hey man, just thought i'd share with you that i finished my first season yesterday. it was basically a rebuilding year as i had some trades and was trying to get used to the game. didn't make the playoffs, and had the 12th pick. picked up a good SG to back up anderson (van exel was good, but i'd rather get a youngster for the future), as well as a PF in the 2nd round who's been doing relatively well in the 2nd year.

my suggestion is that you trade away shareef (after all, z-bo needs the time), and if possible get a real SF (miles is just not good enough)

Cheers for filling me in dude :D , I've actually swung a few deals last night for NVE and Shareef, i'm doing my next Mag update tonight so all will be revealed then, but yer i sorta went the same way as you, but i have to say that i like D-Miles play, he been pretty damn good for me, no shot but he's a good all round player.

yeah his shot is the problem.
in the 2nd season, he's been decent at offthedrible jumpers, but not great. i still have him on the team. he averages about 18-21 mins per game probably. not my star player, as you can tell.. but those 20 minutes are so are pretty solid, as he's my only real backup for Lewis. i only play patterson if i need some solid defense.
here's what my rotation looks like in the 2nd year:

C-Ratliff/Potapenko/Rookie PF (can't remember his name to be honest, but he's not bad. drafted him in the 2nd round but he's been solid. a great push off the bench)
PF-Randolph/Rookie PF/Miles (i play Miles here if i'm going against a small lineup. this doesn't happen often)
SF-Lewis/Miles/Patterson
SG-Anderson/Van Excel (occasionally)/Nandi (rookie SG. nothing special)
PG-Stoudamire/Van Excel/Telfair (telfair is a pleasant surprise i'd say. still not very solid though)

by the way, have you had any luck with woods? i just have him on my Injured List... just havent been able to get any consistency out of him. he's definately athletic, but his shot is just terrible.
