to participate just P.M me or just post your info here in this thread. I will take about 10-15 NLSC PLAYERS per draft. The dynasty wizards will most likely be the ones first to be drafted (haven't decided yet) or I might decide on who posts their information first. You need a cyberface. If you don't have a cyberface then I'll give you a random cyberface of a generated rookie. Make the ratings realistic (not for example 90 for each section). If you want to participate just post your info here and say your participating. I will also be having a couple College Players. I will have about 10-12 College Players. If your not in the 2006-07 Draft, then you'll have a chance to be in the next draft if this dynasty goes that far.

A LOSS FOR THOSE COCKY

The New Jersey Nets were facing the young and talented Orlando Magic. The Magic with young gunner, Jameer Nelson, and former #1 pick of the 2004-05 draft, Dwight Howard, had many plans on beating the Nets. The Nets entering the game with a 1-0 record and thinking that they can handle these kids. But as quaters went by, the Nets were the one with the 3. The 3 point loss that is.

NOV 13, 2005 - NEW JERSEY 86 vs ORLANDO 89 [4th Qtr INTERVENTION]

Entering the 4th quarter at the score of 76-78, The Nets had many intentions and coming back and taking the lead instead of being behind by 2. Instead, the Nets have found themselves loosing at the end by 3 points and the final score of 86-89.

The 4th quarter was very contested. The Nets and the Magic were scoring back and fourth as the game was heading to the final seconds. Many shots were being fired and the defense was hard to roll pass by. The Magic knew that if they weren't going to play the D, then they wouldn't come up with the W. Instead, they did play the defense and came up with the victory over the Nets.

The Nets tried everything but couldn't stop the loss. The Magic weren't going to give up that easily and with the fans on their sides, they knew they had to gain the victory as they did. Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson helped carry the Magic with the victory as they both had over 20+ points.
ImageImage
Jason Kidd trying to get passed the sophmore Nelson but couldn't prevent it from happenining as his tight defense was the problem; RJ on a fastbreak and dunks over Tony Battie for the easy one handed jam

The Nets kept nailing their shots but the Magic had many in mind. The Magic were leading in the final seconds by 3. The Nets had nothing else to do but call a timeout as they did.
Image
The Nets called a timeout in the final seconds of the game. They were loosing by 3 and quickly made a play for their chances

The plan was to pass it to Vince Carter and he'll make the 3. Unforetunately, Vince Carter was doubled team and had nothing else to do but pass. Carter passed the ball to Jason Kidd and with 1 second left, Jason Kidd shot and.......missed. The Nets have lost the match up. There's always next time?

The Player of the Game was Dwight Howard. Dwight had a great statline of 25 points, 15 boards, 3 blocks, and 2 steals. If he keeps playing like this, he'll definately be a monsterus player in the future.

The New Jersey Nets are heading to the Pepsi centre as they face 'Melo and the rest of the Nuggests. The Nets look foward to increase their record to 2-1. I will probably simming the rest of the games so I can post the coverage of the month of November.

NO LUCK IN JERSEY

The Nets first home game of the season and it was a total blowout. The Nets seemed pretty confident in the beginning but never was expecting the 23 point loss against the struggling Cavaliers.

Nov 30, 2005 - Cavaliers 99 vs New Jersey 76 2nd Half INTERVENTION GAME

The Nets were looking foward to win their last game and first home game of the month against the Cavaliers. Throughout the game, the Nets were being destroyed and fans were walking. In the 3rd quarter the Nets were finally playing a like a true basketball team as they went on a run. But they couldn't hold on to that run as the Cavs kept fighting back for the victory and the 3-4 record.

ImageImage
Early in the 3rd, Jason Kidd was bringing the hustle as he steals the ball off Damon Jones hands; Meanwhile, James sharing the ball as he gets his 7 assists throughout the game

Later on the 3rd quarter, the game was about to hit the ending point as Drew Gooden was bringin' on his groove as he dunks with authority on endless posistions.
ImageImage
Late in the 3rd, Drew Gooden was feeling it as he dunks and gets his 4 of his 18 points. Drew Gooden was a monster flick for the Cavs in this game. Dunking, grabbing boards, etc

In the beginning of the 4th quarter, Vince Carter started to do something special for the fans as he soars in the air for the one hand dunk. Just one of those ''doesn't make a difference'' plays.

ImageImage
Vince Carter has nothing else to do but do something for the fans as he flies up in the air for 2 of his 9!?!?!?!

In the last minutes of the game, The Nets still had a chance. But then again the Cavs came up strong and still battled. Richard Jefferson tried to help the Nets, but unforetuantely, it didn't make a difference. The Nets needed to make their freethrows, not cause to many turnovers, and stop with the shooting when not open. If they have done that, then the Nets still had be able to win the game.

Image
RJ still not giving up as he nails the 3 without even looking. The only problem was that there was only about 1.3 seconds left in the game

In the end, the Nets have lost and now have a 3-3 record. The Next game will be against the Philadelphia 76ers in the month of December. Hopefully the Nets can come up with the win and have a 4-3 record and still have a chance to make the playoffs if it ins't too early.

The Player of the Game was LeBron James. He was amazing throughout the game. Scoring, sharing, rebounding the ball earned him the honors.

LeBron James trying to bring his team to the Playoffs for his second time in his career.
