Best of luck dude, I'll be here reading from time to time.

Damn right, but Mr. T doesnt have to worry about the dress-code. Like there is a fool out there who has the balls to fine Mr. T..........yeah right

An interesting idea, I really like it. Sure to watch this one, I hope that Andrew releases his rosters soon. :P

PS. I bet you want to play the game yourself after some time.

Oh, yeah, how about those away games? Gonna take the buss to every one of those? Do the GMs go to the away games anyways?

Wow, interesting idea! So are you going to sit courtside or just in your office waiting for the boxscores? Haha, anyway... Go Mr. T!

I liked the scouting report and I thought this was going to be a decent dynasty. The idea of you just being the GM and not playing the game is also a good one, gives that realistic GM feel.

Until I saw that you just hired the "baddest" man on the planet Mr. T himself.

I was like "WTF? I thought this dynasty was going to be serious." I had mixed feelings whether to stop reading and treat this as garbage or just continue.

Guess I'll be reading more of your dynasty just to see if there are more surprises.
Besides how could I not read you dynasty thread when Mr. T's pic is in it, staring at me as if he's saying "I pity the foo' who doesn't support my Lakers!" (Y)

So other dynasty players who put themselves in the game is serious? You wont even notice the difference with Mr. T in charge instead of Mitch Kupchak :)

Lakers beat Nets during season-opener

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Lakers let their big lead slip away in the 4th quarter.

But they still won and thats what counts.

As Kobe Bryant scored 30 points to lead the Lakers over the New Jersey Nets for their season opening game with a 106-95 score.

The Lakers were leading by as many as 34 points at some point in the 3th quarter, but the Nets seeked for a comeback which they performed well in the final quarter. New Jersey never scored more then 19 points troughout 3 quarters, but managed to get 41 points in the 4th quarter.

After trailing by as many as 34 points, the Nets were able to fight back into the game and cut the lead back to only 8 points, but it wasnt enough to get the win.

Kobe Bryant lead 5 players in double digits scores with 30 points, as Devean George added 11 off the bench. Kwame Brown was the only player in the starting lineup to stay within single digits, but he made up for it by leading the team with 13 rebounds.

Lamar Odom started the game sloppy after making only 1 out of 6 shots in the first half, but he seemed to pick it up as he ended up having 16 points to go with a teamhigh 7 assists.

Tonight was also Phil Jacksons first return to the Staples center as the headcoach of the Lakers, after coaching them for the last time in Los Angeles during game 2 of the 2004 NBA Finals. "We played very well on both ends of the court." Jackson said. "We were able to slow them down to 30 something points in the first half while we scored almost 60."

During the 05:44 mark of the 1st quarter, Andrew Bynum replaced Chris Mihm for the center position to become the youngest player in the history of the NBA to play during a game. Bynums first and only made field goal was a one handed dunk during a fastbreak. He also collected 5 rebounds.

Lakers start the season 2-0

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Kobe Bryant missed most of the first half, but the Lakers managed to play well without him.

As the Lakers defeated the Chicago Bulls to start the season perfectly with a 2-0 standing. Kobe Bryant was troubled with early fouls, as he recieved his 3th foul in the first quarter alone. Bryant came back in the game in the second half and finished with 21 points while making 9 of his 13 field shots.

The game was pretty close throughout the first 3 quarters, but the Lakers were able to shut down the Bulls for good in the 4th and most important quarter of the game. Chris Mihm had a great overall game with 10 points, 12 rebounds and a career-high tying 6 blocked shots.

The Lakers once again have played terrific defense as they forced the Bulls into a .289% shooting game. Kirk Hinrich led the Bulls in scoring with 16 points but he shot under a bad percentage as he only made 4 out of 20 shots.

Chicago however put good defensive pressure on the Lakers, as they caused them to turn the ball over 16 times. Los Angeles also failed to make a three-point shot out of 11 attempts.

Kwame Brown had a good overall game as he scored 17 points after scoring 8 on the season-opener, grabbed 7 rebounds and blocked 3 shots. He also led the Lakers in steals as he stole the ball twice.

After starting the season shooting bad, Lamar Odom seemed to get back his touch as he made all of his 4 field goals in the opening quarter and ended up making 4 out of 11 attempts. Odom also grabbed 5 rebounds but led the Lakers in turnovers as he had a total of 4.

The Lakers will play the Charlotte Bobcats next at home.
