Oklahoma City *(ticker) – The Hornets were home for 2nd time in as many night this time they were facing off against a Joe Johnson led Atlanta Hawks.

The Hornets never trailed in this game but found them selves holding off a fast finishing Hawks team led by Johnson. Joe Johnson led all scorers with 35 points and Al Harrington chipped in with 15 points and 10 rebounds but it wasn’t enough to come back against the Hornets.

Chris Paul and J.R. Smith led the Hornets with 25 points a piece. Paul added 14 assists a new career high and new comer Michael Olowokandi added 17 points and 8 rebounds. Desmond Mason had a stellar game with 18 points and 6 rebounds.

Oklahoma City *(ticker) – The Hornets traveled to Orlando to face off against the Magic and Dwight Howard.

The Hornets never trailed in this game had to hold off a strong finishing Magic to win 106-103. Dwight Howard led the Magic with 22 points and 16 rebounds and DeShaun Stevenson chipped in with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.

Chris Paul and J.R. Smith led the Hornets with 24 and 32 points respectively. Paul added 7 assists but also turned the ball over 6 times. Desmond Mason had a stellar game with 18 points and 8 rebounds and P.J. Brown impressed with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Oklahoma City *(ticker) – The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets have today traded SF Rasual Butler and SF Linton Johnson III to the Minnesota Timberwolves for PG Marcus Banks.

Banks bring with him his amazing quickness and averages of 1.3 PPG, 0.2 RPG and 0.7 APG. Butler leaves the Hornets with averages of 0.8 PPG, 1.3 RPG and 0.2 APG. Linton Johnson has not played any minutes so far this season.

Oklahoma City *(ticker) – New Orleans traveled to Philadelphia to face the 76ers and AI and AI2 looking continue its 2 game win streak.

J.R. Smith and P.J. Brown led the Hornets to a 84-77 victory. Smith had 21 points and 6 rebounds while Brown had a double-double with 17 points and 17 rebounds. Chris Paul had an off night scoring 11 points while going 3-12 from the floor.

AI2 led all scorers with 23 points as well as 3 steals and 3 blocks. Allen Iverson added 16 points and 6 assists and Samuel Dalembert had 10 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks in the game.

Oklahoma City *(ticker)New Orleans hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves and Rasual Butler.

Ricky Davis led the T-Wolves in scoring with 29 points, 3 assists and 3 steals on the way to helping the Wolves beat the Hornets 116-112. Rasual Butler in only his 2nd Game as a Wolf scored a season high 25 points and 11 rebounds and KG added a respectable 24 points and 15 rebounds and 5 assists.

J.R. Smith led the Hornets with 29 points and 3 rebounds. Chris Paul continued his stellar play so far with 25 points and 8 assists. Michael Olowokandi chipped in with 23 points and 9 rebounds but only shoot 3-8 from the Free Throw Line.
