Recap

Just days after beating the 4-0 Lakers the Knicks fall to the 1-4 Heat something i keep doing after a big game...losing
Odom was amazing hitting shot after shot with Wallace in his face the whole game .The Heat had the lead in the first half behind string play by Eddie Jone and Rasual Butler chipped in 14 off the bench, the Knicks were flat and lifeless Marbury playing the best forcing the ball for coz the rest of the team were shooting 33% another bad shooting game!! Sheed looked impressive but couldnt produess late in the game. Houston lead the Knicks with 20 but the Heat had 5 people in double figues as there was stopping them on.

It was the first meeting since the trade and i really thought that they would have put up more of a fight than they did. Rasheed Wallace had his best game as a knick with 20 points 10 rebounds while Kurt Thomas had 8 points and 6 rebounds, Shandon Anderson went scorless in 13 minutes.Marbury was player of the game with his all over play. The Knicks played the Pistons style of play using there defence as there wepon holding Detroit to 77 points with strong play from Nazr Mohammed's 9 rebounds 6 blocks. none of the Pistons starters put up big numbers there high man Tayshaun Prince had 15 points.

SG-Allan Houston
PG-Stephon Marbury

Nuggets

C-Marcus Camby
PF-Nene
SF-Carmelo Anthony
SG-Voshon Lenard
PG-Andre Miller

Recap

This was a great game to play in with Melo and Tim Thomas going at it, Anthony was the games top scorer with 30 points but Tim Thomas went one better with a tripple double!! 24 points 14 rebounds 10 assits. Thomas was all over the court grabbing rebounds making passes it was a joy to watch .Things are starting to click with the Knicks now after winning there last two by large margines taking this one 90 - 73. Marbury and Wallace put up good numbers themselves but i was most impressed with the play of Mike Sweetney chipping in 9 points 13 rebounds. behind Melo the Nene and John Barry had 10 points each in what was another great defensive game.

Final score 90 -73

Raptors sink Knicks in OT.

Starting lineups

Knicks

PF-Rasheed Wallace
SF-Tim Thomas
SG-Allan Houston
PG-Stephon Marbury

Raptors

C-Chris Bosh
PF-Donyell Marshall
SF-Vince Carter
SG-Jalen Rose
PG-Alvin Williams

Recap

The Knicks fought well but it wasnt enough to beat the Raptors. Vince Carter was on fire scoring 32 points in 32 shooting 54% he was always out on the break finishing off plays he also got help from Donyell and Rose both having great game. Tim Thomas was having a very bad game and i think i tryed to force it will him too much. I was down by 16 going into the 4th till Allan Houston cought fire nailing 4 3's scoring 14 points in the quarter as the knicks pressed for 12 minutes to take the game into OT but it was there that the gas ran out for the Knicks, Wallace who also had a great 4th quarter couldnt make a shot neither could Houston while the Raptors just got stronger and stronger to pull away for a final score of 116-109.

TRADE NEWS

The Knicks pull off another trade sending Moochie Norris to the sixers for John Salmons

My main goal this summer is to keep Rasheed Wallace and i know iam gonna need to offer him as much as i can to do so. Moochie is third string at the moment behind Stephon Marbury and Frank Williams but is making 3+million for the next 3 years so i decided it was time he went. Salmons is young and can do it all adding a better backup to Allan Houston

Trading places.

To fill the gap left at point gaurd the Knicks have signed free agent pg Keith Mcleod.

Image Keith could play a big part for the Knicks.

Now that you got Salmons you can think about trading Anderson too. He has a bad contract no?
Are you going to keep Baker? :)

Anderson has already been sent packing to the Piston as part of the deal for Wallcae, as for Baker i intend to keep him till the end of the season then i think we will parting ways.

SF-Tim Thomas
SG-Allan Houston
PG-Stephon Marbury

Cavs

C-Zydrunas Ilgauskas
PF-Carlos Boozer
SF-Eric Williams
SG-LeBron James
PG-Jeff McInnis

Recap

For the second staight game i was taken to OverTime and it was only the third time id ever been taken to double OT as well. Zydrunas Ilgauskas was the reason this time he made shot after shot down low showing that the Knicks need to improve in the post. Rasheed Wallace tryed to match Z basket for basket finishing with 31 points in an all round stat night of 31,8,4 and 4 steals, John Salmons played well in his first game with 13 off the bench matching LeBron's 13. Boozer also had a great game with 18,6 but with the knicks Thomas (24) Wallace (31) and Marbury (25) the cavs didnt stand a chance.

KNICKS DYNASTY

Postby mp3 on Sat Jul 03, 2004 5:25 pm

Finally got round to starting this one...

Knicks roster...

C-Nazr Mohammed
PF-Kurt Thomas
SF-Tim Thomas
SG-Allan Houston
PG-Stephon Marbury

PF-Mike Sweetney
SF-Penny Hardaway
SG-Shandon Anderson
PG-Frank Williams
PG-Moochie Norris
C-Dikembe Mutombo
PF-Vin Baker

SF-DerMarr Johnson
C-Cezary Trybanski
SG-Trevor Ariza

Settings are still Andrew's roster & slidders (but with real nba trades) ive released all of the Bobcats players into the free agents pool so they can be signed by anyone so that means that Emeka Okafor is up for grabs!!
Superstar 82 games 12 minute quarters.

The first game is Magic@Knicks so we get a first look at the new look Magic team which includes Dwight Howard the first overall pick in the 2004 Draft and newly acquired NBA All-Star guard Steve Francis.

The first big free agent signing goes to the Suns who have signed Steve Nash From Dallas.

Also in other free agent news the cpu team Lakers signed Quincy Lewis while the Suns picked up Jelani McCoy.

Knicks 94

Starters

Nazr Mohammed <<<< C >>>>> Kelvin Cato
Kurt Thomas <<<<<< PF >>>>> Dwight Howard
Tim Thomas <<<<<<< SF >>>>> Keith Bogans
Allan Houston <<<<<< SG >>>>> Cuttino Mobley
Stephon Marbury <<<< PG >>>>>> Steve Francis

A great game to play Dwight Howard looked real nice while Steve Francis looked lost only scoring a poor 11 point in his debut. Cato and Mobley put the pressure on after i adjusted the the slidders i was finding it abit easy so changed afew things around and got a good run for my money off the Magic. The biggest surprise for me was the play of Shandon Anderson and Moochie Norris two players iam not that big on but they played really well making it hard for me to keep them on the bench. Marbury played his usual game to fill the stat sheet to lead the Knicks with 21 Tim Thomas came in second with 20 but it was the Dwight Howard's 22 that was the game high.

Boxscore

Code: Select all
Shandon Anderson ~ 5 points 3 steals

Penny Hardaway ~ 4 points 5 rebounds

Stephon Marbury ~ 21 points 5 rebounds 10 assists

Nazr Mohammed ~ 13 points 9 rebounds
