Clean presentation! One thing though: didn't you notice yet that the post background is the same every other post and these posts between have this other background color? Just asking because the last post shows this starting 5 pic which looks really good, but the background is another color.

INJURY UPDATE: LOUL DENG

loul's injury will hurt my bench immensly, he was
the clear 6th Man of the Team and his athleticism is definately
missed, bobby simmons who'll get most of his minuted
together with greg buckner is a good player but nowhere as effective
as deng.

GAMEDAY 3 REVIEW

The Nets came into the game without their starting center
alonzo mourning, who injured his left ankle in the shootaround prior
to the game, jason collins was filling the void in the starting lineup
and lawrence frank also chose brian scalabrine over aaron williams.
knowing that, mike dunleavy told his team to utilize elton brand
and nene's post game completely in the first few quarters to get
the shorthanded nets in foul trouble.

FIRST QUARTER
The Nets started the Game highly motivated, the clippers however
looked pretty nervou in the first few minutes of their second home
game and missed their first three shots, new jersey got off to a quick
7-0 start with points from jason kidd and ron mercer.
The Clippers slowly got into the game with a pair of threes from Jaric
and Gordon. Jason Kidd led the nets to a 30-26 first quarter lead
with great shooting, tho. Bo Outlaw was brilliant in his 4 minuted of
court time in the first Q, scoring 7 points and grabbing 3 rebounds.

SECOND QUARTER
Coach Mike Dunleavy seems to be able to motivate his team
pretty good, after trailing by 4 at the start of the second quarter,
the clips poured in 37 points opposing to 22 nets-points. Marko
Jaric,Nene and Corey Maggette where the Clips' main weapons
as the turned the 4 point trailing into a 11 point lead until halftime.
Marko Jaric looked great in the second Quarter qith two steals
and 9 Points (all 3's). Corey Maggette however was named player
of the half alongside richard jefferson, scoring 12 points, pulling
down 4 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists in 16 minutes of court time.

THIRD QUARTER
Both teams played equally good in the first quarter of the second
half, the nets winning the quarter with just one point, 29-28. The clips'
where playing with ben gordon at point guard for most of this quarter
and gordon played great, scoring 8 points. Maggette also continued his
great allround game and got within 2 rebounds and 1 assist of a triple
double until the end of the quarter.
Ron Mercer had some nice plays for the nets in this quarter and was
their main scoring threat alongside jason kidd, while half time top-scorer
richard jefferson was completely taken out of the game by maggette
and didn't score in the eintire second half.

FOURTH QUARTER
The Nets played a great 4th Quarter defensivley and held the clips
to just 19 points. Jason Kidd and Brian Scalabrine where scoring in
bunches and helped the nets tie the game at 102 with 2:21 to play
in the game. L.A. was too cool in the last 2 minutes,though. Corey
Maggette hit a pair of crucial 3 Pointers and Marko Jaric hit both
free throws after the nets, who only managed to get one more basket
, fouled him to stop the clock.
The Clippers took their 3rd straight win and look like a real
playoff contender in the west.

KEY MATCHUP REVIEW

Richard Jefferson enjoyed a great first half for New Jersey but wasn't
able to stop Player of the Game Corey Maggette from collectin his
first triple double of the season with 20 points 11 rebounds and 10 assits.
Maggette also was great in crunchtime and scored 6 points in the last
two minutes.

CLIPPERS KEY PLAYERS

Mike Dunleavy on:
Corey Maggette:I thought Corey would be a pure scorer for us this
year, his performace tonight proved me wrong,tho. I was impressed
with his ability to find the open man for the assist.
Elton Barnd:Elton is the ultimate low post warrior, he's immovable
once he's established his position in the paint and he's an unbelievable
offensive rebounder, I was very pleased with his effort tonight.
Nene:Nene has been a great addition to this team, his strength
and quickness under the basket add a new dimension to our offense
and his defensive abilitys are better then we expected, if I remeber
right Collins didn't score too much tonight [2 Points], that's a great
effort by Nene.
Marko Jaric:What I like best about marko is his defense, afterall
he stole the ball from jason kidd like 4 times, his shooting was on point
tonight,too. he was there when we needed him.
