Charlotte cruise to victory against New Orleans
Charlotte 112
New Orleans 98
This victory was never especially threatened, the Bobcats dominated the game from start to finish, playing some exellent basketball at both ends of the floor. Zudrunas Ilgauskas and Latrell Sprewell came out blazin' early in the game and gave the 'Cats an early first quarter lead, then everyone else in the starting lineup started to get it on too, and when Samuel Dalembert, Lorenzen Justice, Eddie Griffin and Greg Buckner all came in scoring well of the bench we got more and more confident. Ilgauskas had 10 points 5 rebounds and two blocks at halftime. But the game caught up with the Bobcats, overconfidence let the Hornets back in the game, and they made it close, they came within 2 but then Joe Johnson hit a couple of big threes. Late in the game the Hornets charged again, but a case of too little too late it should prove to be, so in desperation they started fouling, and Dwayne Wade sunk all of the free throws and sealed the win, DW who other then 6/8 from the line was pretty invisible. Latrell Sprewell put in another great game, shooting well, playing good D and playing unselfish basketball, and he shot 4/7 from 3point land. And Meka also had a huge double-double.
Latrell lit it up from beyond the arc
