My name is Desmond so thanks
Great way to use that format, I like the way you put the entire season in the mag and most of all, "IT IS NEAT". Some ppl can do something like that, but it's just not neat. Pics are great too.

nice update....tough season but realistic nonetheless....am interested to see what your roster will be like for the '05/06 season

Sorry i've been a bit slack lately but ive had finals (still do actually) but I got the offseason coverage done. This issue's articles arent very good because of time constraints but it will do.
Plus to keep the thread alive im gonna do short game recaps sorta like "The X" and DWeaver have in their threads, so look for October's games in the next few days.

interesting trade involving Redd....normally it wouldn't happen, but due to his situation, it's in the realms of possibility....I wonder why the Clippers dealt Chris Paul for Raymond Felton though....hmm....your team definitely looks stronger though....you should be able to compete for a low playoff berth now
luv the magazine style
Thu Jun 09, 2005 6:29 pm
Thanks man, yeah well I did the trade for 2 reasons really.
1. I always end up with a team that has a star SG thats really good at shooting (in the end thats probs what Green is gonna become

) So I thought id change it up.
2. I'm becoming a big Gerald Green fan so I thought i'd give him alot more time by trading Redd
And plus it changes things up a bit, it looks lie he will resign in real life but I thought id go the other way.
luv the magazine style
Thanks man I think this Issue was one fo my favourties, lol it took the shortest to make too.

it's usually always the way....
I look forward to the "Stag's night" magazine
Thu Jun 09, 2005 6:43 pm
great magazines.... eish I could do that
And a nice young roster you've got there... just don't burn Green by playing him too much staright away...
It would be interesting if you could make ( or have someone else make ) some fictional new Bucks jerseys, as they'll probably change those old unis for 05/06 anyways...

Yeah he hasn't started yet and ive played 3 games (2 will be up in the near future), his first shooting outing wasnt very good but hes improved over the last two games.

Yeah unfortuantely my only patching ability is with dbf's, ill try and enlist some help from someone to do some new jerseys.

Great work

Like the fact that you got Green and Felton. Green should become a for sure star for you so build the team around him. My favorite page on the mag is the offseason movs because of all the pics and color you put into it
Overall the mag is real good

Thanks man, good to see you like it (Dont worry yours is coming soon, as soon as these damn exams finish)Remy Gambit wrote:You have a pretty likeable team there.
Lol @ the instructions of how to read the magazine.
Thanks man, thats my aim to make a team that I enjoy playing with and people enjoy reading about.
As for the instructions, they are just incase there are some people who couldnt figure it out
(Don't want them to miss out on the inside pages)
EDIT: Oh BTW I hope its ok that I used your wide but not too tall sized pics for my recaps.

Yeah i'm planning on building around Green and Felton, I'm a bit pissed I traded Joey Graham though he was a steal in the 2nd round plus ive been reading his workout reports and I like the sound of his game.
Yeah the Offseason page was my fav too, ive started playing with the angles a bit more when taking screenshots.

Recaps for Last and Only week of October
October 28: GOLDENSTATE 99 @ MILWAUKEE 110
Michael Redd's last game for the Bucks as he waited for the trade to LAC to be processed by the league.
Instead of benching him like a lot of coaches would Terry Porter let Redd play on final game in front of the home fans.
While it was D-Mase who starred in this game, Redd still put in a last effort with 19 points on 5-13 shooting.
The game itself was pleasing to the fans with the Bucks leading from the start and extendign that lead through the first 3 quarters.
The Warriors attempted a comeback in the last Q but it was to no avail, with the Bucks coming out with a confident win.
Redd's Last shot for the Bucks, a miss unforunately.
October 31: ATLANTA 94 @ MILWAUKEE 102
The Bucks first game without Redd turned out to be quite a test for the team.
The new look Hawks (which included big FA signing Pau Gasol and sharp shooter Devean George) never looked to be an easy team to beat.
However the new players on the roster stepped into their roles nicely filling the gap left by Redd nicely.
Once again D-Mase was the hero of the game having another good shooting performance and adding to the Bucks large rebounding figure.
Gerald Green had a decnt shooting outing, while shooting below 50% coach porter was happy with the peformance saying:
"Those were tought shots with Childress and Smith guarding him.
He's gonna have to learn to take the tough shots if hes to lead this team in the future"
Childress and Gasol were the top players for the Hawks with the Bucks never being able to stop Gasol once he got the ball.
Rookie Andrew Bogut (2nd pick in the draft) was never a threat as he played limited minutes off the bench and didnt even take one shot.
Brown came off the bench to dominate the offensive boards.
Record at end of week: 2-0

Big game for Mase.

Nice job I'm enjoying the new format you got. Now I know how well the game went and you got the boxscores as well. Turns out this is going to be a real good dynasty.

Nice Graphics man, i also like the new format

Yeah D-Mase has been really stepping up lately, he did that in some of the games I played in the first season, even his jumpers have been falling latelyBatman© wrote:Nice job I'm enjoying the new format you got. Yeah the new format should keep the dynasty more active too, especially when these damn exams are finishedNice Graphics man, i also like the new format
Thanks man, i'm hanging out for you to start a dynasty again, your graphics are deffinately up there too
Fri Jun 10, 2005 10:55 pm
luvin' it man....
and Dweaver, we gotta give Mark some credit where credit is due....the sign of a great dynasty is not to fall into spam topics like me do

avoid the Stag's Night mag call....luvin' it....
but in all seriousness....a must view dynasty....I was checking boxscores and was about to say good for you, bringing Green along slowly, then I checked the next game and I went

I guess he got hot and you had to go with him....
if I had your roster, I would start Bobby Simmons and move Erick Strickland to the bench....Strickland to me, is more of an impact player off the bench....whereas Simmons, he kinda needs to be out there and get his minutes and touches to be successful....I'd start Simmons at SF and move Mason to SG or move Simmons to SG if you prefer....or trade Simmons....just my opinion though
Sat Jun 11, 2005 12:38 am
Nice work man... dude, why is Bogut on the bench! lol
Sat Jun 11, 2005 12:51 am
^^^ yeah, I was wondering how Gasol ended up back in Atlanta (the team that originally drafted him and dealt for Reef)....
suggestion....dbf-edit Gasol's position to PF/C, Harrington's to SF/PF, and move Josh Smith to bench and Bogut to starting C spot

hopefully Hawks will get the hint and deal Harrington or something....but I wouldn't do that until later in season, as Bogut must prove himself....Bogut is a PF/C so he should get some minutes either way at both spots....
Sat Jun 11, 2005 12:53 am
^^^ But the AI is crap! they dont get no hints...
Sat Jun 11, 2005 12:58 am
^^^ therefore dbf-edit it at half-way point or random point....cpu doesn't often get the idea until a player gets injured and then order is restored
